It’s tough because affordable printers tend to require work to get them printing consistently and those that do are quite a bit more money. I will say that the Ankermake printer I used for the replica Doc Brown binoculars prop was pretty good and wasn’t crazy expensive.
@@VanOaksProps thank you. I will definitely check that out and I really appreciate the honest answer because that’s something I never would’ve known otherwise and probably would’ve had to learn the hard way.
Another great video, though I am curious about something, and I'm sure there must be a reason why you do it that way. But if you're weathering over the top is there really a need to get the earlier coats so perfect? Seems any imperfections would just look like weathering? Cheers
Great build! The video should be playing on a loop at their Comicon booth!
Absolutely INCREDIBLE!
Oh wow the LED lights really stepped this up! So cool!
Great work as always man. I need to try that salt technique

Me too!
Absolutely beautiful result. Amazing
Thank you! 😊
I wish I'd known about this before the con - I would've dropped by the booth!
Another awesome build, really enjoy your videos. 👍😎
Glad you like them!
Great build.
Yeah. Very nice. Should look great at the convention.
Fantastic work
Thanks buddy!
Man I really want a 3D printer. The possibilities are endless. Do you have an affordable recommendation for beginners? This really came out so cool.
Following this comment!😁

Look in your area for a Makers Space or check at your local library. Some libraries have 3D printers !

3d print lines will ruin any prop so I wanted to be sure they were gone before doing anything else.
@@VanOaksProps thanks
Good morning
Why do you keep calling C3P0 K3P0???
I mention it in the video, but basically K-3PO is another protocol droid, like C-3PO, but has a different name and is white in color.
@@VanOaksProps thanks for keeping me in the know
