Fire Emblem Warriors - Beginner's Guide to Weapon Attributes!

- Fire Emblem Warriors, like all musou games, brings back the weapon attribute system, which is an integral part of bringing up your overall effectiveness!
As usual, the skills you pick should complement your favourite combos and playstyles. In this video, I briefly explain what each skill does while also showing what I find to be, in my opinion, the ideal Weapon Attribute Setups (check out my Raijinto, Parallel Falchion and Camilla's Axe setups at 15:03) - Игры
Topsy turvy does not switch the stats.
It just deals the opposite damage.
Topsy turvy does magic damage with strength stat or physical damage with magic stat.
Take a look at the highlighted stat.
Like for example, Tiki has both highlighted.
Chrom would always have str highlighted.
Take advantage of duplicate move sets to provide different coverage options. Cordelia can run topsy-turvy to provide magic damage, Caeda could run antitriangle to cover axes, and with Hinoka having a legendary weapon (letting her run 2 slayers like dragon+wing), you'll have an answer for just about everything in the game in only 3 characters.
That's a very fine idea, not to mention clever use of attributes! Thanks to the fact that the movesets are streamlined, the real customization comes from the various attributes. I'm really excited to see what new toys the DLC will bring.
Archers are still a problem and Spear Infantry would be neutral. You could just power through those two, but usually you'll still have one more character to cover those. A non-camilla axe, antitriangle sword, mage, or archer would cover the rest.
Hey. Your videos have been really helpful, and they're all really well done.
I do have one question, though. I just want to make sure I understand this correctly. Unique weapons like Falchion, Yato, Fujin Yumi, etc. can have an extra Slayer attribute (Armor Slayer, Wing Slayer, etc.) added to them without suffering a damage loss vs. other units, correct?
Uncle Koopa Yep. As long as you have unlocked the True Power attribute for the weapons, you can add slayer skills without damage penalty.
THANK YOU!! That helped SO much. I was guessing about things because the game does not explain. Now I know what I need to know. Thank you
I remember hearing somewhere that there exist dragonstones with the ability Antitriangle", which would make Tiki pretty much super-effective against every other unit, since she is at a disadvantage against everyone in her normal form. Is that actually possible though? Cause I never seen a dragonstone with that ability.
Dragonstones are not part of the Triangle, though. The Disadvantage she has is not coming from the triangle, but from her Class. (Which is why its only one arrow up, instead of two)
Tiki's main gimmick is the fact that, while she has an inherent disadvantage against everyone, she can reliably stay in awakening mode, where she'll have an advantage against everything.
Nice to know, so Tiki is pretty useless as NPC, right?
Actually, I think Takumi might have the highest damage for Warriors/Duel specials in the game. If I remember right Warriors specials and Duel specials are based off of a character's skill stat. Takumi's skill stat is ridiculously high at an insane 150, while Ryoma's is 104. Therefore, Takumi would have the higher damaging special, right? Sorry I just had to throw that in...... I couldn't help it..... x.x
Invidia The damage is comparable, and I think Takumi is slightly stronger (scales with both skill and str, but more for skill)
I tend to prefer Ryoma's because the range of his dual special also grabs people behind him, which synergizes well with Camilla's body slams.
Not sure if they patched it but Awaken Gift does work in awakening mode, according to the wiki anyways
you know what i think of armor strike? it turns you into the fire emblem equivalent of a pokémon glass cannon
naruto69savagE A bit! I recommend it for people that are more particular about dodging/interrupting enemies. Really makes the difference between a fast clear and otherwise!
Nn Li wow acting like i dont know sh**
but seriously when will ike and roy be playable in warriors
I'm disappointed that they're not even in the vanilla game...I was close to not even buying this game because of it :P
Nn Li i could've done the same thing if i didn't get it as a present feom my brother
Once again, I shake my fist at this game for being so coy about the specifics of its damage calculations. It's Fire Emblem! The series where stat calculation can be the difference between life and death!
Since that other post the other day, no new calculations (as far as I can tell) have come out about FE:W, which makes choosing certain attributes harder. For example, lets say I run a Armor Strike Marth, and my playstyle focuses around Armor Breaking/critical hits. One would naturally think: "oh, well, put on a Critical+ and make the most out of your Crits!" And I actually did do that, for a bit, but there's a problem.
According to the calculations, the '+' skills are a 25% increase to the damage multiplier, when active. So for Critical+, that's obviously when I activate a critical hit...but wait, that's only for the critical hit attack! Compare that to Pair Up+, which would be a PERMANENT 25% increase whilst paired up...stacking upon the pair up boosts, AND Solidarity, if you have it. This begs the question, seeing as you likely will never NOT be paired up, what's the point of all the other 5000 kill skills, when Pair Up+ applies to everything, Crits, Warrior specials, and all?
At least, considering current calculations.
TheLaserSonic I've been thinking about that too. Like you said, the game is super secretive about the specifics of damage calculations (we're still trying to figure out Luna for goodness sakes lol)
I'm just making the educated guess that Warrior+ does more damage than Pair Up+ when it comes to specials, but we don't know for sure :(
It just doesn't work for me. The weapons I am receiving are all 5 Star B's and 1-2 A's. After about 3 hours of constantly doing the mission I had gotten one 5 star brave weapon
Which seal can give you the armor break attribute? I don't want to spend time grinding with a weapon if I don't need to.
Hey li, I was wondering if you know what level gets the true power material for Lucina
If I unlock an attribute on one sword (let's say triangle+) does that unlock it for all future swords
Definitely gonna get Anti-Triangle just so I can just play Lucina. Only reason I bought the game. Had for awhile didn't touch the twitch for a good year after mostly completing 80% of Hyrule Warriors Calamity.
I will say this though Fire Emblem Warriors AI is soooooo much better. They can actually conqueror Forts. While the ai in Hyrule Warriors seems to be incapable of doing that.
Edit:
Also I am going to assume Minerva and Camilla have the same Moveset. Because I will admit... Minerva is really fun. The spinning are fireball thing looks really cool and tend to kill anything.
what do you think of the hero weapons that got added to the game. is using those without attributes worth the trade off vs 240 dmg weapons with full slotted attributes considering hero weapons are double the dmg?
level 90 missons + has a cance to drop them with slots
Is not using Wingslayer better than Antitriangle for Ryoma's Raijinto cuz all spears are atm fliers??
Martin Freij It would be a good option, certainly. Personally I prefer Anti-Triangle because I primarily use Ryoma as a Support, but that's me.
ahh i see i mostly use him as the main fighter hardest for me atm is find a suitable partner to team up with leaning mostly for Robin or maybe even Camilla/Leon/Elise for the Mobility
Martin Freij All playable lance users are fliers right now, but not all enemy lance users are fliers. You could run Ryoma like that, but it seems pretty situational to me
Y i know Oboro and some of them are that so thats why thinking of using a partner which can handle them =)
Very useful video.
How do you get "true form" I think it's a drop you need to get but I haven't got it yet
Some map battles have a reward for complete the battle and it s material to have your weapon true power available but you have to kill 10,000 enemies to unlock it. Like Corrin for example since he's/she's the first one to have it. Get yato's scroll, have him/her promoted, make his/her weapon proficiency to A rank, have the required materials to make the crest, kill 10,000 enemies, and boom true power yato is there.
what does the attack 4/6 stand for on the upper right corner? 1/6 worst 6/6 best???
Sinai Li it’s how many attack boosts you can use. 6 is the limit, he only had 4.
Not saying I would put Strong I on him, but I tend to use Ryoma's strong 1 after almost every strong attack I do with him. It combos really well, but it might be better to just start doing regular attacks after his strong attacks anyways.
TheSws64 The best setups
are the ones that complement your playstyle ;)
Spamming Strong I with the attribute will ultimately be better than having Strong V and never using the combo.
Can I comment, that weapon attributes are not integral. I mean, I've basically ignored the strong attack buffs and all the 5000 unlocks and armor strike. Mostly that I have not focused on unlocking all that stuff and instead have focused on bonds and crests and now I'm level 70-99 on everyone and have gotten S rank on most maps. The only weapon attributes I've focused on are slayers for specific maps, Rainstorm because it seemed always useful, and the resource increasing attributes because reducing the grind should be a focus when possible (but you just push these off as a side note, I want to know how impactful these attributes actually are)
Also as a side note it seems to me like a waste to not have two slayer attributes on the character specific weapons with true power. You can just have a 5-star brave sword with those builds and the same power with no performance difference. But the true power weapons can exploit the dual slayer attributes with no power reduction.
Stephan Reiken I'll have to admit that I don't know the exact numbers of damage increase (percent-wise) that the attributes provide, only that the boosts exist.
I find that equipment attributes and skill crests are more important to damage than actual level ups/stats.
That kinda misses my point though, that I pick up better weapon drops with more slots and stars, and more material rather than focus on increasing power.
This is probably not that different from Hyrule Warriors in which levels provide diminishing returns, there is a damage cap which can vary by map, and weapon attributes ignore the level/stats based damage cap. I think I've seen this but its harder to see with the level 99 cap, as opposed to HW with much higher level caps with all the DLC out already.
How did you get Camilla's axe so strong!? mine is only at 80?
Black Film Guild I want to know this to. I know it's all about " true form" but I don't have it
does somebody know why Rowans and Liannas Strong 6 are so different? its the same attack but Lianna can change the direction during strong 6 while Rowan cant.It makes it so much better than Rowans for clearing out trash mobs
I've never tested that, but that seems like a huge oversight on the developer's part.
Oh well, Lianna was always my favourite out of the two anyhow :P
mine two, i dont mind if it is a mistake on Liannas combo :D
Danm nice guide bro u have 9 million gold that's lot
Does anyone know how I can get another plateslayer for a sword? I removed one to put on another and it disappeared.
Healer/Healing Gift = Sell the weapon or remove the attribute.
I play this on a 2ds xl and this is my first fire emblem game. I want to change my squad (the four guys I can controll in the battle ) but I don't know how... Help please...
I know this is a year late but first you go to the character you want to change ( for example Rowan), press X, press set character, and you can change Rowan for whoever you want. Hope this helps 😃
How do you get that money ??? 😮
Does anyone know if there’s a trick to get a lot of gold or money?
my yato is only 80?! why is that?
After getting an A rank you can make a weapon mastery skill. You need to do ~lvl60 mission for the scroll. Then you need to grind 10,000 kills. It will unlock a skill called true power which maximizes MT.
Where is the lvl 60 mission?l
I believe that it is on the invisible ties history mode map after you clear all the maps and get S ranks.
Can you explain how to make a weapon mastery skill?
is there a place where I can see how close I am to 10k kills? Do I have to do 10k kills with the weapon I want to upgrade?
