- Hey, everyone! Finally got my hands on the X-T5 after a few months of waiting! I had a really hard time deciding which new Fujifilm flagship to get, but yeah in this video I unbox and talk about why I chose the X-T5 for my RUclips videos. Hope you enjoy the video!

The compact size is nice. I often photograph from a tripod at sunrise and occasionally at night, so I’m a fan of top panel LCDs of the XH series. Congrats, awesome camera.

Preordered xt5 since december but now I have the money to get the XH2s due to the delays. A big benefit to the XT5 is it's quite compact.
hi! love your review on this cam! so detailed and easy to understand hehe... we are currently choosing between the xt5 and the x100v...what would be the better option? Planning to invest on something that can be used for everyday travel and family pics/videos but not be so bulky... hope u can help us choose which one! :)
Seems we think along the same lines....I compared the 3 and have settles on the X-T5 also. Among the reasons, I'm fine with SD cards shooting professionally for years now and don't see the benefit in the much more expensive CF Express cards. I've had an X-T2 and X-T3 in the past (X-T2 was great, X-T3 not as good) and now have an X-T4 (great) and X-S10. I also agree with you on the "flippy screen" and as one who primarily shoots stills, I don't understand why so many still photogs prefer the non-flippy screen.....????? Looking forward to your future videos on the X-T5!!! (And hope school is going well for you!)

I am in the same situation. Torn between X-H2 with X-T5 ... I am intend to take X-T5 jumping from my existing X-T30... but the high resolution on LCD with fully articulated screen holding me up. I don't know where will I end up with but this video will surely help me.
That's a good camera. Easy to use, very nice jpegs out of the camera and it looks very good. Lot of programable dials and buttons.

Nice summary! Are you planning to do a video about the Panasonic S5 Mk2 that has just been released? It sounds like that camera might kill off every other camera that's in that price bracket as well as some that are much more expensive. Full frame, great AF and stabilisation and for similar price to X-T4! PS. I am a Fuji owner and not sponsored by Panasonic.😄

It's in my radar before but when s5ii came out I'm confused because it has almost the same price, i have xt3 and s5 but i want to add one more body m1ybe xt5 ot s5ii, im doing photography and video what do uou think i will choose?
People that came from previous XT camera were saying the build quality wasn't as good anymore like the buttons were looser and the dials weren't as tactile, etc...... Do you notice this with yours compared to the XT4? I was thinking about upgrading but I rather step up to the XH2s but it seems overpriced for an APS-C camera. Was thinking about switching to the Sony A7IV for the same price but I guess people reported the same thing about the build quality not being there like on their other previous Sony bodies.
Hello I have bought a brand new xt5 but the battery have no power when I unbox it do you have same situation?
Does x-e4 has some overheating issues?
I don't understand why the X-T5 without the flip screen when you stated that the flip screen is VERY important with you being a one person operation. For me is is the X-H2S WITH flip screen and all the other features that I can use as I progress with photos and videos.
I have nikon z9 and sony A7R5 but for street photography i love my xt 5
I tend to found that older the camera model is the better it is for me personally, the silver looks much better than the black.

Did you ever consider the Xpro3? I'm contemplating buying the XT-5 but I also like the Xpro3. I may wait until Fujifilm releases the Xpro4 and see what it offers before deciding. Congrats on your new camera.
Talk of a x-pro4 to be released soon. At March fujifilm submit. I'm waiting till then to decide on what form factor

I really wish that they didn't change the screen. That's a deal breaker for me. I prefer the flippy screen of the X-T4

Before all these cameras were announced I had three simple wishes. 4K120, the classic Fuji dials and the grip of the X-H1. Then they mutilated the X-H2S, the only camera that can do 4K120 with a PASM dial, so now I'm also here with an X-T5 even if I would have paid €500 extra to get the right dials on the X-H2S. Next generation, if Fuji doesn't stop this PASM idiocy, I'm simply going Nikon and leaving the X-T5 to be a B-cam. Because if I have to use PASM, Fuji isn't the best option anymore.
Can’t believe this top camera doesn’t come with charger. Ok you can charge through camera but who has 1 battery. So after buying camera you need to buy a charger.
