Besides horse chestnut supplements, I use citrus bioflavonoids supplements. Excellent for varicose veins and also hemorrhoids.

I wear them at night which helps with restless legs. Also I wear them quite a bit during the day too. Dr. Scholl's work the best for me!

Thanks for the ideas. I found that eating anything with grains was inflammatory and gave me edema. I don't eat carbs anymore, either. No more edema. I also am allergic to compression stockings. I get a terrible rash when I wear them.

Thanks for sharing. Possibly the fibers in the compression socks are causing a reaction, try other socks made with different materials. Blessings!

Thank you for this message. Dr. Andrew Weil recommended horse chestnut many years ago. It was a cream. Didn't know you could get it in a supplement. My husband has pain in his one leg in the morning. Takes a few hours for it to go away. This may be what is causing the pain.
    Thank you. God Bless.

Hello Dr Marcum, Thank you for all your teaching. It's helps us a lot. I know this is off topic, but I have had 'PSVT's for over 21 years& usually able to control these with valsava maneuvers. It usually happens 1- 2x year and HR goes upto high as 220 and lasts abt 15- 45 min. I usually don't take anything but if it lasts more than 20 min,I take a Diltiazam and so far helped. It's a very scary situation. I was wondering what you would recommend to someone who is going thru something like this? Ablation? Scared to do go thru something like that.I am a 45 yr old female otherwise healthy.

I need some help,I hope this comment reaches you. I’m 28yrs old I’ve been taking propranolol for 2 years now, my dr put me on these medications sense I struggle with social anxiety ,my heart loses control and decides to just speed up like crazy, though the beta blockers do work, they bring up symptoms that I don’t like and if there’s any diet or anything you can recommend for me to do I’ll do it.

Hi. Thank you for this video. I use Butchers Broom. It’s a natural supplement that works very similar to the horse chestnut that you mentioned. It’s been extremely helpful for me. Check it out.
