yes! this is why before i prayed the rosary, i failed much more often. the rosary is a meditation on Christ's life through the Virgin Mary's eyes. i have realized the more i pray the rosary, the closer to Jesus i become. also frequently recieving of Jesus in communion & visits to Eucharistic Adoration as often as possible helps me make Jesus the center of my life. these things combined with the rosary helps me grow so in Love with God, willing to do anything for Him, willing to suffer with Him. ❤ i'm not naturally a holy person, nobody is, because we aren't God.. but the rosary sure does help me be someone that never forgets who God is and what He has done for us. without the graces from a devotion to the rosary, i am not strong against evil. i am weak, i am discouraged, i am not a saint without Him. He is with us not because He needs us but because we need Him in order to become like Him. Holy. 🕊 A Saint. A person who does not follow the world but follows God no matter how difficult it can be. His mother is full of grace and helps us so much. I promise you the rosary is not just some long prayer, you will feel her grace the more you willingly ask for her help. I have prayed the full rosary (the 4 mysteries in one day) and the grace i recieved is something i cannot explain. suddenly sin becomes disgusting to you, and you can break any addiction to sin, thats all Mama Mary's grace from her intercession. 🥺🕊❤ Mama Mary truly is a gift of grace to us.
I simply cannot keep a Journal. Have tried many times - the longest I lasted was 2 weeks, lol Just have to go with memory. Fortunately, I have a great memory, even at 70 years old. Of course, I believe God has given me that wonderful memory. God Bless. 😊🙏✝️

I will never forget until the day I die! I was born into a very dysfunctional family and I am 56 years old I have fought with anxiety depression bipolar and suicidal thoughts my entire life! So thanks alot God! If you're actually real.
Trusting God no matter what anyone says. You don't have to be perfect to follow the Lord. Sometimes you feel as though you will never be good enough, and that it is too late. But that is just not true. God has fixed my broken life and heart. No matter what anyone says...Would trust God with my story. He won't shame me or try to make me feel small. He will love me and forgive me. And he has. So God knows what your about ...the road I'm traveling on is in the Lords direction. Never turning back. Thank you God for your great Love...and for seeing the whole story, not just passing judgement.
I couldn’t help but think of the miracle of the Shroud of Turin. Jesus left that for us to see His love for us. I wish the Church would promote it more fully.

I am far from perfect, yet each night that I lay down I see the blessing you gave me to finish living one more day, each morning I wake up I see the blessing you are giving me for allowing me to wake up and see my kids. As a mother of two little ones and recently diagnosed with cancer, I can say our almighty Lord has opened my eyes to see all the blessings, even the rainy days, I thank Him for the water, days of pain I thank Him for his sacrifice in the cross, as my cancer treatment pain is nothing compared to His pain in the cross! Lord, for this reason I will never ask you “why me? Why cancer diagnoses?”, because I know you are working in me! All glory to you Lord!
I ordered and just received my book delivered. It is called DON’T FORGET TO REMEMBER, a child’s board book by Ellie Holcomb. I read this delightful book where God reminds us that all He created is because He loves us. And then I immediately found this message. It’s a double-whammy for me today! Jesus, I don’t ever want to forget to remember You and the beauty of all of your Creation, including all those You give me to love. God bless and protect YOU, Fr Mike!
This video just came up on its own while I was away from my computer but could still hear it and was upset. I can't describe how perfectly this fits my current situation as I am feeling so down at this time. But just the other day I did have a miracle - I prayed the prayers of the Mother of Perpetual help - to Mother Mary. We are in a freeze and were without power - just as I completed prayers - within a couple seconds the power turned on as I had asked for her intercession and help and was granted the help. The next day - my precious little hummingbird that visited my porch froze to death despite my best efforts and really punched me in the gut - I was so down as I found her frozen underneath a shrub. I live alone and often the hummingbirds are my greatest little companions - so it did punch me in the gut. I felt like God took away his love but this really helped remind me that is not true and I feel it is not an accident is presented itself and I heard the message. Thank you Fr. Mike - what a gift you have for reaching some of us who would otherwise be left in the dark sometimes. May God richly bless you and protect you and your ministry always. - Laura Taylor

it is so easy for us to forget, 1 night i prayed for 1 saint's intercession in a particular area of my life, the next morning i got exactly what i had hoped for, yet the first thing i did was complain b/c things didn't turn out exactly as expected! gratitude is something we all need to practice daily. give thanks to GOD for each new day we get.
Funny thing is, today before I saw this, I had a thought today at work to get one of those pocket sized little spiral notebooks just to do that exact thing. Just to write down so i can remember. I'm going through a bit of a rough spot right now, and even if God is hidden in some ways, maybe He's trying to help me remember. Thank you, Father Mike.

I was not Catholic last year at this time. Very anti Catholic in fact. However I read John chapter 6 and began to weep! God revealed to me in that moment the Truth. Father Mike, I don't usually write comments, but had to make an exception for this! So I was feeling down today, but your video popped up as a recommendation. I listened closely, and as always, your words lifted my spirits!!!! But you know what blew my mind next?!?! I decided to take your advice on keeping a journal and writing down how God speaks to us and to remember all the wonderful things He does for us. And guess what? I found this small notebook that my brother gave me from World Youth Day. To my surprise, when I picked it up, I didn't recall it was from the Sanctuary of Fatima! 🤯🤯🤯I was in shock when I saw the cover, given that you spoke about the couple telling everyone about the miracle of Our Lady Fatima!!!!! My heart was filled with extreme joy, and I forgot all about what was bothering me earlier!!!! This moment was so special to me, and I can't wait to share it with everyone I know. I'll remember it forever!!! Thanks for being such an inspiration! 🙏✝❣
Thank you for reminding me what God told me during a sleepless period last night when I was troubled by something. Clear as anything, I heard him tell me, "Then neither do I condemn you." I was reminded of when He said that during His life on earth, and I could accept that blessing instantly. It was a great relief. Now it is in my gratitude journal. Thank you!

Totally agree!! My journaling is I write songs… then I go back and can sing them when I am having hard times… works well for me and helps me remember those messages and signs of God’s love for me.

It is so humbling how our Lord and our Lady are taking care of me. I have read and watched videos of the Miracle of Fatima. Why couldn't I see the miracle from the perspective that Fr. Mike just offered? When you are wet and cold to the bone, you are miserable and out of sorts. It took the sun (Almighty God working through our Lady) to bring warmth and happiness and a sense of purpose to the people. Thanks Fr Mike for leading many to the Lord.
One time I was so stressed out I felt like anything would make me snap. I was taking the train home in Chicago and couldn't figure out what code to type in for my stop (there was about 20). I guessed the code and got it right. I think that was God having mercy on me.
Feb 24, 2022.. the was last day I saw and talked with my 2 daughters. I then took early retirement, sold my home, and gave everything I owned away to pay family debts. Everything given away but a single firearm and a magazine of ammo. I was at church, praying for forgiveness from the Lord of what I was about to do, to end my life. I was going to walk out, drive into the desert, and end it. While praying in church, before the cross, with tears in my eyes, I closed my eyes. That's when I noticed I saw my hands and arms as if my eyes were open. Everything was dark but my hands. It's not as I was imagining my hands. I saw them. I could count the hairs on the back, and turned my hands and can trace the lines on the palms. I opened my eyes, and it was all normal. I closed my eyes again, and yet again, I could see my hands as if my eyes were open. Just my hands and arms, and they were glowing white from the inside. Everything else black, but my hands and arms. This was for a minute or so. A peace settled on me, I did not freak out, or even surprised. I simply thanked God for being with me. Since then, over a year ago, God has placed me in places where I helped people. In the most random places in the desert. I meet strangers who needed help. I've also meet so many friends and talked to so many who needed someone to lean on. I'm semi-homeless, I made only $12k last year from my pension, and yet every night, I have a warm bed to sleep on, a roof over my head for shelter, and food in my belly. I don't have a residential address, but God finds a place for me to lay my head every single night, and I thank Him every morning, during the day, and before I sleep. He is with me every second, and I remember that day he revealed himself to me.
I am taking notes on the Bible and the Catechism in a year. I also am writing my stories about my parents, grandparents, and everyone else who has been part of my life. I am also collecting stories about my late husband, so when I have grandchildren they can know something about their grandfather. I challenge everyone who reads this comment to collect their stories because those who come after you will want those stories - especially after you're gone.
There are so many times God has had His hand in my life that it was impossible to think otherwise. From the births of my kids, the way my career has panned out, even to my spouse being hospitalized with bi-polar. Many of them I realize and recollect on them even now. (yay me) yet someone mentioned in the comments they forget every-time they sin. I know Fr Mike has done a fair amount of videos on sin/confession. Growing up when we were in elementary school there were occasions where they whole class would be lined up to go to confession, if we couldn't think of any sins to confess, we would make some up because we didn't want to waste Father's time. Our understanding on the sacrament wasn't mature, but vestiges of that still sticks around. I don't think I have mortal sins atm, but I'm never sure - Is there something I forgot?? I remember one time driving and praying and crying. My under one yr old daughter was in the car, my spouse was in the hospital (bi-polar again) and I was tired. There were also a 3yr old and 6 yr old at home. I remember thinking "God, its enough for me that You are aware of my situation." That itself was enough - yet another time God did something for me - He reminded me He was close. Thank You Father Mike. There are times He was active in my life that I'll never know while on this earth. Why did I get caught by that traffic light? What was up ahead that I wouldn't have missed had I not been stopped?
Thank you for reminding me of how easily I forget the journey that placed me here for such a time as this. God bless and protect you and all priests and shepherds of the incarnate word. Praise be to God.

I absolutely love Fr.Mike, always so loving, encouraging and full of enthusiasm. I have no doubt he will bring countless souls to Heaven. God protect and bless him always.🙏🏾❤️ I REALLY need this. This beginning of 2024 has really been a struggle, especially in bed at night, I am so quick to forget how God has rescued me in the past. I have the nerve to be impatient and angry at God even though my current situation is mostly my fault. I shouldn’t be, but I am surprised at my ingratitude and how quick I am to betray Jesus in my thoughts and actions.
God has helped me through countless scenarios and recently, He helped me and my unborn child through a small scare. I do ask that everyone prays for both of us that we remain under God's protection and care throughout the rest of my pregnancy. ❤

Yes! Thank you for this important reminder. Keeping a journal on how the Lord has spoken to me, done in my life, placed in my heart, has been priceless.💕Writing them down has been such a blessing that at times when not that upbeat, the Lord has led me back to the journal and opened it (randomly) only to find out that it is exactly what I needed to be reminded of that day for that very moment. Thanks be to God 🙏🏻❤️. I highly encourage everyone to start one, writing down the Bible verses that stood out and spoke to you on that day, His goodness, what He has done in your life giving Him thanks, and more. ❤️
I have and I thank God for everything that he has given me. But sometimes I get angry over people that are more successful than me, but God in his hands and will make me succeed in everything
Thank you Padre. God is real in my life and He shows up for me in a thousand different ways. I am suffering from glaucoma and had a surgery a week ago. God has been with me through it all abd I am a living testimony of His presence!!!

The older I get the more I come to appreciate those things that could have happened, in some cases probably should have happened, but didn't happen to me. It's too much to be written off as dumb luck. God, through my Guardian Angel, has blessed me far more than I deserve. To me, that is a miracle. Miracles happen every day, all around us, we just have to be aware of them.

My Mom often tells the story of her grandfather being present for the Fatima miracle.🙏🏻 We have both experienced many miracles in our own lives.

Amen!!!! Lord I remember daily of your blessings through this storm! I am far from perfect, yet each night that I lay down I see the blessing you gave me to finish living one more day, each morning I wake up I see the blessing you are giving me for allowing me to wake up and see my kids. As a mother of two little ones and recently diagnosed with cancer, I can say our almighty Lord has opened my eyes to see all the blessings, even the rainy days, I thank Him for the water, days of pain I thank Him for his sacrifice in the cross, as my cancer treatment pain is nothing compared to His pain in the cross! Lord, for this reason I will never ask you “why me? Why cancer diagnoses?”, because I know you are working in me! All glory to you Lord!
I ordered and just received my book delivered. It is called DON’T FORGET TO REMEMBER, a child’s board book by Ellie Holcomb. I read this delightful book where God reminds us that all He created is because He loves us. And then I immediately found this message. It’s a double-whammy for me today! Jesus, I don’t ever want to forget to remember You and the beauty of all of your Creation, including all those You give me to love. God bless and protect YOU, Fr Mike!
This video just came up on its own while I was away from my computer but could still hear it and was upset. I can't describe how perfectly this fits my current situation as I am feeling so down at this time. But just the other day I did have a miracle - I prayed the prayers of the Mother of Perpetual help - to Mother Mary. We are in a freeze and were without power - just as I completed prayers - within a couple seconds the power turned on as I had asked for her intercession and help and was granted the help. The next day - my precious little hummingbird that visited my porch froze to death despite my best efforts and really punched me in the gut - I was so down as I found her frozen underneath a shrub. I live alone and often the hummingbirds are my greatest little companions - so it did punch me in the gut. I felt like God took away his love but this really helped remind me that is not true and I feel it is not an accident is presented itself and I heard the message. Thank you Fr. Mike - what a gift you have for reaching some of us who would otherwise be left in the dark sometimes. May God richly bless you and protect you and your ministry always. - Laura Taylor

it is so easy for us to forget, 1 night i prayed for 1 saint's intercession in a particular area of my life, the next morning i got exactly what i had hoped for, yet the first thing i did was complain b/c things didn't turn out exactly as expected! gratitude is something we all need to practice daily. give thanks to GOD for each new day we get.
Funny thing is, today before I saw this, I had a thought today at work to get one of those pocket sized little spiral notebooks just to do that exact thing. Just to write down so i can remember. I'm going through a bit of a rough spot right now, and even if God is hidden in some ways, maybe He's trying to help me remember. Thank you, Father Mike.

I was not Catholic last year at this time. Very anti Catholic in fact. However I read John chapter 6 and began to weep! God revealed to me in that moment the Truth. That we are to receive Him as He commanded us, and nowhere could I receive Him but in the Catholic Church. Praying for you as you seek Him more deeply. Blessings my friend. 🙏🏼

Father Mike, I don't usually write comments, but had to make an exception for this! So I was feeling down today, but your video popped up as a recommendation. I listened closely, and as always, your words lifted my spirits!!!! But you know what blew my mind next?!?! I decided to take your advice on keeping a journal and writing down how God speaks to us and to remember all the wonderful things He does for us. And guess what? I found this small notebook that my brother gave me from World Youth Day. To my surprise, when I picked it up, I didn't recall it was from the Sanctuary of Fatima! 🤯🤯🤯I was in shock when I saw the cover, given that you spoke about the couple telling everyone about the miracle of Our Lady Fatima!!!!! My heart was filled with extreme joy, and I forgot all about what was bothering me earlier!!!! This moment was so special to me, and I can't wait to share it with everyone I know. I'll remember it forever!!! Thanks for being such an inspiration! 🙏✝❣

Thank you for reminding me what God told me during a sleepless period last night when I was troubled by something. Clear as anything, I heard him tell me, "Then neither do I condemn you." I was reminded of when He said that during His life on earth, and I could accept that blessing instantly. It was a great relief. Now it is in my gratitude journal. Thank you!

Praise be to Jesus! He has done so many marvelous things for me. And yet after a week or so I forget and I become doubtful of His Love. Sometimes I feel as though He resents me. Totally agree!! My journaling is I write songs… then I go back and can sing them when I am having hard times… works well for me and helps me remember those messages and signs of God’s love for me.
So encouraging per usual with you Fr. Mike!! I should not feel embarrassed about how my life turned out. The past year has been the most difficult time of my life. It is so humbling how our Lord and our Lady are taking care of me. It is an opportunity to share and glorify God with what He is doing in my life as difficult as it is yet all the sufferings only brought me closer to Him 🥹🙏🏼💙
I have read and watched videos of the Miracle of Fatima. Why couldn't I see the miracle from the perspective that Fr. Mike just offered? When you are wet and cold to the bone, you are miserable and out of sorts. It took the sun (Almighty God working through our Lady) to bring warmth and happiness and a sense of purpose to the people. Thanks Fr Mike for leading many to the Lord.

One time I was so stressed out I felt like anything would make me snap. I was taking the train home in Chicago and couldn't figure out what code to type in for my stop (there was about 20). I guessed the code and got it right. I think that was God having mercy on me.

Feb 24, 2022.. the was last day I saw and talked with my 2 daughters.
I then took early retirement, sold my home, and gave everything I owned away to pay family debts. Everything given away but a single firearm and a magazine of ammo. I was at church, praying for forgiveness from the Lord of what I was about to do, to end my life. I was going to walk out, drive into the desert, and end it. While praying in church, before the cross, with tears in my eyes, I closed my eyes. That's when I noticed I saw my hands and arms as if my eyes were open. Everything was dark but my hands. It's not as I was imagining my hands. I saw them. I could count the hairs on the back, and turned my hands and can trace the lines on the palms. I opened my eyes, and it was all normal. I closed my eyes again, and yet again, I could see my hands as if my eyes were open. Just my hands and arms, and they were glowing white from the inside. Everything else black, but my hands and arms. This was for a minute or so.
A peace settled on me, I did not freak out, or even surprised. I simply thanked God for being with me.
Since then, over a year ago, God has placed me in places where I helped people. In the most random places in the desert. I meet strangers who needed help. I've also meet so many friends and talked to so many who needed someone to lean on.
I'm semi-homeless, I made only $12k last year from my pension, and yet every night, I have a warm bed to sleep on, a roof over my head for shelter, and food in my belly. I don't have a residential address, but God finds a place for me to lay my head every single night, and I thank Him every morning, during the day, and before I sleep. He is with me every second, and I remember that day he revealed himself to me.
🙏 The only reason I have hope is thanks to what the Lord did for me too.
As a witness to many things. I wish I had more avenues to talk about them
I am taking notes on the Bible and the Catechism in a year. I also am writing my stories about my parents, grandparents, and everyone else who has been part of my life. I am also collecting stories about my late husband, so when I have grandchildren they can know something about their grandfather. I challenge everyone who reads this comment to collect their stories because those who come after you will want those stories - especially after you're gone.

There are so many times God has had His hand in my life that it was impossible to think otherwise. From the births of my kids, the way my career has panned out, even to my spouse being hospitalized with bi-polar. Many of them I realize and recollect on them even now. (yay me) yet someone mentioned in the comments they forget every-time they sin. I know Fr Mike has done a fair amount of videos on sin/confession. Growing up when we were in elementary school there were occasions where they whole class would be lined up to go to confession, if we couldn't think of any sins to confess, we would make some up because we didn't want to waste Father's time. Our understanding on the sacrament wasn't mature, but vestiges of that still sticks around. I don't think I have mortal sins atm, but I'm never sure - Is there something I forgot??
I remember one time driving and praying and crying. My under one yr old daughter was in the car, my spouse was in the hospital (bi-polar again) and I was tired. There were also a 3yr old and 6 yr old at home. I remember thinking "God, its enough for me that You are aware of my situation." That itself was enough - yet another time God did something for me - He reminded me He was close. Thank You Father Mike.
There are times He was active in my life that I'll never know while on this earth. Why did I get caught by that traffic light? What was up ahead that I wouldn't have missed had I not been stopped?

I REALLY need this. This beginning of 2024 has really been a struggle, especially in bed at night, I am so quick to forget how God has rescued me in the past. I have the nerve to be impatient and angry at God even though my current situation is mostly my fault. I shouldn’t be, but I am surprised at my ingratitude and how quick I am to betray Jesus in my thoughts and actions.
God has helped me through countless scenarios and recently, He helped me and my unborn child through a small scare. I do ask that everyone prays for both of us that we remain under God's protection and care throughout the rest of my pregnancy. ❤

Every day thousands of unborn children die no matter what gods they pray to or how hard they pray. Do you know at what point the dying rate of unborn children dropped? Modern medicine and doctors.
If you had problems in your pregnancy, wasn´t it your god who gave you that?
Wouldn´t you agree that it is extremely arrogant, selfish, and ignorant to believe that the creator of the universe made a break from giving aids and ebola to starving helpless children only to help you during your pregnancy?

Yes! Thank you for this important reminder. Keeping a journal on how the Lord has spoken to me, done in my life, placed in my heart, has been priceless.💕Writing them down has been such a blessing that at times when not that upbeat, the Lord has led me back to the journal and opened it (randomly) only to find out that it is exactly what I needed to be reminded of that day for that very moment. Thanks be to God 🙏🏻❤️. I highly encourage everyone to start one, writing down the Bible verses that stood out and spoke to you on that day, His goodness, what He has done in your life giving Him thanks, and more. ❤️
I have and I thank God for everything that he has given me. But sometimes I get angry over people that are more successful than me, but God in his hands and will make me succeed in everything

The older I get the more I come to appreciate those things that could have happened, in some cases probably should have happened, but didn't happen to me. It's too much to be written off as dumb luck. God, through my Guardian Angel, has blessed me far more than I deserve. To me, that is a miracle. Miracles happen every day, all around us, we just have to be aware of them.
