Bought Drain King off Amazon. Received it in 2 days. Disconnected the P-Trap, attached the bladder unit to the hose running from the Garden. Put the unit w/hose into the pipe. Clog was about 3 yards from the sink. Couldn't get it with Liquid Plumr, Pequa or a plunger w/hot water. Turned on the Garden hose and 3 minutes later the clog was gone. If this didn't work I would have had to call a plumber and paid at least $250. AMAZING PRODUCT. Every house should have one.
They really are one of the best plumbing tools I've ever come across. Not many homeowners know about them though. Glad to hear you got your clog fixed 👍
Last time I had the plumber snake it and it cost me $$$. This time it cost $12 off Amazon ! @@JonnyDIY
Worked beautifully! Half way through process didnt think it was going to work, but stuck with it. Thank you so much!!!!
You're welcome! So glad it worked for yall :)
sometimes it takes longer. patience is the key.
Thank you for demonstrating your process...nice to witness your genuine success!!
You're welcome, happy I could help 👍
Thanks for showing. It gave me the confidence to go for it!
You're welcome, glad I could help 👍
I heard the pressure building up got scared at my old lady cut the water hose off water shot all over me😢
There are different bladder thingies out there, but as far as I know only Drain King has the Kitchen Sink Crossbar Adapter - Drain King part PE60. Thanks for the demo using it.
You're welcome, glad to help 👍 Yes I've had best luck using the Drain King over the years
Thanks for this video. I will buy the bladder you suggested on Amazon!
You're very welcome, happy to help 👍

I wish I could see a wide shot of him setting the camera up and walking away only to turn around and dart back into frame with the whole "wasssup" intro. hahaha.
Lol yeah i shoulda compiled all the funny failed intros from all my videos 🤣
make sure your dishwasher drain hose is clamped for this....it will back up into the dishwasher if ya don't.
Hopefully its plumbed through the top of your cabinet. That prevents it from backing up
do you mean not attached to the disposal but, thru it's own separate drain? they do use venting called "air gaps" that allow better venting for the dishwasher....they put those either on top of the sink or right below it.
I was talking about how the drain line for the dishwasher runs through the cabinet to the disposal, but often it is mistakenly run through the lower part of the cabinet instead of running it up through the cabinet so that it doesnt create a low point for the water to back up into the dishwasher.
right...but, if you don't block off that drain line when you pressurize the sink drain it will want to back up into the dishwasher. i know this because mine did that. just as the water wants to back up through the other side of the sink...it will want to do the same via the DW.
I think I got away without clamping it that time, but I have clamped the hose off at the disposal rubber inlet another time.
Best way is to stick it in clean out. I have a clean out under the snick. No need to go on top of the roof to plug the went. Easy peasy
Good point, forgot to mention the clean out 👍 thanks for sharing
Any suggestions for clamping off my dishwasher hose/drain. Water is coming out of that pipe?
Clamp or locking pliers or remove hose and clamp a bolt or wood dowel in it to plug
Need to plug the disposal's dishwasher drain.
Yes I usually clamp it shut 👍
will it not blow up the pipes if it 100% clogged?
I've never had an issue. I'd think the water would start coming back up with 100 percent blockage 👍
@@JonnyDIY thank you, I really appreciate it 🙏❤

The pressure that you are applying with this is no higher than the pressure that ordinarily sits in the pipes delivering the water to your house.
Where can I get one for a 3" drain?
Here you go, this one will work for 3-6" drain lines 👍

@@JonnyDIY Thanks

What really works for that is the wet and dry vaccum.
Yes that can work as well 👍
@@JonnyDIY It also works for clogged underneath pipes. in the basement. just use the blower. i had a backup water in my basement when i was trying to do laundry and i use the wet and dry vaccum to pick up the water. then i realized i should use the blower and problem resolve no more water flushing out.
How can you tell which pipe on the roof is the vent?
The vent will usually be very close to straight above the appliance its for. Be it the sink, shower/tub, or toilet
If you have an overflow WHICH MOST SINKS DO.. this WON'T necessarily work.
Thats true. If you have an overflow for the dishwasher, just clamp off the hose under the sink & itll work fine
Smaller than it appeared in the photo
Sure does work great though, unclogged sink with it 3 time at least
Does the size of the hose matter (story of my life 🍆🍆😂) jk but seriously just wondering if the hose determines how much pressure the drain king puts out.
Shouldn't matter too much as the hose will just keep adding water until it creates enough pressure to unclog it 👍
I know it's a demo but start wearing gloves you say it's a nasty job!
Yeah I do on certain jobs. Just have to use the long ones that go up your arm so it doesnt just go in between the gloves and your hands 😀👍🏻
chewbacca is dying!
Lol that's the sound! 🤣 Never pinpointed it haha 👍
@@JonnyDIY no problem, thank you ❤
this person does not understand how a drain system is set up.
I figured out how to get the clog undone 🤷♂️😄👍 That's all that mattered in this one
