Hi Grim, I'm watching your DCS videos. I love flying French fighter Mirage 2000. I have model 2 years, now after a year again fly. Your videos help me a lot. Mainly also in menu settings. You do a lot of work for DCS pilots. I'm from Czech Republic. Small English. That's why the example setup sample from you... is very cool. In 14 days, I learned and corrected what I hadn't known about the Mirage 2000 fighter or my use of the Mirage DCS features. I repeat Thanks a lot. Edward.

Ccrp is bugged, has been for a long time. Will always overshoot. Suspected parrallax issue with the hud. Best you can do is use the top of the diamond to designate.
Just in the Mirage? or all CCRP across the board. I haven't flown since the Huey came out.

@@Samuraid77 I learned "lase the tracks - not the tank" in the A-10 but this problem isn't that problem. I hope they fix it.

@Grim Reapers why is the Mirage 2000C in these videos the older version of the plane with the countermeasures box to the left, and without the strip on the right side or the NVG holder on the left?
Just re-sampled old vids and updated them with the new controls
I think the top of the diamond is the target bit, ie. Get the top tip of the diamond on target and designate. Read that on hoggit, or on the ed forums

Hey cap on the left side of the cockpit next to the clock and ins waypoint +/- button what is that box? I dont have that in the mirage when I fly it. Just curious
They recently added it to increment/decrement waypoints easier.

Hello, This is not complete...how do you spot....how do programm the JTAC....?
The hud axis is wrong, so the bombs overshoot.
Aim a little lower, just at the bottom of the target and you should do fine.
I love the Mirage, but they really need to finish their work, it still feels pre-release or worse in some aspects.

mig 29 variants. su 27, j 11 and su 33 are the only ones capable of cobra

Hey, is 32gb of RAM necessary for playing online ? Or is 16 enough ?
Also, which module would you guys recommend me to get ? I don't have the money and time to purchase and master several modules so a single polyvalent plane would be great (i wanna be able to do air to air and air to ground). Thanks !
16 should work, but the more RAM the merrier, especially for DCS.
I know you're probably wanting for an answer from Cap, but here's my recommendation. F-18 is pretty much the jack of all trades craft in DCS world. F-16 also does pretty much everything, but is less finished at the moment and cannot land on carriers.
F-14 is also a jack of all trades, but is older and a bit more challenging, but has two seats so is great fun for buddying up with a friend.
Arriving lately is also the asian JF-17. It also does pretty much everything and is more feature complete in some aspects than the F-18 and F-16. It isn't quite as graphically polished though and also cannot use carriers and some of its layouts and functions are "unconventional" if you are used to western aircraft.
TLDR; I'd probably go for the F-18.

I knew the F 18 was THE one, but I find it expensive since in addition to the previously mentioned ssd and ram, I will also have to buy hotas, and if im not yet ruined, a track ir. My vote would be JF-17. It is an awesome little jet and can do AA and AG it has a nice T pod and AG radar. It has the best MFDs in any module and is easy to learn. Its also very complete.
