- Welcome back to some more Max Payne 3. I decided to boot up this game again and play a bit, I was dying for some awesome gunplay from one of my favorite games made by Rockstar. Yes it was/is very underrated
Imo,I honestly don't want one,not because I hate the game but I want Max to have a great happy life and have the good ending he deserved.
His three games are filled with mental torture and depressing bad moments and I just don't want to see him suffer any more.let the man have his rest.
I'd love to play a similar game takes place in the same max Payne universe though...entirely new story and new protagonist.the entire franchise is an underrated gem

Max payne is anything john wick heck its even the exact opposite. John wick uses corect shooting postures always holds with both hands never shoot from hip or while jumping falling flying or diving and never dual wields. Mayx payne is as far from realistic shooting as one can be joh wick is most realistic shooting anyone has ever done in movie industry.
Gameplay mechanics better than gta and red dead. This game has the best gunplay out of all the rockstar games.
Of course they are. In fact, this gun mechanics are far better than any Naughty Dog game, which makes only linear games.

I’d argue to say that it has the best ending for the protagonist out of all the other Rockstar games too.

Rockstar Games is Underrated Funny you should say that because MP3 is linear as hell. In fact, I'd argue it's more linear than Uncharted or The Last of Us with all of the cutscenes (some of which interrupt gameplay for no reason) and claustrophobic level design... not that it's bad.
Rockstar needs to make another max Payne game 🙏🏾🙏🏾

Max Payne bullet holes wounds and gun sounds are more realistic than GTA 5
its because gta 5 is a open world game and max payne has a linear style gameplay so its obvious there would be more detail .
we cannot compare both.
Try Red Dead Redemption 2’s bullet hole wounds and gun sounds
BlueCreeper Rdr2 has shitty gameplay. I love the game but its isnt as fun to play as max payne.

Nope. It's a bad, constricte cover shooter. It doesn't hold a handle even to modern console third person shooters ( RE2, Control ), let alone real FPS games

Max Payne 3 is one of the best shooters ever released for me.The animation,the story,the writing,the voice acting and the atmosphere are top notch all around.It's one of the best Rockstar games and its one one of the few games in my life that i've finished 3 times.One part of me wishes for a sequel while another wants max to live a tranquil life after all this hell he has earned it with his blood and his addictions throughout the years.
Yes it should stay how it ended. Max went threw more hell in one lifetime then needed. But I wouldn't mind a prequal or a remaster of one and two with these graphic and gameplay.
They shouldn't make a sequel but they definitely should either remaster first 2 games (maybe even 3rd too) or make a game that isnt a sequel (it takes place between first 2 games or something like that)

Honestly I think Max Payne 3 is a good conclusion, idk about making more max payne games, however a John Wick with the same engine as this game (upgraded obviously) would make a killing for rockstar.
Remake 1&2 with upgraded tech, remaster 3, add some challenge modes or an infinite mode, then do 4, or of course John Wick makes sense, in fact I'm shocked it hasn't happened yet
I miss these dense well designed stage mission type games such as max pyne 3, splinter cell blacklist, and ghost recon future soldier. I got bored with open world games filled with unlock items, skills, maps and destination points for repetitive tasks.
Dude Splinter cell, Max Payne, Hitman Blood Money, Ghost recon future soldier, Assassins creed 1-6 was the shit and still to this day these games with beat any other games ass

4:46 - One of my favorite scenes in the game! So cool when the smoke grenades go off, and you can see their lasers seeking you. The enemies here are also programmed to sometimes do some kind of "circular step dance" thing to avoid being shot when they move across the room, hard to explain, but it seems to be a smart thing to do, and makes me suspect that trained forces do that irl
It's frustrating to seeing them dodging our shots but felt satisfying when we hit them lol
This game had the best gunplay and ragdoll physics. Was way ahead of its time.

The reason this game looks so good is because of the dynamic physics and animation engine, along with the bullet holes which are quite satisfying. The game very impressively calculates the animations based on your shot placement. This includes the entire slow-mo shot and the manner in which the model will fall. The physics are very, very detailed, and very few games if any have gone to this extent to make things look like a real action movie. This attention to detail will always be impressive, regardless of when the game came out.
I like how the haired max Payne video says Satisfying while Bald Max Payne video says Epic as if the new Max knows he’s Epic

Max Payne 3 is literally the only videogame that utilizes the left hand for carrying a two handed weapon instead of putting it on their back. That's how this game ages so beautifully.

Usually I don't like series based of on video games but if we could get Max Payne series that would be great, a bit similar like The Wire and Omar, where the bad guys say Max is coming.
