I usually figure 40% of rated rms for power acoustik. It's usually close. 1200 for $150 is a little steep for what's presented. But they'll sell to the naiive.
I fully agree. With other companies giving you more watt per dollar, I would pass. It is a cool heat sink design, but looks aren't that important. 👍

For side note what if someone put a LRAD speakers in a car? Some of those can be heard 10000 feet away. Think they are used for security or military weapon use. Ever heard of them? Kind of like what was used in Incredible Hulk movie

Thank you so much for doing the certified numbers. Totally agree if these companies would rate properly they would sell more and for sure long term gain customers. Now people buy and find out they were lied to and never buy their products again.

I am sorry to tell you that it will not change anything but the bashing, maybe.
Brands like these do quite well in the financial expect of the market.
Most of the major Brands has notice this trend and offer a watered down series to tap into this market.
I agree that it would be better for it's users if they change their marketing exploits.
The products are sound and I have sold and installed them forvdecade but the true problem is that it does not have a dealers protection and can be purchased online at a price close to its wholesale pricing which leads to a no or very low profits for a dealer.
This is truly why it and others like it are bashed.
I ran two bamf series in my dually on six Rockford p3s it rocked cant remember think it was the 5500?? They were linked?? But again for the money it beat!!! Later I had only the two p3s in a console with two jl 500s slash series it was ridiculous I almost think the two worked better than six! Just one of my better service ups..now in my caddy I have a Rockford 1000 anniversary series running the entire system again two p3s by the way 12s and it ROCKS!!! last I have six inch American bass subs that kick ass...on a small American bass mono block youd be surprised at the sound?

It does look cool
at 1200w pulling about 120amps, over 15-20 feet, good OFC 4 gauge is plenty for power
Its a great looking good value amp but like PA’s tower design, I question its longevity under use. Putting what is already a smallish heatsink against a mounting surface is going to make it run hotter than a standard design amp.
Those square power acoustik amps like the one I tested a while back were not the greatest. This amp is way better than those as far as build quality for sure.
I think you should run the test with just the 8awg wire to see how much of a difference between that and using the 4 to 8 reducers.
It would not make a difference with only three or four foot length 8 gauge ofc can easily support the amp draw . Now if the wire was 10 ft or longer it would start to make a difference

That should be advertised as a 1k RMS 1500 dynamic amp and u could prolly wire it low to .5 and get 2k RMS 2400 dynamic according to the board layout those transformers and chokes was made for high output way more than the dyno results I suspect the power supply side is weak .

@@msh6865 lol almost all power acoustic amps are made in Korea and have been for a long long time . Made in Korea does not make it a better amp.
This amp is exactly what's wrong with car audio. The same kind of people show me crunch 4ks and say they are better than Rockford T1500s.

Looks very generic. Super cheap everything. Single 8 gauge power and ground for 7500 watts? I own 3 7500 watt amps. All 3 have triple 1/0 power and ground. I haven’t watched the video yet, but I’m guessing this is maybe a 2000 watt amp.
