That is a really nice shoe buckle. I have found just 3 over my 12 years of digging holes and a lot of fragments. Big congrats on that and the Silver ring! See you next time.
How's t going Stef and Nicky. Great Hunt there. Nicky love the Bracelet and Congrats n the IHP. It's crazy it's only your second one. I know you'll find more soon. Stef Congrats on the Beautiful Shoe Buckle. Awesome find in the Basement. Congrats on all your finds. Take Care
Thank you! The Manticore handled it pretty well - although the furnace kicking on at one point did confuse it a little. 😆 I was surprised that I could manage an 11” coil in the basement!
Congrats on a great hunt and the awesome shoe buckle! More importantly it’s nice to hear you’re “closer to well”, it’s a good trend!😉. No Dirt Fishing event for me this year sadly, mandatory overtime will keep me away, but I wish you and all the other diggers the best of luck! 🖖🏻
Awesome video and finds! Always fun when the homeowners get in on a hunt especially when you find something epic like a full shoe buckle frame! Keep up the great work and thanks for sharing!
hi Stef & Nichola, great fun vid. The model T stuff is interesting, i have found stuff like it and now know what it is, thanks. Nice Indian coin & lots of keys there. Thanks for the FAS info too. i did not know you were a rockhound, now you're even cooler :) Keyhole is so cute. Cellar shoe buckle is awesome. just a great day for you all.
@@brunfree thank you! Haha, yeah, we actually went to the East Coast Gem, Mineral, and Fossil show in MA last weekend to see how much money we could burn in a few hours… 😆 Came home with some great new pieces! I’ve been on a chrysocolla kick lately so that was my focus at the show. Found one really wild piece in particular that’s bright blue and acid green where the chrysocolla meets the malachite! 😁
Excellent finds! Beautiful ring.. Ive found lots of rings detecting, none were precious. I have however found precious rings in random parking lots. Open the car door and both times laying right there. Lol. Congrats to Nic as well. Great finds

That basement recovery is one of the wildest things I've ever seen. Only ever hunted one dirt basement and it was all punchouts for the electrical- to find one of your favorites items in the world, priceless! Hard to believe Nic has only previously found 1 Indian- did you get a date off hers- looked old? Would've hoped you scored more old coins, given the home's age, but it was a successful hunt nonetheless- nice job!
@@digginhistoryoncapecod7506 thank you! The shoe buckle made up for the lack of older stuff in the yard. I have to imagine it had a lot of fill dirt. Can’t remember what the date off her IHP was, unfortunately! It’s definitely a strange item to not find many of. 😆
That was AMAZING!!! I can't imagine what it would be like to find a shoe buckle frame to begin with but to find it in the basement of a house that the person who lost it most likely lived in? That makes it way more special. I'm equal parts really happy for you and feeling sorry for myself..😂😂❤
@@StefDigs Interesting! I thought the basement would have been used like it is now - more like a storage area. I had no idea people would have been living down there but maybe it was warmer in the winter. Thanks for the insight!
I really thought there might be a gold coin under the rock in the basement! That was a nice ring and yea you don’t find allot of that type of jewelry. Great hunt for Nicola and you..
That was a crazy recovery I love shoe buckles I found one in a place I would never have imagined I was doing a sidewalk in a town nearby and I kept digging up bottle caps and suddenly there's a complete shoe buckle frame and all couldn't believe my eyes amongst the modern trash about 2 in down
That’s awesome! I just love the recovery of this one - you know it was someone who almost certainly lived there and were probably just keeping their shoes warm by the fire. 😄

I’m glad Jake and Nic were even more determined than me to find out what it was! 😂 I felt guilty at the idea of trying to pry up that huge rock with a pipe running over the top, but Jake was all about it!
@@swilliebill5086 interesting! Couldn’t find anything about that with my Googling, it seems the variety with a small “C D” stamped on it was indeed for a Model T… but my knowledge on anything with an engine isn’t stellar. 😆
