"Staying inside the room" is the most succinct and potent concept in apologetics that I have heard in 50 years of following Christ.

I agree! It's a very interesting and thought-provoking way of talking about naturalists! God bless, brother!

"Why do you call me 'good'? No one is good except God alone" (Jesus of Nazareth).

Thanks, Jim. This is the finest, most concise treatment of the moral argument I've seen. I will be passing this along to others.

Thank you. This is one of the best explanation of the moral argument. Watching from Cuba.
    Blessings in Him.

:/ I don't believe in objective transcendant moral laws, so this argument doesn't help me much. That's an assumption this argument relies on.

You'd have to admit Killing is not wrong or anything that's absolutely "sinful" for that

@@jrozlie2280maybe what this brother means is that he just thinks that all morals are societal and evolutionary. Which I feel is possible as well, but there are some moral laws that just don't seem to really have any real benefit(and sometimes even negatively impacting) the survival and what not of a species. For example, raping. I assume that we know raping is wrong... I hope😅. Anyway, wouldn't it be better to rape anyone who looks like they are sexually viable? Like it'll help spread your genes better, IDK. There just seems to not have to have a need for moral "laws" whether in a society or naturally, especially not the ones that we have come up with, like no killing or no raping. Since wouldn't killing and raping your enemies and what not technically increase likelihood of survival? And since morality is just societal, then there is nothing on the societal side that would stop the natural side(that is far more important) from developing raping and murdering, as people would just accept societally whatever comes to them and whatever benefits them the most. Like, I have no reason not to steal from elderly beggars, but I don't, I feel for them, in an inexplicable sense... I care? Btw, I wasn't really raised(at least not explicitly) to care about people and stuff... It's just that... It seems built in ... I don't know. Now, this doesn't prove the existence of a God necessarily, but it's an interesting to think about.

Anybody murdering you or your loves one have not violated any moral truths because it is a matter of opinion?

@jordannewberry9561 That’s the consistent position so we appreciate your consistency! It’s awful hard to live out that position in the world though. Nobody wants to be murdered, err I mean, nobody wants their particles rearranged 🙂

Yeah, nobody lives that out, as stated by other people concerning murder, child abuse, etc.
Further, atheists don't see Christianity and think "those are just equally valid moral views different than my own." Nope, they try to dissuade people of faith, as if their own morality is superior... while claiming objective morality doesn't exist, so it's all just opinions. 🥴
