Jim was interviewed by Leon Fontaine on the Leon Show and spoke about the evidence for God's existence. Jim talked about his own journey to faith and the investigative process he used to determine if God is real. Why should we believe the Bible? How can we know Christianity is true?
Evidence for God... Easiest question for me.. Show me anything that was created by nothing... Everything has a creator just as we do..

@@ateriana5116 This claim is mainly made my creationists and the person who made this comment left out an important detail. Just like you said at least one thing/being doesn't have a creator. That one Being in this situation being Yahweh/Jehovah (the God of the Bible) This arguments main idea is that this universe shows evidence of intelligent design and all design must have a designer. With that logic the only way the universe and time could have been created and designed is if a Creator greater than the creation created and designed it.
@@eleat Here let’s go over the Evidence for God. We know the universe is governed by precise mathematical laws of Physics. Rule of newton puts it-there cannot be laws without a lawmaker. All laws require intelligence to formulate and intelligence to understand which include humans. Compiled Laws put in place such as laws of thermodynamics demonstrate time initiated the universe yet there was a timeless cause. The universe a pendulum of time is clockwork, more complex than a Rolex watch. This alone calls for intelligent design any time of the week. We know God who has thoughts feelings ideas emotions made things in fours. Examples for the earth: there is four seasons fours elements four winds four sides to earths compass. That’s four fours. The grids used for maps is made up of foursquares of equal sides. In nature we have animals that walk on fours with typically four toes. Some have external fours such as tarantulas or octopus on sides. Humans have four fingers each hand excluding thumbs. Humans also grow four wisdom teeth. DNA which makes up all life is made up of four principle molecules. Gods name in Hebrew you guessed it four letters YHWH. The eden he made In the beginning had four rivers that crossed it, two of which still exist today. It seems clearly then that God left his fingerprints and name all over creation. It also seems apparent that God is highly intelligent for he did the math before we even discovered it.
So what is the reason of existence of God🙄

Modern Quantum Physics has shown that reality is based on probability:
A statistical impossibility is defined as “a probability that is so low as to not be worthy of mentioning. Sometimes it is quoted as 1/10^50 although the cutoff is inherently arbitrary. Although not truly impossible the probability is low enough so as to not bear mention in a Rational, Reasonable argument." The probability of finding one particular atom out of all of the atoms in the universe has been estimated to be 1/10^80. The probability of just one (1) functional 150 amino acid protein chain forming by chance is 1/10^164. It has been calculated that the probability of DNA forming by chance is 1/10^119,000. The probability of random chance protein-protein linkages in a cell is 1/10^79,000,000,000. Based on just these three cellular components, it would be far more Rational and Reasonable to conclude that the cell was not formed by un-directed random natural processes. Note: Abiogenesis Hypothesis posits that un-directed random natural processes, i.e. random chance formation, of molecules led to living organisms. Natural selection has no effect on individual atoms and molecules on the micro scale in a prebiotic environment. (*For reference, peptides/proteins can vary in size from 3 amino acid chains to 34,000 amino acid chains. Some scientists consider 300-400 amino acid protein chains to be the average size. There are 42,000,000 protein molecules in just one (1) simple cell, each protein requiring precise assembly. There are approx. 30,000,000,000,000 cells in the human body.)
Of all the physical laws and constants, just the Cosmological Constant alone is tuned to a level of 1/10^120; not to mention the fine-tuning of the Mass-Energy distribution of early universe which is 1/10^10^123. Therefore, in the fine-tuning argument, it would be more Rational and Reasonable to conclude that the multi-verse is not the correct answer. On the other hand, it has been scientifically proven numerous times that Consciousness does indeed collapse the wave function to cause information waves of probability/potentiality to become particle/matter with 1/1 probability. A rational and reasonable person could therefore conclude that the answer is consciousness.
A "Miracle" is considered to be an event with a probability of occurrence of 1/10^6. Abiogenesis, RNA World Hypothesis, and Multiverse would all far, far, far exceed any "Miracle". Yet, these extremely irrational and unreasonable hypotheses are what some of the world’s top scientists ‘must’ believe in because of a prior commitment to a strictly arbitrary, subjective, biased, narrow, limiting, materialistic ideology / worldview.
Every idea, number, concept, thought, theory, mathematical equation, abstraction, qualia, etc. existing within and expressed by anyone is "Immaterial" or "Non-material". The very idea or concept of "Materialism" is an immaterial entity and by it's own definition does not exist. Modern science seems to be stuck in archaic, subjective, biased, incomplete ideologies that have inadequately attempted to define the "nature of reality" or the "reality of nature" for millennia. A Paradigm Shift in ‘Science’ is needed for humanity to advance. A major part of this Science Paradigm Shift would be the formal acknowledgment by the scientific community of the existence of "Immaterial" or "Non-material" entities as verified and confirmed by observation of the universe and discoveries in Quantum Physics.)

The Bible tells us that God has already given enough evidence so that no one is without excuse and that denying it makes one a fool. No matter what's presented it's going to be viewed through a foolish worldview. Present to them they already know God and are trying to suppress the truth in unrighteousness and need to ask forgiveness.

But how do you know everything that has a begining has to have a beginner. Just cause we havent seen it before doesnt mean its not likely to happen. I really need an answer to this question. Desperately.

We cannot see Love, only manifestations of it and yet, we believe in Love! Why then should we deny the existence of God when His presence/pray-sense although unseen is manifested everywhere, and to include Love in all its manifestations!
Thank you for showing that Christianity is true, Jesus is real. God is sovereign. Another aspect as believers of Jesus is each of us has to build the wonderful relationship with our God. Christianity is about having a relationship with God; the Father, Jesus and the Holy Spirit.

All you have to do is look no further than yourself. The human body is an amazing machine that did not happens by accident. All the tiny capillaries and muscle fibers. It would take the intelligence and know how of a being beyond super human to create it
Thanks Jim. It seems clear that you can't have a naturalistic explanation for the existence of the universe but athiests don't want to accept this. Give science more time they say.
I've also heard that the rule of cause and effect does not apply to the universe as there was no time until the universe came into existence. Not sure if I'm missing something but that sounds strange.
I think the genetic code is also pretty good evidence of God
you dont get it. If god was material evidence then that wouldnt be god, Outside the material , asking for faith. It would be a natural.phenomenon, no matter how great.

Love your vids; I can't find evidence for your statement about 3:30 where you said, "The Universe still has usable energy", even tho I googled "Does the universe still have usable energy". Please show me where you're getting that from. Thx.
The fact that you’re alive proves it. Our solar system has a sun (star) - that also proves it. Our sun has a lifespan, it will run out of fuel and die someday. If the universe were infinitely old, our sun would be dead already. And so would we. Which is how we know there is still usable energy in the universe.
The best Christian debater I have heard is Dr. John Lennox.
You should check out Micheal Jones and also Jay dyer, they are 2 Christians who are both opposed to each other, but they also easily conquer in debates

There are two different languages. There is the language of the atheist and there is the language of Yahweh. There is no communication between the two because the atheist does not want to communicate in the same way that Yahweh wants to communicate. For example, Yahweh says, “Let us reason together, though your sins be as scarlet...” (Isaiah 1:18). The first thing on Yahweh's lists for discussion is your sin. However, for the atheist that topic is the last thing on the list. Also, it's not what you believe in, it's about what you love (Mark 12:33).
The atheist's remedy to explain all his theories and to discredit the Genesis story is to add the construct of billions of years. But on the other hand, everything in Genesis is created in its adult form from the beginning. The trees, the animals, mankind are all created in their adult form. That also includes the universe. And an adult universe would and should appear to be billions of years old.
Atheist do not understand that consciousness is not a chemical formula which could ever be created in a lab. When we talk about the elements we are talking about our experience of the elements through the miracle of consciousness.
I would agree that the churches today are defective. In fact, the Apostle Paul pronounced a curse on most churches today because the main Christian denominations of today preach a different gospel than what Paul preached. To quote exactly what Paul said, “But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.” (Galatians 1:8). Both apostle Paul and Peter preached the same gospel and quote from the prophet Joel (2:32) saying, "For whosoever shall call upon the name of Yahweh shall be saved." (Romans 10:13 and Acts 2:21). The English translations say “Lord” instead of “Yahweh.” But “Lord” does not translate “Yahweh” it is a substitution of a totally different word altogether. This substitution activates two additional curses because if you substitute a word you are both adding and subtracting at the same time. “For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.” (Revelation 22:18, 19)
We are commanded by Messiah that, “...repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.” (Luke 24:47). In other words, we are supposed to preach the gospel that came out of Jerusalem and not preach the gospel that came out of Antioch, or Rome, or England, or New York, or Chicago, etc. By the time the gospel got to Antioch it had already been perverted as we read, “...And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch.” (Acts 11:26). The problem with this is that Yahweh spoke of a people called by His name (Deuteronomy 28:10; 2 Chronicles 7:14; Isaiah 43:6, 7; Daniel 9:19; Amos 9:12; Acts 15:17). Yahweh did not choose the name “Christian” for Himself. The people of Antioch chose that name and all the so called main denominations of today embrace that name “Christian” for themselves. When Peter and Paul preached the gospel they quote the prophet Joel, “Whosoever shall call on the name of Yahweh shall be saved.” (Joel 2:32; Acts 2:21; Rom. 10:13). I ask you, how many of the church fathers and so called main denominations of today preach that gospel? None of them. Absolutely none!
Paul makes it very clear that the end result of him preaching the gospel was that the people would call on the name Yahweh. He says in (Rom. 10:14,15), The preachers are sent. They preach. The people hear. The people believe. The people call on the name Yahweh (Rom. 10:13). I ask you, how many of the church fathers and so called main denominations of today preach that gospel? None of them. Absolutely none!
It took only one generation after the death of Joshua for the children of Israel to forget the mighty works of Yahweh which He had worked through Moses and Joshua and to began to serve the idols of the people around them (Judges 2:7-13). It took only one generation.
I never dug to deep into the small things yaweh lord. Jesus knows my heart and everyone's. If that's all we've ever heard him called that what we no him by. Jesus don't look at the out side he looks at the heart. Small little details don't matter as long as your heart is right I'm not going to go in detail years ago I asked Jesus lord this group says that these people says this they say do that. Lord who's right or who's wrong. I felt to get the Bible I laid it on back of my couch and the pages just randomly fell open when I looked down out of all the pages all the scriptures all the different words in the Bible when I looked down first thing I saw was when you seek me with all of your heart then will I be found.
