Exodus is one of the pioneers of thrash metal , they've been around for 40 yrs and there as important as any of the Big 4 bands . From the Bay Area and still putting out killer music , in fact should have a new record out this year . Kirk Hammett left Exodus to join Metallica and replace Dave Mustaine , who in turn started his own band Megadeth.
My favorite Exodus song is personally "The Last Act Of Defiance". It's a true story about a prison riot that happened in 1980 at New Mexico State Penitentiary. I highly reccomend giving it a listen.
Good song, very politically charged lyrically.(Impact is imminent),(Last act of defiance)exodus. A little less harsh lyrically, but good aggressive thrash metal with a message.
@@crashdummy40 You can very much be a Patriot and still disagree with some of the shit your country is pulling - especially if said country is a fully developed western democracy. This was a protest anthem against Bush II's War on Terror - and heavily criticized the abuse of Patriotism to push politics.
If you want to hear controversial, listen to " Class Dismissed" from their Exhibit B the Human Condition album. It's about the Virginia Tech shooting from point of view of the shooter
EXODUS is one of the most bad-ass original thrash bands since the genre's existed. Gary Holt's (founder/guitarist) evil breakneck style of writing & playing is legendary as is the band to true thrash fans around the globe since the early 80s. This particular song is verry reminiscent of tht 1st album Bonded By Blood. I think this songs message tho is just as powerful as the music making it a perfect storm of a thrash track.
more metal than I'm used to. but there is a lot of killer musical skill that goes hard and at least the singer is mostly understandable. nice reaction. ps.the name you put in the title is pronounced Ex-o-dus. I'm helping. 😘
Sir I know that your a veteran and thank you for your service 🇺🇸I have a song for you by Lee Greenwood song is god bless the U.S.A thank you for your time and happy new year
The Lyrics to this song were and still are , controversial. ........There's so many songs by Exodus that are classics ......Try and old song ...." No Love" and a newer one. " Funeral Hymn"
When I first time listened Zetro's singing, I've also found his voice very controversial ;) PS. Try to react some Iced Earth's stuff like "Damien" or "10,000 strong".
I couldn't with this, and I listen to black metal to fall asleep to. This song was garbage in my opinion. I think it was the vocals that did it in for me. Can you please react to Hail to the King by Avenged Sevenfold?
@@Metalhead_Coaster_Fan I dig old school too. Grew up on it. Seen Sabbath, Ozzy, Sepultura, Metallica, Pantera all live. Probably my favorite genre is black, or rather unblack metal. Currently listening to a playlist mix of Slechtvalk, Crimson Moonlight, Pantokrator, Frosthardr, Horde, and Sanctifica. If you've never heard a black metal version of In the Bleak Midwinter, I highly recommend it.
you could pick literally any song on this album for some jaw dropping riffs and lyrics.
Agreed
This has to be your best mispronunciation to date.

'The last act of defiance' is a must. It's about a prison riot
This song is from 2004 and taking a stance against the Iraq-War and the War on Terror in General.
Finally someone knows wtf they are talking about
sad that’s it’s still relevant today
Exodus (Exodius?) just dropped their first song in 7 years! React to it please. It's called The Beatings Will Continue (Until Morale Improves)!
Good song, very politically charged lyrically.(Impact is imminent),(Last act of defiance)exodus. A little less harsh lyrically, but good aggressive thrash metal with a message.

Exodus - Funeral Hymn. A slower, groovier kinda jam by these guys.
Also with a different vocalist
If you want a true holiday song, check out Type O Negative's "Red Water (Christmas Mourning)". You won't be disappointed.
