Great tutorial, helped me install my woodcraft gp rearsets on my triumph Daytona 675. Woodcraft top quality stuff. You guys make great videos as well as sell great motorcycle parts
Thank you STG! Just got done installing these and wow. All I was expecting was a batter position and an aesthetically good looking piece, but they change the whole way the bike shifts. I feel like I'm shifting in milliseconds like butter now! Just ordered a Rear Ohlins shock from you guys' as well, can't wait to pair the two :)
had to put a hold in changing my rearsets I just tired and the bolts holding the master cylinder are stuck on there to the point the allen key is eating the bolts going to have to go to a mechanic and see if they can drill them out for me and do it
The bolts are soft. Grab a drill and drill the head off the bolt. Once you have drilled them both you should be able to remove them with vise grips. - Van
Sportbike Track Gear thank you! You guys have a great channel and great website. Thanks for everything yall do and the knowledge you put forth to the entire riding community!!
I have never installed a phone holder on a bike, sorry. Take a look at the Ram Mounts product line. They have a ton of cool shit for projects like that. - Van
+Sportbike Track Gear, I have a little doubt offtopic. Could the R3 benefict if i lower the handlebar on the suspension in 1 cm? (sorry i don't know how to convert to inches)
+Paulo Silva Depending on what you are using it for. They design the motorcycles ergonomically so that it best suits all riders right out of the factory!
+Martin Judd It all depends on the shift pattern you are looking for. I like to use the GP shift (reverse from standard 1 down 5 up) so I would need to install the knuckle this way.
+Sportbike Track Gear Thanks for the reply, I am very new to bikes, as in I am just about to get my first one. I am looking very closely at the 3 usual suspects. But at this stage the R3 is in front. Your how to vids are definitely helping the case for the R3. Keep up the great work.
the instructions paperwork from woodcraft says the spacer is NOT for standard and the video says the spacer IS for standard shifting.. can someone please clarify ?
Sportbike Track Gear thanks for your reply! around 30/31 minute mark when the GP shift rod is being installed, the video mentions a spacer supplied by woodcraft. the video says it's for use only with standard shift but the instructions provided by woodcraft say it's for use with GP... my husband called woodcraft and confirmed it is for use with GP, not for standard. hope this helps for others in the future. thanks again for your response!!
what's up STG! Greeeeat channel, really enjoy your videos! What's the chance of getting an aftermarket clip on vid? the biggest mods i want to make were rear sets and clip ons 👌
The stock bolts can round off easily on the heel guards I assume that is what happened to you. Get a set of standard allen sockets and try to drive the closest size into the head of the bolt with a hammer (use care of course). If you are able to get a nice tight fit make sure you put pressure on the head of the ratchet before you try to break the bolt loose so you do not strip it again. As always if you are not comfortable doing this take it in to a proper motorcycle shop. - Brian Van
This bike takes the same kit as the 1299, we have them listed for the 1299 (need to create a separate listing for the 959) and they 100% will fit the 959. Below are the links to both the standard and gp shift kits on our site: Woodcraft Ducati Panigale 1299 15-16 Rearsets GP Shift www.sportbiketrackgear.com/woodcraft-ducati-panigale-1299-15-16-rearsets-gp-shift/ Woodcraft Ducati Panigale 1299 15-16 Rearsets Standard Shift www.sportbiketrackgear.com/woodcraft-ducati-panigale-1299-15-16-rearsets-standard-shift/
Sportbike Track Gear I thank you for your input . I have already purchased them. I am with Eric Wood and in his learn to fly program with Penguin Racing school. They have a hell of a program for discounts. Where are you located? Maybe you can talk to him about being on his list of businesses that he promotes through his programs?
We are one of the largest dealers Woodcraft has and proud to offer their stuff for sure. I think we have been working with them for about 12 years now with many more ahead of us! Enjoy the rearsets, Woodcraft has some of the best out there IMO. - Van
I watch this as a mt03 owner. Bike is same in a lot of ways and badass in others but I am feeling the rearset jump!

hey body do have for suzuki raider150.?
could you do a rearsets video on mt09
Are these the best on the market?
Woodcraft is one of the best brands on the market for sure. - Van
Why is it called "REARSET"? What is a frontset? I'm new to this terminology....
Good question, I will have to investigate. - Van
Do you not have to bleed the brakes with these?
No need to bleed the brakes when installing these rearsets. - Van
@@sportbiketrackgear what about the rear brake light, it'll still work with these resets and I don't need to get an additional pieces?
the rearset relocation brackets is ok to use for the woodcraft rearsets?
Should work just fine!

+Sportbike Track Gear could it affect too much the geometry of the bike? that's my fear...
It absolutely could. I am not sure how exactly it would affect the motorcycle, it could very easily make the motorcycle operate worse.
At 29:31 isn't the shift knuckle meant to be facing down?
+Martin Judd It all depends on the shift pattern you are looking for. I like to use the GP shift (reverse from standard 1 down 5 up) so I would need to install the knuckle this way.

Thanks!
So if I want to keep the normal shift pattern I turn the knuckle the way I took it off
is it mandatory to put the heel guards back on? or is it safe to not use them. i hate the look
The heel guard is attached to the footpeg bracket so it can't really be removed. Thanks for watching and I hope this was helpful!
Do these come in chrome like the original did?
+Taydiablo3 These are only available in the black finish. Thanks for the comment!
Thanks for the reply.
No problem!
the instructions paperwork from woodcraft says the spacer is NOT for standard and the video says the spacer IS for standard shifting.. can someone please clarify ?
+Jeni Perkins Which spacer are you referring to and I will try to find out! -Dalton

What is gp shifting
GP Shift is when you upshift the bike by pushing down on the shift pedal instead of lifting up. This is a great mod for a track only bike. - Van
what's up STG! Greeeeat channel, really enjoy your videos!

+Chad Ober We have some Woodcraft clip-ons going on the bike very soon!
+Sportbike Track Gear oh man, excellent!! Definitely excited for this ✌
We are too!
