Why should we trust what the gospel authors have to say about Jesus? How can we test the Gospel authors to see if their accounts are reliable? J. Warner answers these questions in this video from a stage presentation from his book, Cold-Case Christianity.

I've watched this vid before ...several times ....and every time it blows my mind how you explain it and how obvious it is when you do.
Please God let the information stick.
Many thanks Mr Warner and God bless you and your work.

Succinct answers to the objections of Ehrman and Pagels et al which I confess have certainly given me pause over the years while I was busy raising 4 children and working 60 hours/week. Obviously I am not a professional theologian/biblical scholar as those two are who raise accurate points but with,as it turns out, inaccurate emphasis. There is still room for varied interpretations of these writings by the Iranaeus’s in the chain of custody. “…but who do YOU say that I am?” (Emphasis added…)
Peter Confesses Jesus as the Christ
13 Now when Jesus came into the district of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, “Who do people say that the Son of Man is?” 14And they said, “Some say John the Baptist, others say Elijah, and others Jeremiah or one of the prophets.” 15He said to them, “But who do you say that I am?” 16Simon Peter replied, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.” 17And Jesus answered him, “Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah! For flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but my Father who is in heaven.

How do we know that Polycarp, Ignatius and Papias were students of the disciple John?

You don’t find these contradictions in the kjv manuscripts (from Antioch) like you do the wescott and hort. God said He would preserve His word, and not even one tittle would pass away. Things that are different are not the same. That’s why I believe the kjv text is the only true preserved Word of God. Don’t take my opinion though, look into it and research it.

According to some studies, pardon me, the KJV has an amount of verses added in that weren't there in the original manuscripts. That's why we have other versions.

After that I'm not really sure where you stand on God's perfect word. There are no mistakes in my KJB. God's word does not have errors. Though the ESV, NIV, ASV, etc all do.

Respectfully: I assume, you do know, KJV is not original manuscript, or manuscript period. The KJV had original publication errors (it was updated several times), see 1611 KJV vs. current KJV. Try speaking old English every day. I don’t think you do.
