- Fire Emblem Warriors - With new Weapon attributes comes new possibilities! In this video, I'll briefly explain what each one does and show what circumstances and scenarios best suit which one.
They're all REALLY good in their own way, so it honestly comes down to taste, with a few exceptions.
If you want to further emphasize a character with a sky-high stat, Amped would be better. Bolster is a huge buff for all the 5,000 KO skills, so if your playstyle revolves around that, definitely use it!
You should make a guide for what you think the optimal builds are for all the characters. The skills and stats are all super confusing in this game so I think that would be extremely helpful
I feel like Celica would make great use of Amped due to the incredibly balanced nature of her stats. She already makes great use of Resonant Power and has high luck.
Likewise, Lissa would also enjoy Amped to go along with her gimmick, which boosts Str/Mag/Def/Res by 25%. Topsy-statflip to attack with her extremely high Res, and you've got a monster.

Topsy Statflip is shit on Lissa. Sure, her damage increases some, but her Def and Res take a huge plummet because of it. Plus, she doesn't actually need those attributes in order to have an amazing attack stat.

Thank you!!! Bolster was one skill I had trouble figuring out completely so I'm very happy you made this vid. I was leaning on Bolster initially and I definitely it sounds like overall it's one of the best skills especially if your weapons have a lot of those boost skills like Weapon + or Pair Up +. I used to focus on those skills more on those weapons, but starting changing up my skills with some characters so I have Amped forged into them instead like with Elise after seeing how high her resistance can be after making that her main source of attack. I didn't realize Acceleration fell under the same type as Bolster and Amped mostly because I never tried putting it into any of my weapons yet
I have done some experiments to test which one is better and in my opinion Amped is better than Bolster.
The main reason to use Bolster is to boost the damage of Health+, that in my opinion is the best Boost attribute by far, but the damage of Bolster & Health+ is just slightly better (a negligible amount) than the damage of Amped & Health+.
The other reason to use Bolster is to boost the Attack attributes, but the problem of that is if even some of them could be considered, like Strong VI for Lyn, today there are to many better options that make the character more consistent and versatile.
For example for Lyn I use :
- Critical Focus : Breaking the stone gage in one combo, the best attribute in the game in my opinion.
- Armor Strike : Could be replaced by something more broken in the future but for level 150 maps it still very useful.
- Fury Builder : 1000KO = Damage * 1.5~; 2000KO = Damage * 2~
- Health+ : Same effect of the majority of Boost abilities like Warrior+, but with a huge increase in also strong or normal attacks (using in the worst case elixirs to be at 100% health anytime).
- Amped : Mainly to increase Lock and Skill, and even Speed for characters based in the awakening mode (I have never miss a Lethality with a decent Lock character since I use this attribute).
- Wingslayer : To take out easily the Pegasus knights, for a sword user it makes a huge difference in versatility.
In my opinion no one of this weapons attributes can be replaced for an Attack attribute just because if you play since a long amount of time this game the play-style you are going to have takes more benefits of a weapon composition like this than something more simple only focused on damage.

So basically bolster focuses on the weapon while amped focuses on the character, that sounds actually cool debate heck i used to lean more on bolster cause of more damage but since some units have too much of a good thing in terms of stats, amped is basically their go to skill.... hmmm say you should make a vid about which unit should get which spirit skills rather than other ppl getting a big headache on choosing which one, it would probably help out alot in the F.E.W. community if u did
It's very much a judgment call. The increases to SPD (Which is now incredibly useful with the introduction of Galeforce) SKL and LCK make Amped very appealing.
Bolster, on the other hand, is great for people like me that have a very single-minded approach when it comes to making characters (I personally don't think too much about stats, choosing more to focus on weapon and skill builds)

Amped is much more powerful than Bolster. Amped boosts stats at based versus Bolster which is another 25% boost in a sea of boosts. Bolster's boost sounds great, but when you go from 150% damage to 175% (with Solidarity and Pair Up+), which is only a 16% boost in damage. On the other hand, the +20% Luck on all but the lowest luck characters will match that damage increase AND give you increased Awakening duration, increased Warrior damage, and more defense and resist.
Also note that Amped's bonus happens before things like Luck+20
So basically one can't "stack" legendary on their exclusive weapon.

Nope. These are Bonus, not Boost.
Can you walk through the Olivia blade scroll S rank because I have trouble with the S rank

It does not affect S-Rank weapons or Personal Weapons.

You'll have to find them on the new maps as a reward for obtaining S-Rank.

Costumes are obtained after you finish the main objective on the maps (meet up with the characters)

Acceleration on astra Lyn is insane.

Yeah, but Lyn is the kind of character that can benefit from either Bolster or Amped. More so the later, because you basically have her running on god mode throughout every map. Same with Navarre. I would actually only recommend getting Acceleration if you don't feel like grinding for Astra, or, someone like...say, Kamui, or Tharja; who only really benefit from a certain kind of weapon skill sets.
Yeah I thought I noticed a difference with Sol Katti when I had acceleration on it. I have been using acceleration on Robin and Tharja because they have kind of slow attacks without Astra.
My Lyn already has Astra, so, I just gave her amped. It's both awesome and kind of sad-she's got one of the best movesets in the game and she's an awesome character; on the flipside, Lyn is also easy mode. Lyn with any stat buff skill breaks this game in half.
