the studio version was actually zetro on the vocals and from its album, 'tempo of the damned' in 2004. rob came on during 'shovel headed kill machine' in 2005, and is thus the one in the 2008 live version. but yea, rob was one of a kind with his vocals. especially on the song 'beyond the pale', holy hell.

They were playing thrash metal before there was thrash metal. Never hit it as big as Metallica or Megadeth, but Exodus was doing it before they were. That's so typical, the originators of a genre never hit it as big as those that follow in their footsteps.
Seen Exodus a few years back when they were on tour with Slayer and Rob Zombie in 2011 it was an amazing show...I always was a fan of Exodus when their first album bonded by blood came out in 1985 I believe.
I've seen Exodus twice. Once supporting Testament, and once supporting Testament and Megadeth. In fact the one where they supported just Testament was the last show I saw at the House of Blues Hollywood before they closed. That was a shame as Testament used to play there quite often. I also agree with Rich that Blacklist is my favorite Exodus song. I was to also see them at an Ozzfest but got there too late and missed them. But I did get Halford and Sabbath. I had a pit pass for that show and a VIP lounge pass. That was good because between Halford and Sabbath was Motley Crue, which I can't stand, so I went to the VIP lounge and ate tacos.
