Great to have found a YT instructor who is focused on passive release consistently. It means no conflicting videos and it all aligns to my current swing. Thank you for taking the time. In your videos on release you get lots of comments about pros having great forearm rotation on tv. I think they are confused. They just need to see this video where you are face on to see that you look exactly like the pros do on tv with a passive release after impact.

Good stuff. I was working on something yesterday comparable to this and watching this video helps solidify it. I am really trying to feel my swing build up speed as it goes on, instead of trying to go from 0-100 in the first millisecond of the downswing. Felt pretty good. I need help with using the bigger muscles of the body and not using my arms as much to swing. Thanks for all you do.

I just want to say how good you are... I follow / monitor quite a few online instructors and you are among the best. Congratulations! BTW... Somewhat independently of seeing this, yesterday I thought of this from a slightly different POV... the idea of maintaining left arm radius through the swing particular from shaft parallel on the downswing through to near the finish. To be honest, it involved seeing your excellent piece on Bryson a couple of days ago. Keep up the great work.

Hi thanks for this drill. Your other vidéo about rotating through opened my eyes and I clearly understand why I was struggling rotating my hips. Make so much sense that if we want to rotateur the hip and love forward, it is the Left hip that shall clear space the Right hips. This being said, about the extension: I am not a profession of health or whatever. Still we shall consider to be very carefull to no go to full extension, in locked position of the knee, to prévient sévère injuries due to cartilage wear. Thanks again.

Anatomically , rotation of the pelvis is dependent on the position of the left hip socket . And straightening the left femur( thigh bone ) is the key to this change of position of the left hip socket .How does the left femur straighten straighten ?VIA left hip external rotation , which will also rotate the left knee.
One caveat , most great ball strikers do not have their left leg straight at impact , but are in the process of straightening
    it.
I also notice that you flare out your left foot at setup. Doing so will help with left hip external rotation in the downswing and straightening of the left leg.

I think, as importantly, is that the left side move pulls the arm UP which speeds up the club through impact which may actually slow down the lateral move of the arm since it is moving up not laterally.

This is throw vs pull - based on what I've seen, one might argue neither is wrong/right, but a personal preference?? (shrug)
I'm right handed and find it VERY awkward to pull through the shot.. I don't feel like I throw either, sorta a neutral feeling really.. if that makes sense.

Chicken wing all day without rotating the forearms over. Thumbs up shaft parallel to ground in BS to thumbs up shaft parallel to ground in through swing. It's neither natural nor consistent holding off face rotation on full shots.
