What is the name of the ringtone?
I got 3 testers and the rest 20 are originals. Two of the testers are Chloe EDP and Cartier's Baiser Vole. My Chloe EDP in tester bottle went expired so quickly and became the first one to go off from my collection. My Baiser Vole in tester bottle also faded a little bit, I usually got blooming Lily out of this and now it's getting subtler. The rest 20 originals just went fine. IMO, I think it's also a matter of care and storage for the testers that made it went off quite quicker compared to the originals.

I once tested ultramale at the store and really liked it so i bought it. But when the one i purchased smelled completely different. I didnt like it at all, very dissapointed, but i hate going back to the store to return things so i just kept it.
Eventually i ended up liking the smell so i guess it worked out in the end, but still doesnt explain why it smelled different from the tester at the store
you probably sprayed it on a paper and then your skin, maybe the reason why it smells different.
I can smell a lil bit of piss in ultramale, not kidding 😂. But after the drydown it smells kinda good. But still a nope for me.
You probably buying the fake one, but when come to tester they put the original. This happen a lot unless you buy from official store

Samples definitely are stronger. I have always noticed the bottle doesnt perform like the sample. Maybe testers are better too sometimes, i suspect.

No. I think many testers are different than what you buy ...the Chanel Chance eau Tendre EDP Tester it was peach colored and lasted weeks in my blouse from 2 sprays. The one I purchased was a light pink color and lasted about 1 hour with several sprays and had a less sweet scent than the tester.
I think that you may have bought the EDT. It's pale pink,and, less sweet than the EDP.
I agree with melissa U prob bought the EDT usually less sweet than EDP

Hi jeremy, from Italy. I usually buy testers because of their lower costs. But there is always a doubt about how can you be so sure that the tester is an "original" fragrance? (I don't know if the question is understandable...) I know about fake testers that people sell as originals (you can notice it by minimal details on the bottles...) would you give any advice to someone who wants to buy testers but they are unsure if it is an original one or a fake one? I usually "study" how the original bottle is before buying the tester

If smell is different that means it’s a fake tester. I bought a Sauvage( tester) the juice was 90% Blue chanel.
I’ve received a tester (Pegasus via the discovery set) and decided to purchase the full bottle (125 ml) and was so happy to receive the full bottle sprayed it on myself and was very torn, the smell was very 2D. The full bottle was lacking… it had the quality’s of the tester but it was very lackluster had an opening smell of alcohol and after a couple minutes was very powdery/vanilla the smell compared to my tester, Which I sprayed on my other wrist which was a much more sweet, bitter and Feminine smell with the vanilla mixing in a more homogenous smell (the vanilla wasn’t a dominant note)
Just got a Lalique tester for like 75% off the original. Watching this video made me feel more comfortable

Great video! I typically will buy a cologne I really like (with cap) and I will buy testers as my "back up" for when a bottle runs out. I just toss the bottle and keep the cap for the tester bottle!

They would never make that many testers at first place like 1 million as they don’t retail it. They put perfumes in these white boxes for identification and to control misuse of original perfumes. They are specifically produced for different retail stores for customers testing only and these comes with tag “not for sale”

Jeremy really loves Dolce and Gabbana Light Blue Intense, I just unboxed mine yesterday but it smells like boiled eggs on me🥴 I think I should have bought the she version, I will try it agsin in the summer, maybe I'll get better results but if not I'll give it away and I'm going to keep wearing my Dolce and Gabbana pour homme instead, which I love.

I have this debate with people over and over again. There is always someone who is absolutely persistent about testers being different 🤦🏻♀️
listen, It would actually make companies lost money... imagine every single perfume having two different making processes, more people to employ, different places to manufacture it so it won't mix ... very ineffective... they just take a certain percentage of the batch and pack it as tester, sometimes without the lid.
And if you think your perfume is not what it used to be, there are two only possibilities what happened-1. Perfume was reformulated (happens all the time) and 2. When you smell the tester in the store, it's something new for your nose and you actually smell it longer. Then you buy it and your nose gets used to the smell.

I bought a few testers and yeah they don't come with the presentation that you would normally get with a regular purchase like the bottle cap or a leather bag or the special cute little box with mirrors and gold print and stuff on it and you can save like 20-50%..

I’ve had the opposite experience most are sharing. Tried a CH Good Girl tester on my skin & it lasted about a half hour. Got it anyway and the purchased bottle sprayed on my skin lasted hours.

Been getting testers for years literally no difference all you doing is paying more for the box and if you wanna pay more for a box go ahead it’s ur money. I wouldn’t recommend buying testers online tho buy it in person.

No shame in buying testers. Have at least 6 testers amongst my 25 bottle collection. Got a 4 oz tester of Green Irish Tweed for $180. Smells as epic as the sample vial I bought before it.
