Roof Rack Renovation on the 71 Super Beetle (Part 1 - Metal and Painting)

This video was about 3 months in the making. Once the rack was removed, disassembled, prepped, painted, and reassembled…it spent most of that 3 months suspended between two trees waiting for me to get to a point in my projects where I could reinstall it.
I’ll make Part 2 of this series at a later date showing the process of cutting, fitting, drilling, oiling, and installing the oak wood slats for the roof rack.
