Brilliantly edited and produced Dirtfish crew! Thankful that you are helping shine a light on some of the rally awesomeness North America has to offer.
This years rally was very difficult compared to some years. The slushy conditions made it difficult. The Yokohama AO-34 ended up being the choice because it cleared the slush better than anything else we found
Awesome video. i hope you guys. Can have a streaming service soon. Like WRC+. Because I would buy a monthly subscription. Because I also follow. IMSA,The Michelin Pilot Series and WRC. And now you guys.
Great video and challenging rally, but North America's most challenging... probably not. I think Tall Pines takes that title, at least according to Vermont Sportscar and Team O'Neil when I have talked to their teams about it. That is why they come to it when it isn't in their championship so often.
no studs allowed! and like that! But here where narrator made a MISTAKE: no one pushes "300 hp and 400 torque" on snow and ice, all cars are DOWN-TUNED for slippery events!
@@Ryansanders80 on ice and non studded? last year i did much better running stock tune vs custom tune the year before. back then she was just spinning the wheels on snow and ice.
@@alexk8583 my teammate and i ran with all the power we had on gravel, had to be very very gentle on the throttle but once you found grip you rocketed out like you wouldn't believe. this decision was made last minute, and we had tried other tunes during testing. that being said differential setup was much different and suspension was radically changed
I agree with Santiago about the Hakkas, I ran them with big chunks cut out to coat the slush for 2020, the real ideal tyre was the AO-34 though, really shined in the conditions, but we couldn’t source them in my size, so my teammate got them

What are the 2022 dates?!
Definitely should do a intro on Rally of the Tall Pines in Bancroft Ontario. No studs allowed either and it's very technical.
We'll do a feature on that one in November!
@@DirtFish awesome! Looking forward to it!

Good to know! Maybe we are working on one😉
Only a few miles from our old family cabin. Geab some pizza at the bar in Lewiston while you're in the area

We don’t down tune. Our 4wheel car is right around 300 hp.

Winning tire strategy = Blizaks
Hakkas for me
They’re great tires for the right application.👌
