yes. it relieves pain. it is not a treatment for blood clots. it works in small-diameter veins and larger-diameter veins depending on their size. New veins have new valves, however, it is genetic, so valves can become faulty.

These were all done at a vein clinic in London in 2018 at a cost of about £6,000. I haven’t looked back since and was the best money I ever spent. There are more up to date procedures now replacing the EVLT since 2019.

The blood from inside the vein is withdrawn. It does not remain in the blood stream.
