Tom: Could you comment on the back leg during the follow through? That hair is looking good vs. your younger wild look. Would like to hear more guitar licks. Good work my man!
Tom do you still offer swing analysis? I see on your webpage that the school is access to pre-recorded stuff, just curious if you still check out uploaded videos and offer critique. Thank you.
Is it me or is your golf grip huge? Are you using oversized grips like Moe Norman and Bryson DeChambeau. Is that part of your teaching philosophy? I still have traditional size grips. Thanks

Ok, I tried this out on the course yesterday, keeping weight forward, hands in. Shot my lowest round of the year, 72. Back nine I had 3 birds for a 34. Never have hit my irons better in my life. I think I will keep doing it! Thanks for your fun videos.

Tom brought me from a +25 handicap 1.5 years ago to a 10+ handicap with zero coaching lessons. All self reps and Saguto golf videos! Stack and Tilt is amazing

About how long did it take you to perfect dreperez? Saguto thank you for the video absolutely reconstructed my whole swing and view of golf just trying to be more consistent now
Hit a bucket today off the mat to get this feeling, dropped ten balls in the fairway at the 150 stake and 9 of the ten hit the green with an 8 iron. One flew a little over, this was unthinkable 24 hrs ago. I’ve been playing 150 rounds a year for 20 years and have never felt so good about my strikes. I hope this carries over to the woods and driver. THANK YOU Tom!!!!!!!
That's awesome, Vince!! 💪💪 I'm very glad to know that this lesson performed well for you, and I sincerely appreciate you sharing your success with it. Excellent job incorporating it into your swing!! @John Miett - I’m using JumboMax Ultralite grips in extra-large. I wanted to give them a try for a few reasons, including the fact that DeChambeau uses them and we share similar swing philosophies. Since then, I haven't looked back. I personally love the feel as well as how they help to keep my hands quiet through the zone. Beyond that - and as they relate to grip pressure - the Jumbos are large enough that my fingertips don't wrap all the way around and press into my hands, which is a definite trigger of forearm tension for me in smaller grips. Having properly sized grips is critically important as they are our only connection to the object that is going to deliver us blissful joy or deep anguish, yet it is perhaps also the most overlooked equipment fitting component in golf.

I'm 72. Been trying to figure this into my swing. Little success so far, but some flashing of brilliance. Lol. Trying to teach an old dog new tricks is a slow go. But I'm not giving up. You'd think I'd have time to practice, but not so. Thanks, I've joined, and looking forward to a better swing.
Sounds good, Geraold. I see that you are a new member of my YT channel's Crispier Than KFC Club. That's great, and I hope you find the exclusive content - both new and archived - to be extremely helpful in your mission! And if by "joining" you are also referring to the online school and not just the YT channel membership, then be sure to start at the very beginning with the setup because that is going to provide you with the foundational elements that are necessary to fast-track your improvement through the step by step, position by position learning platform. Also, through the school you would still have access to the KFC Club channel member videos, so if you have not yet enrolled but are interested in doing so then there would be no need to maintain both memberships. Looking forward to hearing about your progress! Tom
I was hitting a 7 iron maybe 125 yds with my old swing (poor contact) now with the stack and tilt Im carrying my 7 iron 155. Its unbelievable how easy golf started to be for me. Every club gained 25 to 30 yds with this technique and Im at an 8 handicap down from 23 in less than a year. Keep it up Tom its made me a much more consistent ball striker. Love it!
Wow!! That is some seriously dramatic improvement, Kelly - well done!! 💪💪 Thanks so much for your support in sharing your success, keep it crispy, and have fun out there!! I just found your videos a few days ago and am I glad I did!!! Tried your method and wow what a change. I’m 70 years old and thought I couldn’t learn a new way to play this crazy game but I did. Thanks so much
Fantastic!! 💪💪 I'm very glad to know that my instruction is resonating with you; excellent job incorporating it into your swing and putting it into play!! By the way, I would be remiss if I didn't mention that a significant percentage of my online school members are in their 60's, 70's, and 80's - i.e.: a smorgasbord of chronic ailments, physical limitations, back/shoulder/knee/hip pain, arthritis, and joint replacements - and they are overwhelmingly elated to experience the dramatic pain-free game improvement, seemingly effortless power, and resulting enjoyment that this swing affords them. It all begins with a proper setup which provides for a free-flowing motion. Upon that good foundation a repeatable swing which produces consistently crispy impact can be built. Have you looked into the comprehensive, sequential learning platform of the online school yet? That's where - among many other courses and lessons covering various aspects of the game - you will find very detailed instruction and drills that take you through the entire swing step-by-step, position-by-position from setup to finish. Thousands of men and women from across the globe - including many accomplished, low-handicap, competitive players and spanning all age ranges from junior to super-senior - are now enjoying the best golf of their lives as a result, and I'm happy to let their unsolicited testimonials tell the story: saguto.golf/p/sagutogolfreviews. At just $14.99/month or $149.99 per year the value in terms of what you get for that price point is beyond comprehension, and based on proven results it represents by far the best golf instruction deal on the planet. And if you'd like to first "dip a toe in the water" prior to diving into the school, then here is a link to my FREE mini course “The Top 3 Things You Need to Be a Great Ball Striker”: go.saguto.golf/ That is where you can learn some key aspects of the swing system I teach in a more structured manner. As you are now aware based on your initial results, one does not need the flexibility of a Romanian gymnast - or even of this far less pliable golf instructor - to execute this swing, experience great ball striking, and reclaim - or even exceed - yardages from years past. I hope you'll give the school some thought and take your learning - and your game - to a new level! Thanks for sharing your improvement and keep up the great work! Tom
Tom this was a revelation to me! At 60 yrs old and coming to the game very late (late 40’s), following all the standard shift and timing, I never thought I’d be able to hit it sweet like this. Having spent so long with the old way I still struggle at times, but boy when it’s right it’s sooo good. Thank you. I wish I’d found this sooner. Been working on this for about a year and I believe this summer in the UK will be my best year in a very long time!

I hadn’t played this year and returned after an 8 week break. I’m off 14, I can hit but I’m inconsistent. Ive been using this method since late last year. I played medal and had 81 off the stick with a triple and two doubles when I let my swing get loose. I had 83 last weekend because I forgot how to putt, easy should have been 78. I’m breaking 80 for the first time this year and I know it. Thank you Tom.
@blackvulcan3 - What an awesome testimonial for the low-maintenance feature of this swing, right??!! Great playing, and based on those results I know you are breaking 80 much sooner than later this season.... 💪💪 Thanks for sharing your improvement, shore up that short game, and let us know when you achieve this milestone and are moving on to "Mission 75" as your next target objective!! Tom
Tom, this video has blown me away. I’d lost complete interest in golf having played previously for years. I had become so inconsistent as I hit 50 yo mostly with a massive ugly pull hook. I was 8 handicap when I was 18. I just gave up for 5 years as the enjoyment had gone. recently I had a go on the driving range to see if anything had changed. No. Took to RUclips and found this. Your vid from 00.45 until 3.30 was a revelation. Went back to the range - kept hands low avoiding the electric stick - weight on the front foot. I’ve been laughing ever since repeating “oh Tom” to myself. Absolute transformation. Even the driver - smashing them easily down the middle. Incredible !
That's awesome, Ian! 💪💪 I'm very glad to know that this lesson resonated so well with you; excellent job incorporating it into your swing so quickly. I finally gave in to giving your system a try cause I saw an old video of u with long hair, and you were more serious plus u mentioned no back issues which I've had many issues. Here is what happened. The backswing no issues, loved it, on the downswing if I only thought of turning my shoulders I hit good shots. When I thought of moving towards the target with my lower body I felt my weight moving to the rear, and also my shots went right and close to the hozle. Side note I'm a lefty. I want to pursue your system more and will see what happens with my swing and body issues.
This is actually crazy! I have been working on my swing for over a year (granted I don’t play often). I have watched thousands of RUclips videos and really struggled with my back swing, rotation and shallowing the club. That simple process off putting the weight forward has helped put all those things together. Such an easy change which has helped hugely. Thank you

Sup Tom Rudd!? So I saw this video as I'm getting back into the game. Go to a lesson. Lo and behold, the pro strips my swing to nothing and gives me very much the same advice you give in this video. I'm stacking that weight now and consistency has greatly improved. My misses are so much better from this. In fact, my misses now are from NOT keeping that weight still. So thanks so much again. Love the content. This move is perfect for us high handicappers. Cheers.

The techniques you are teaching have made the golf swing so much easier to repeat. We are all searching for “consistency” in our golf swing, but all the different variables we introduce make it almost impossible to be consistent. Shift weight to back leg, bring arms up, shift weight back to front leg, shallow the club, etc. etc. etc. How the heck do we do that exactly the same way every time, and in a period of one second. My strikes are so much better than they have ever been. I’m no longer doing big 20-30 yard draws with my irons and no longer hitting outside in with my driver. My irons a small controllable draw and I’m hitting draws with my driver. I seriously can’t believe that my miss with the driver is now to the left instead of a big slicing miss to the right. Thanks for all your videos Tom. They are educational and the humour makes watching them fun. I signed up for your program and started from the beginning to basically relearn how to golf. Keep them coming.
@Dao Le - That is fantastic!! I'm thrilled for your dramatic improvement!! This powerful, consistent, body-friendly swing system is designed to provide a lifetime of blissful ball striking, including at the game's most elite levels. You've obviously done an excellent job working sequentially through the program to build and take ownership of your repeatable motion and the beautiful push-draw ball flight it produces. Thanks so much for your support in sharing your success with it through the online school and keep up the great work!! Tom
My game was ok but i struggled with a bad back. Someone told me to take a look at the stack and tilt. 6 months a go I made a 6 video playlist from your videos. I am now ripping the golf ball, scores come way down. No more back pain the day after a round...Thanks Fella 👍....just a shame I cant putt lol, sure my ball is scared of the dark 😫
That's AWESOME!! I'm thrilled for your dramatic and body-friendly improvement!! 💪💪 Putting is the "great equalizer" and it can be mastered by anyone of any skill level who wishes to put in the effort. However, it tends to be about the last thing most of us want to practice because, well, where's the fun in that?.... 😎 Now that you're striping it, maybe you can put in some time each session to help cure the ball of its fear? Anyway, thanks so much for your support in sharing your progress and keep up the great work!! Tom
Tom your swing methods have really changed my game. I recommend anyone who wants to improve their game, not just the full shot but chips, pitches, putting, etc. to purchase an annual subscription to your instruction site. It's the best $99 you can invest in your golf game. And congratulations on your co-branding with Kentucky Fried Chicken. I get quite a kick out of seeing your face on every bucket of chicken I buy.
Thanks so much for your kind words and your testimonial for the online school, Bob - I'm very glad to know that you are benefiting from the instruction and enjoying this great game more as a result; that is ultimately what this is all about. I did my best to price the school at a "no-brainer" level given the quality and effectiveness of the delivered product, and I sincerely appreciate you recognizing that and taking the time to "shout it from the rooftop"!! Thanks again, keep up the great work, and keep it crispy!! Tom PS: Has The Colonel finally signed off on that bucket thing? It's sure taken him a while..... 😆
Love it, Tom. I’ve been using this technique ever since I started watching you over a year ago. You’ve always preached this weight forward hand back swing and I have now adapted this process. I can now even use my front leg to spring up out of my swing to add even more power. Love your stuff Tom. Keep being you.
That's fantastic, Peter!! And yes - that "jumping up" move is very powerful - excellent job incorporating that into your swing. I'm 29 years old and just recently started golfing. Total newbie. I'd been to a range 5 times and Top Golf a few times as well. I have power, but could never find any sort of consistency or rhythm with my shots. Slicing, hooking, thinning, missing the ball entirely; it was beyond frustrating. I was considering taking lessons, but figured I'd start with some instructional videos first. I found this video last night and was so stoked to try it out, I hit the range right at 6AM this morning... And let me tell you, it was a NIGHT and DAY difference. Hit a large bucket of balls in 75 minutes and I must've had a 95% contact rate. Not only that, but my shots were straight and crisp. The ball was going right where I wanted it to. It wasn't an absolutely perfect day and I have a ton of practice left to go, but I will say that this lesson saved my interest in golf 100%.
That is *AWESOME,* Taylor!! Welcome to this great game, and thanks so much for sharing your practice success with this lesson; excellent job building it into your swing so quickly!! One lesson at GOLFTEC after I found shanks gave me THE SAME LESSON you spoke of. Literally all it took and I’ve hit the ball better than I ever have - with tons more consistency.
I had a medical problem a while back and stopped playing golf. I had been playing for about 30 years. Had a bunch of rounds in the high 70s but mostly low to mid 80s. When I started feeling better I began to hit little chip shots about 5 feet from the carpet in my living room to a couch. I was amazed at how inconsistent I was. Fat, thin, toe, heel. I accidentally started doing what you teach in this video just from hitting thousands of chip shots and looking for something that worked. For the first time in my life I was consistently hitting those little chips in the sweet spot. Staying forward. This was really the first time in my life that I felt like I was hitting a real golf shot even though they were just chips. They fly differently, they sound differently. This is a great video. Coincidences are amazing. What is the chance I accidentally starting hitting shots like this and then see your video about the same time. Incredible. Thanks, Tom.
Welcome to the magical world of crispy ball striking bliss!! It's all a function of creating a consistent low point, and the keys in this lesson are all about doing so. I appreciate you sharing your chipping improvement, and I hope you are able to graduate up to making full swings very soon. Started playing this season for the first time in like 10 years, and was chunking about 65s on 9. I've been watching your videos the past few days and just hit a 46/45 on 18!

This. Is. It. ...At least for me - I'm a returning golfer and after 25 years of absence I was struggeling getting into hitting consistent shots again. Getting rid of all the unnessesary variables and now golf finally feels fun again =) I'm still on my way but the foundation was set. Thank you ! =D

The hands inside weight forward has singlehandely been the best tip I have ever had. It made me completely rethink the golf swing and I'm hitting the ball more consistently than ever with great distance and my steepness/over the top chop is completely gone by keeping the hands inside. Thanks for the advice Tom!

I haven't played golf in 2 years because of heart issues. I started back playing 18 holes 5 weeks ago. Each week my game got continually worse. I was so frustrated with myself. After watching your video I now realize I am been doing exactly what you described many golfers do that makes for a back swing. My backswing was all wrong. My hands were way out in front. I have done the weight forward shift on wedge shots which works. I can't wait to try this in my living room tomorrow. A couple weeks ago I was trying the figure 8 move and my wife, whose father was a scratch golfer, asked me what I was doing. She is on no way a golfer but she said that doesn't look like a golf swing. It not only looked weird but felt weird. Your video suggestion just makes sense. It is a swing that old timers like myself can do. Most importantly I understand exactly what you want golfers to do. Thanks!
HI David, I'm so glad to know that you are feeling better and back to playing again! Thanks for your kind words regarding my channel's instruction content. You may be interested to know that a significant percentage of my online school members are in their 60's, 70's, and 80's - i.e.: a smorgasbord of chronic ailments, physical limitations, back/shoulder/knee/hip pain, arthritis, and joint replacements - and they are overwhelmingly elated to experience the dramatic pain-free game improvement, seemingly effortless power, and resulting enjoyment that this swing affords them. Tom, I watched a video of myself and I thought I was keeping my weight on my left side throughout the swing BUT I wasn't! I fixed that yesterday on the course and struck the ball the best I've ever done so. Keeping that weight on the left and tilting my shoulders helped me stay centered and the results were spectacular. Thanks again for all you're doing for the You Tube golfing fraternity. We're all very grateful for your honest and fun method of teaching, it's really great 😀
That's awesome, Phil - Excellent job figuring out your deficiency, making the fix, and putting it into play so effectively!! Just wanted to update from my previous comment. I had a lesson from a golf pro and he said that my swing was '9.5/10' and wasnt much to improve on. Main thing i need to do is keep my head more stable and not lift it slightly at the top. I feel this video made something just click for me with that motion of the club. Im not saying im a good golfer yet and i need to he more consistent and better ball striking because i dont always hit it great but seeing myself on the replay on the slow motion cameras etc made me so happy to see i have a proper swing!

Every instructional video I’ve watched, article I’ve read and lesson I took through the years said to shift the weight. This single video completely changed how I was hitting the ball. I still have a lot of work to do, but this gives me far more confidence.
How interesting and sad it is that with all the advances in equipment, technology, golf course grooming, etc. the average golfer still struggles to break 100. Epic failures within the realm of “conventional” instruction, perhaps??? So many misconstrued and/or misguided teachings - such as taking the club straight back, turning the shoulders level while independently lifting the arms, shifting into and torquing against a firm trail side, actively rolling the hands through impact, etc. - have relegated generations of golfers to the vast abyss of inconsistency and chronic frustration (and chronic back/knee/hip pain as well). I’m doing my best here to clear these up one by one and put an end to this madness…. Have you considered the comprehensive, structured, sequential learning platform of my online school? Been playing for a few years and had hit a wall. Struggling to break 100, chunking irons and when I made good contact, it went 100 feet in the air with below average distance (9i average of only 125-130 yds). Watched your short from this video about getting the hands lower and keeping the weight forward, went out back to practice a bit, and immediately started striping my irons. Now my striking is more consistent and my distance on 9i is up over 150. Can't thank you enough, Tom!

You are spot on with your comment on where it "feels" like your hands are as opposed to where they really are. I have made that swing and had a really good golfer watch me. I asked him how it looked and he said it looked just fine. Then he said, "Why do you care what it looks like when you see the ball screaming out as far and as straight as it's going?" Remember, if a change doesn't feel weird when you first try it, then you haven't made a change. You have to make weird your new normal if weird is working.
Yes indeed, Jim - "Feel vs. Real"! But like your golfer friend, as I routinely say: Let your ball striking and shot shape be your guide... Keep up the great work and enjoy your "new normal"!! Tom
This advice is terrific. I’m 67 and playing golf for a long time using traditional methods. The results after using your advice have been dramatically better. I find that the challenge is to use this new method throughout the entire round. Having done the traditional stuff for so long, it tends to leak back into the swing unless I stay laser focussed on the weight forward stuff. I’m going to use more range time to make this my “new normal”. I suspect it will take some time but hope the results will be worth the effort now that we are starting spring time in the northeast. Thanks for your clear and concise explanations and keep them coming.
Hi Richard, Thanks for your kind words regarding my instruction. I'm thrilled for your dramatic improvement!! Those "ghosts of swings past" are stubborn and definitely don't give up without a fight. They're always looking for an opportunity to sneak back in and haunt us, and oftentimes that happens mid-round when we're playing well and perhaps thinking "now I've got this". We then let our guard down, get a little loose with one element, and then seemingly out of nowhere those demons pour back in and derail our game. Are you the same Richard Potapchuk who was enrolled in the online school? If so, there's plenty of content in there that will help you to become a ghostbuster and really lock down your swing. Also, have you joined the SagutoGolf Members Forum (which is included with the online school) yet and begun engaging with other golfers in the school? Once signed in you’ll be able to access in this fun and tremendously supportive community and participate in the ongoing great dialogue on a variety of swing- and game-related topics. You can start discussions, contribute to existing threads, post accomplishments and specific swing questions, make some new friends, and just share in the common bond and banter of golfers from around the world seeking to improve their games and help others to do the same. Great as always Tom. I too had been struggling until I found you and S&T. For me though, it is always a work in progress and I need to be reminded of: weight forward, shoulder down, hands in.
Glad you enjoyed it, Randy, and yes - for many of us the exact opposite moves were deeply ingrained, so it takes focused attention to exorcise those "ghosts of swings past". Keep up the great work!! Tom
I've just come back from the range having watched this and your other videos, I hit 100 balls across the bag, stack and tilt works! You really feel the tilt and it turns you fully, with your weight forward "against the wall" stopping you from staying back and hitting off the right foot the number of fats or thins falls of a cliff, you've given me the best golfing advice of my life.
That's *awesome!!* 💪💪 This body-friendly, powerful, consistent, low-maintenance Stack and Tilt swing system is designed to provide a lifetime of great ball striking, and since it is rooted in physics, geometry, and human physiology it does not discriminate by age or ability - from kids to seniors and everything in between, and inclusive of the best players in the world. I give all credit where it is due - including Andy Plummer and Mike Bennett for analyzing and interpreting the science, and to those who preceded them with their empirical observations of the game's best ball strikers and all their subsequent chalkboard number-crunching. I just do my best to take what they have built and convey it in my own simplified teaching style. Thanks so much for sharing your dramatic ball striking improvement, and keep up the great work!! This video is fantastic. I completely relate to the contradiction to many guided golf fundamentals of the past. TOM… THANK YOU. I’ve had a terrible slice that I couldn’t figure out. back swing was high, and I was chopping at it over the top. but having the weight forward, and swinging the hands in helped me consistently hit the ball straight and far. I’m hitting ball first, divot after. finally making great contract and going through the ball. Best drill I’ve ever found. Thank you again.
I'm very glad to learn of your slice-busting improvement!! 💪💪 Thanks so much for sharing your success with this lesson and keep up the great work!! Awsome video. I also watched numerous videos by golf pros. I felt like an airplane pilot prior to "take off", slow down my swing, keep my head still, don't sway, etc.. After watching these videos I would go to the golf range to practice what I had learned. I would hit numerous golf balls and then "wam"; slice, worm burners, fat shots, etc.. Omg, oops, I forgot to shift my weight, didn't rotate my forearms or shoulders, swayed, etc. I soon became brain dead and had many sleepness nights, getting up early a.m. to jot down a golf note, forgetting something what not do or do in my golf swing. Anyway, you got me excited to try out your video instructions of the "stack and tilt" approach and hopefully I can hit my golf balls as crisp you have in your video. Again, awsome video and instructions!
Thanks again, Mike!! The golf swing is indeed overly complicated in particular by one part of the human body - the brain and all the swing nonsense and misguided instruction it has been fed. Garbage in, garbage out; and countless golf swings have sadly been trashed as a result. This is not saying that golf is "easy" as it most certainly is anything but. However, the perceived and overstated complexities of the swing itself can be greatly simplified to convey motions that are body-friendly and physiologically sound, and which simultaneously and effectively harness physics and geometry to produce a most satisfying and long-lasting experience. (Wow - I was on a roll there. Almost sounded like a college professor....😎) Anyway.....that's what my instruction style is rooted in, and I'm very glad to know that it is resonating well with you! I hope you'll give some thought to the online school as I've mentioned to you previously. That will greatly help you in taking your brain out of the equation and putting things on autopilot. Tom
Low hands on the back swing. Game changing advice!! I already try to keep my weight fwd. I did this yesterday, I didn't even hit balls on the driving range before my round. I just went straight to the tee box, teed off with the thought of low hands, and it was amazing. I went on to shoot 41 for 9 holes. Typically I'm up around 50. Can't wait until I play again.
That's fabulous - nice job building that swing key into your swing so quickly! Congrats on an excellent round, and thanks so much for sharing your improvement through this lesson!! I love this paisano.. He cuts through all the lies about the golf swing and makes it so simple in the most fun and funny way..One of the best teachers out there..
I sincerely appreciate your kind words, Mark, and I'm very glad to know that my instruction content and teaching style are resonating well with you!! Ciao! Tom
My pleasure, Bryan - I'm very glad to know that my instruction is resonating well with you! The way I see it, we can either simply put the already existing natural laws to work and thereby build a powerful, body-friendly, repeatable, low-maintenance motion, or we can twist, morph, torque, contrive, and otherwise mess with the principles of physics and geometry in an effort to better suit some ill-conceived whims, all the while recognizing that at the point of impact those pre-existing laws are going to be the only things that matter to the ball! Keep up the great work! Tom
Literally the first time in my life that I have watched an instructional golf RUclips video and saw results from the very first swing on the range. Incredible.
Unfortunately, Trey, such sorcery from this dark underworld of golf instruction rarely finds its way to the mainstream because if too many folks found out about it the mainstream would then be rendered irrelevant....... 😎 I'm very glad to know that this lesson performed well for you; excellent job incorporating it into your swing so quickly. Hugely helpful. Been playing two weeks (guys at work needed a fourth for a golf tourney - challenge accepted) - I saw this last night, hit the range today for 90 minutes and this really helped. Still sliced a few, learning grip/club face/etc - but made a lot of progress. Also learned to ease into reps - start w/ small clubs and work up . Thanks for videos.

Big time help, my sons a pga pro and he's always telling me to get the club behind me but the weight foward was the final piece. Great advice, thanks so much
Indeed, Gary, that weight-forward component is what ties it all together. If we shift back while trying to take it on an inward path we are either going to level out our turn and/or snatch/roll it to the inside, neither of which is going to produce consistently desirable results. Thanks for sharing your improvement and keep up the great work!! Tom
Great stuff, Tom! Keeping it SIMPLE!! Look at film or photos of Ben Hogan...arguably the best ball striker of all time and watch where his left arm crosses his chest. Same as yours... Keep up the good work!
Thanks so much - I sincerely appreciate the kind words and the comparison with Mr. Hogan's timeless swing, and I'm very glad to know that you are enjoying my content!! Tom
Honestly, I have not heard load the trail side and lift your arms for a few decades now. With the advent of the launch monitor, we have learned exactly how the swing works. I started using your "method" a couple of years ago and basically didn't look back. I did buy the Stack & Tilt book and I have devoured it, reading it over and over again. I've since paid for lessons with a local Pro who is on the same page with me. My game has improved dramatically; but I still have a way to go to get where I want. I'm enjoying the Journey. I watch your content (as well as a few others) regularly. Keep up the good work TS.
If you're not hearing that anymore, John, then you are listening to all the right sources because that other stuff is still out there for sure... 😎 This body-friendly, powerful, consistent, low-maintenance Stack and Tilt swing system is designed to provide a lifetime of enjoyment for all golfers, and since it is rooted in physics, geometry, and human physiology it does not discriminate by age or ability - from kids to seniors and everything in between, and inclusive of the best players in the world. I'm very glad to learn of your dramatic improvement through S&T, and kudos to your local pro who is teaching you well! Thanks for sharing your progress and keep up the great work!! Tom
Tom thanks. I have always known weight forward was key. I actually used Jim Venetos method for a year and played pretty well but staying closed through impact is difficult as he teaches. Went to S&T method about 2 years ago and when it would connect you are right most power and consistency but you were always saying shoulder down which just didn't register and always felt something off. So left S&T. Getting to my ah ha moment. In a few of your videos and this one you say 'swing your shoulders'. That was it for me. After proper setup and turning shoulders back and turning shoulders through is how thos has changed my golf life. By simply turning my shoulders back and through all the other things in swing seem to happen automatic that you teach. All I can say is thanks. My golf hame is now amazing. Hdcp down to 5 from 15 and at age 57 I am hitting drives consistently 270-275 and irons like 8 at 155. Thanks is all I can say
That's awesome!! 💪💪 I appreciate you sharing your dramatic improvement, and I'm very glad to know that my instruction is resonating well with you! @SagutoGolf Yes I know you teach S&T :-). Actually played with it because of watching you on you tube. The swingi g of shoulders comment is what changed for me. I was part of your school before.

Thanks
One swing, yes one swing and I knew this works. Never trapped the ball this well before. Won my next competition, crazy good.
Golf grip looks huge and looks like the single plane swing. Wonder if he is using same length clubs? I like it!
I’m 66 and have had many of lessons. This has help me make the best ball contact in over 30 years. Great stuff.

I really relate to his previous flaws. When I tried stack and tilt my back would get sore. What could I have been doing wrong?
I can totally relate to this I’m the same and I’m 70😊
Awesome feedback, I’m going to try this.
I'm 96
Ok, I tried this out on the course yesterday, keeping weight forward, hands in. Shot my lowest round of the year, 72. Back nine I had 3 birds for a 34. Never have hit my irons better in my life. I think I will keep doing it! Thanks for your fun videos.

Stack and tilt has changed my game forever. I'm 62 and had been struggling for 20 years to consistently hit the ball. Thanks Tom!

What's with those grips?
You explain technical golf information better than anyone I've ever seen on RUclips, can't wait to hit the range in the morning

I'm very glad to learn of your improvement, Nedster!! This powerful, consistent, body-friendly swing system is designed to provide a lifetime of blissful ball striking up to and including at the game's most elite levels. Thanks so much for your support in sharing your success with it, and keep up the great work!!
By the way, if you've not already joined have you considered enrolling in the online school and taking your learning - and your game - to the next level? Tom
Thanks for sharing your improvement, shore up that short game, and let us know when you achieve this milestone and are moving on to "Mission 75" as your next target objective!!
Thanks so much for sharing your improvement as well as your rekindled enthusiasm for this greatest of games!!

Thank you
I'm very glad to know that this helped you, Paul!!

Cheers.
Welcome back to this greatest of games!!
Sounds like you've got a really good local pro since we're saying the same things.... 😎 .

Putting is the "great equalizer" and it can be mastered by anyone of any skill level who wishes to put in the effort. However, it tends to be about the last thing most of us want to practice because, well, where's the fun in that?.... 😎
Now that you're striping it, maybe you can put in some time each session to help cure the ball of its fear?
Anyway, thanks so much for your support in sharing your progress and keep up the great work!!
Tom
Tom your swing methods have really changed my game. I recommend anyone who wants to improve their game, not just the full shot but chips, pitches, putting, etc. to purchase an annual subscription to your instruction site. It's the best $99 you can invest in your golf game.
And congratulations on your co-branding with Kentucky Fried Chicken. I get quite a kick out of seeing your face on every bucket of chicken I buy.

I did my best to price the school at a "no-brainer" level given the quality and effectiveness of the delivered product, and I sincerely appreciate you recognizing that and taking the time to "shout it from the rooftop"!!
Thanks again, keep up the great work, and keep it crispy!!
Tom
PS: Has The Colonel finally signed off on that bucket thing? It's sure taken him a while..... 😆
Love it, Tom. I’ve been using this technique ever since I started watching you over a year ago. You’ve always preached this weight forward hand back swing and I have now adapted this process. I can now even use my front leg to spring up out of my swing to add even more power. Love your stuff Tom. Keep being you.
That's fantastic, Peter!! And yes - that "jumping up" move is very powerful - excellent job incorporating that into your swing.
Thanks for sharing your improvement, keep up the great work, and have fun out there!!

@@SagutoGolf Thanks for the information, I'll definitely check it out 👍
One lesson at GOLFTEC after I found shanks gave me THE SAME LESSON you spoke of.
This. Is. It. ...At least for me - I'm a returning golfer and after 25 years of absence I was struggeling getting into hitting consistent shots again. Getting rid of all the unnessesary variables and now golf finally feels fun again =) I'm still on my way but the foundation was set. Thank you ! =D

This video solidified what I have been working on this winter. I'm hitting the ball a lot more solid and getting the 'ball first' contact that I was missing. Great video!
Nice work, and I'm glad to know that this lesson offered validation for your wintertime efforts!!
Have a great season!!

Thanks!
HI David,
I'm so glad to know that you are feeling better and back to playing again!
It all begins with a proper setup which provides for a free-flowing motion. Upon that good foundation a repeatable swing which produces consistently crispy impact can be built.

That's fantastic, Kyle! Thanks for the great progress update, and keep up the fabulous work!

Tom, this is good stuff. I’m 62 years young and hitting the ball better and longer. I broke 80 twice in my last three rounds. P.S. hit em long and straight and remember,,, it never rains on the golf course. God Bless.

That's where - among many other courses and lessons covering various aspects of the game - you will find very detailed instruction and drills that take you through the entire swing step-by-step from setup to finish. Additionally, you'll have access to all my short game content (putting, chipping, pitching, bunker play), advanced level content, diagnostic and corrective tools for resolving common swing, contact, and ball flight issues, and much more. Thousands of folks across the globe are now enjoying the best golf of their lives as a result, and I'm happy to let their unsolicited testimonials tell the story: saguto.golf/p/sagutogolfreviews.
Let's get you out of that abyss and into the wonderful world of consistent ball striking bliss!! 💪💪
Tom
Been playing for a few years and had hit a wall. Struggling to break 100, chunking irons and when I made good contact, it went 100 feet in the air with below average distance (9i average of only 125-130 yds). Watched your short from this video about getting the hands lower and keeping the weight forward, went out back to practice a bit, and immediately started striping my irons. Now my striking is more consistent and my distance on 9i is up over 150. Can't thank you enough, Tom!
That's awesome, Tom - I'm very glad to know that those swing keys worked well for you. Excellent job incorporating them into your practice so quickly!!

Tom
Hi Richard,
Thanks for your kind words regarding my instruction.

PS: With regard to watching different videos from different sources, please be careful in navigating the muddied, overly-complicated, oft-conflicting realm of golf instruction.
That's *awesome!!* 💪💪
This body-friendly, powerful, consistent, low-maintenance Stack and Tilt swing system is designed to provide a lifetime of great ball striking, and since it is rooted in physics, geometry, and human physiology it does not discriminate by age or ability - from kids to seniors and everything in between, and inclusive of the best players in the world.

I sincerely appreciate your kind words, Mark, and I'm very glad to know that my instruction content and teaching style are resonating well with you!!
Ciao!
Tom
Tom, thanks for simplifying what most teachers make so complicated. You have helped my game! Thank you!
I'm very glad to know that this lesson performed well for you; excellent job incorporating it into your swing so quickly.
Thanks for sharing your success and keep up the great work!!

Tom
Hugely helpful. Been playing two weeks (guys at work needed a fourth for a golf tourney - challenge accepted) - I saw this last night, hit the range today for 90 minutes and this really helped. Still sliced a few, learning grip/club face/etc - but made a lot of progress. Also learned to ease into reps - start w/ small clubs and work up . Thanks for videos.
That's awesome, and welcome to this greatest of games!!
This was a very good lesson to get started with, and I'm very glad to know that it resonated with you. Excellent job incorporating it into your swing, and thanks for sharing your promising results!
Embrace the challenge, keep up the great work, and - most importantly - have fun out there!!

This body-friendly, powerful, consistent, low-maintenance Stack and Tilt swing system is designed to provide a lifetime of enjoyment for all golfers, and since it is rooted in physics, geometry, and human physiology it does not discriminate by age or ability - from kids to seniors and everything in between, and inclusive of the best players in the world.
I do teach the Stack and Tilt system, so perhaps it is just my way of conveying it that connected with you?
Thanks again for your fantastic testimonial and keep up the great work!!

@SagutoGolf Yes I know you teach S&T :-). Actually played with it because of watching you on you tube. The swingi g of shoulders comment is what changed for me. I was part of your school before.
@psedler - Okay, sounds good. Funny how a couple of words can male such a difference from one golfer to the next, isn't it??
By the way, the school just received a major platform upgrade along with the addition of 13 hours of new content. Check it out if you have a chance!
@@SagutoGolf Will do. Thanks again

Thank you Tom, I'm 75 and a 22 handicap, hitting the ball with power and consistency that I never had before, can't wait to turn in some great cards and lower the handicap. On second thought I cany just not turn them in and stay a 22. Cash in the bank.
LOL! I like that strategy!! I'm very glad to know that my instruction is resonating with you, and I'm thrilled for your improvement and the new sandbagging opportunities it has created for you! 😎

Saguto fixed my game a few years ago by stopping my lateral movement. He is a guru. Listen up ya'll.
@Boone Docker - Thanks - I appreciate your testimonial and support for my instruction and this swing system!!
Keep up the great work!!
Tom
Always like to hear what to do verses what
NOT to do. Less confusing & simpler for me. Tx
I'm very glad to know that my instruction content and teaching style are resonating well with you, Wendy.

Hey Tom. I saw your lesson you and Eric did together on keeping lead shoulder down lower on backswing and it helped with better contact and better results. So thankful for your golf tips.
Thanks Dennis - I appreciate your kind words and I'm very glad to know that my instruction is resonating well with you!!
Keep up the great work!!
