    You mentioned cramping. Not sure if you meant more of a subtle ache or an acute cramp. Can venous insufficiency in deep veins cause severe charley horses? I woke up at an early hour this morning and just moving my left leg slightly triggered a severe charley horse so severe it took my breath away and the muscles in the back of my calf were tensed and unable to release for about 10 minutes. It was excruciating. I have had ablation in peripheral veins but am told it's too dangerous to touch the deep veins which are also having reflux.

      I have the exact same problem... I just love with it lol I have taught myself not to stretch at night or first thing in the morning or move my feet in certain directions

      Which deep veins do u have reflux in?

    • @Zangraf
      @Zangraf 10 месяцев назад

      It should be rechecked again, even after u did an ablation, perforator vein can be develop and reccurence can occur, maybe it is not the deep vein but the perforator that produce the cramping sensation

    I'm 20 years old and has sever venous insufficiency. 3 months later, my compression stocking will be upgraded. I think both my arms also suffers the same fate as my legs. My doctor said I'm too young for any type of surgery, but prior to this I just had bilateral varicocelectomy due to pain.But I think , I shouldn't have went for varicocelectomy before visiting a cardiologist. It seemed that the cardiologist didn't like the fact that I went with a urologist first and proceeded in microsurgery.

      A Cardiologist is not the type of medical professional you should be consulting. You need a Phlebologist who is used to working on veins every day. I’m from England and have been through all of this. I was only 36 when I discovered I had Venous Insufficiency through a long misdiagnosed blood clot caused through the Contraceptive Pill. I had private treatment at a clinic in London from the Professor who pioneered Laser surgery and performed the first laser procedure in the UK in 1998. Look up Professor Mark Whiteley, he even has more up to date treatments available since 2019.

    Could this possibly be what wrong with my knees? After standing for more than 3 hours my knees feel like they got hammered in and after 4.5 or 6 hours my the knee pain is worse and my ankles are also starting to hurt. Then I eventually feel lower back pain.
    I’m 21 and I’ve been feeling this since 16 ☹️

      It sounds like there might be some issues. We recommend booking an appointment with your doctor. While we specialize in treating varicose and spider veins in the legs, it's best to consult with a medical professional for vein issues in your hands.
