you rested for a while. its worth that reflection time and questioning the why behind what we're doing. even if it means some downtime or temporary "softening". life whips us back into the struggle fortunately 🙂

I binged your content back in 2019 Jon, you got me into fasting and ended up taking up MMA and competing after I saw you talk about Muay Thai. This has lit a fire in my belly again. You're doing gods work Jon. I'm all in too

I hate to tell you John. This is my personal opinion of course and just so happens the timeline fits as well but this all leads back to women and our evolutionary desire to obtain them. You no longer have that drive that you once had because you’re married as am myself. The deep rooted desire is what created the world we live in. Without the passion and drive to conquer those desires we become stagnant as men. We really have to change our world view and makeup to do things a different way and for diff reasons but it ultimately leaves a void that cant be filled by anything else.

I am aware there can situations where money or fame etc can become the void that is desired to be filled in some cases. But this pales in comparison to the profound impact chasing women can have on your goals and your happiness. Just my two cents.

@@chadhooke306 Well it was kind of the opposite for me to be honest, chasing women was a distraction and once I found one and have been with since many years for now, I actually managed to become more successful in fitness, business and mindset.

I don't completely disagree, but I'm trying to find the way past is and beyond it. I am sure it is there.

Perhaps go and build a startup, sell it, and retire. See what you’re made of.

he kinda did that with the previous business. but like we all know its getting harder to win at these business games each year. its winner takes all, effortlessly. social dynamics mean most of us either get "stuck" winning or stuck losing. success is nonlinear and not in anyway based on hard work or fairness. it's overcoming the dynamics that work against a change in position
