I've been doing one too for a few weeks now and it really makes a difference whether or not you have health conditions. I tried the smoothie. I couldn't finish it in 2 days.
I need this advise because I think I keep studying and I'm not getting getting started on any program.
That is such a common thing to do! I’ve done it myself. Just to let you know, I did the goodbye lupus program for two weeks strictly. I went from not being able to hold a glass of water because of pain from rheumatoid arthritis, so much swelling, not being able to sleep Because of pain and the list goes on… In two weeks my pain went away. I made the mistake of going back to eating cooked food, still vegan, but I didn’t receive my full healing because of that. I would say I’m 50% of the way there, but I am completely reinspired and motivated to get going 100% again.
I thought it would share this with you because I would say that that is one of the most common things that we do. I call it analysis paralysis.😂

What’s the difference between protocols? I thought it was all the same smoothies? Same foods ?
Hyper-nourishing is getting in a pound of cruciferous vegetables, a handful of chia/flaxseeds and 96oz-128oz water per day. The veggies/seed intake is usually in the form of smoothies with frozen fruit to make it more palatable. This is to get in nutrients and hydration we often lack.
The Goodbye Lupus protocol is her strictest protocol. It’s hyper-nourishing only…no cooked foods and no animal products. This is for healing. You can have as many smoothies or raw veggies as you want. This is used in her rapid-recovery groups. Sometimes adjustments are made depending on the ailments.

Is it possible to use dried kale and dried powdered spinach to make a smoothie? Are there particular varieties of these leafy green vegetables that are better and maybe one best variety of spinach and a best variety of kale, that is the most nutritious and/or effective for disease reversal? Is there nutrient loss for these vegetables in the powdered form, especially since they are presumably freshly picked and dehydrated or dried and powdered, right away? Watching your videos, you stuff a vita-mix blender container to very near to the top with the vegetables, but how many mg, in powdered form, would this amount of vegetables be, if it is good alternative to the non dried version of the vegetables?

My husband has hypothyroidism and I'm making your delicious green smoothies but there's a problem. I've been making them for a couple of months now and he can't drink more than a couple of gulps at a time because it doesn't seem to agree with his stomach. He's being a real trooper and hasn't stopped it altogether, but green smoothies just don't seem to agree with his system. Each ingredient by themself is something he can eat. Do you have any suggestions?
You mentioned some people react to soy milk - does that mean they react to tofu and other soy products as well? I eat various forms of soy but recently started using soy milk and am having a flare of arthritis.

Does anyone have indigestion from drinking the kale smoothies?
I get IBS when I have raw cruciferous veggies. Ok with cooked. I stick to low fodmap veg for smoothies and salads.

I have Psoriasis, what protocol should I follow?
Her healing protocol is the same for everybody. After you are healed, then you keep up with the hyper nourishment, and you can add in some cooked vegan food. So 96 ounces of water per day, huge, green smoothies that have a total of 1 pound of cruciferous vegetables, 1/2 cup of flaxseed and frozen fruit to taste. Outside of that raw vegetables and fruit.
The healing phase serves a few purposes. It’s anti-inflammatory, you are also doing an oil change so to speak, lowering your inflammatory omega six and increasing your omega-3. it’s hyper nourishing, providing vitamins, minerals, polyphenol, etc. Cooked food can be very inflammatory, unfortunately
I have terrible psoriasis, I have been doing the protocol for almost 8 weeks and still have terrible psoriasis. Would be interested to see people that have actually had results from this diet.

It just doesn’t make sense if you’re healthy why would you put alcohol in your body. Instead why not suggest the need for magnesium and b vitamins. Magnesium is a muscle relaxer and b complex heals the nerves in the body. There wouldn’t be a craving for alcohol if the body was properly nourished. Along with enough sun. Enough rest. Fresh water.
