i use the (almost just came out) Ryobi portable cordless electric backpack sprayer. the pressure (with some nozzle adjustments) is even stronger than the gun in your video. it has a 4 gallon tank and one full charge of the battery lasts about 10 complete empty 4 gallon tanks. got it in ebay for 150$. i have the same issue and got the idea off of a video i saw on youtube with a guy using it in his pool.
Awesome. I have never seen anything like this on RUclips. Your videos are so good because I usually have questions but it's been awhile since I've had a question for you so that means it's very informative
Them I must be doing something right! 😁👍🏻
*_Very informative. Thanks for uploading this!_*
Sure thing! 👍🏻
You mention a cordless leaf blower...Worx has some that use the same batteries as the Hydroshot.
BRIAN IS THE MAN - OUTSTANDING, we just spoke (online) just the other day about something like this, and man did you ever come through...THANKS BIG TIME
More gold from Apex!
Thanks again, Brian. Can't get this kind of real world knowledge from the "hyper enthusiast", channels.
This is such a cool video. I use distilled water when I'm out in full sun in the ole' sunjoe. No hard water to deal with. I typically use it with their foam cannon and as a final rinse. Such a great little machine.
That thing is worth every penny! 👍🏻
When air drying with distilled, does it only work if the sun is out? Will it work in the cold?
I love this video! Extremely helpful for my business.
Great video B!
Thanks Mikey!
This was so informative, just what I have been looking for, to run my business, thank you
Very informative video and nice set up. Now make a video on how to use tool and equipment without power source or generator if you or your customer doesn’t have it.
That is exactly what that was......no hook up whatsoever.🙂
Aaron 1530091 I bought a power station that uses 4 24v batteries that'll power my vacuum or polisher.
Froztinc what brand is it and how long does it usually last?
Those sound effects! 👍
Lol you like?
What we're the 2 products/company you trust for rinseless/washless method?
Wow, this is exactly what I needed. Although I live on the first floor of my apartment and my car is parked literally 5 feet from my door, apartment rules say we can't use a hose to wash our vehicles. It's an older complex, no designated car wash areas. I do own the Worx hydroshot already but I use it for cleaning my wheels and tires specifically and use ONR for the car body. The battery doesn't seem to last very long, probably because I use it on the higher setting with the longer wand. I have ordered another battery but it's taking FOREVER to get to Hawaii; still not here even after ordering a month ago. I do have the sunjoe spx-6000 on wishlist but I can't justify spending the 260+ dollars right now. Thank you for this video, it helps a lot.
The upgraded battery is well worth the extra money, and I use it for the blower as well, hope you get it soon.
It is worth the wait. 2batteries are key!
If you have a water hookup, you can also connect a water hose directly to the hydroshot and with the extension it's got pretty darn good pressure that way. You can also use a 2L bottle, but I've found you can only do about half a car before having to fill it up again, so 5-6 bottles ready to go would work fine and just takes a few seconds to take one off and screw another on. And if your having to wash out in the hot sun, you can buy a few gallons of distilled water at walmart for .88C ea and not have to worry about water spots.
Excellent post Allen👍
Awesome work as always my friend. This client seems the ideal customer for Ammo FROTHe. Larry posted a video you can use a wet or dry version depending on situation.
Nice wash system, but I wouldn't of done it, unless I could of used ONR. Thank you for your great content.
did you try the 40v hydroshot?
Great channel. Very helpful. What clear bucket is that, love to get one of those. I see that you sell Angelwax, which is very well respected here in UK. I would be interested to see you review Bilt Hamber products and try to sell those. I think these and the big two south korean companies are a safe go to for any product.
I like washing my car with my pressure washer and then use my hydroshot with two gallons of distilled water to have a spotless finish with no need of drying.
For spotless rinsing! Great tip!👍🏻
For maintenance washes, I've been using the Krause/Becker with 5 gallons of reverse osmosis or distilled water. I'm able to rinse a sedan, wash the tires/wheels, do a contact wash, and a final rinse with about 1 gallon leftover. I'm able to do this in my garage with minimal runoff and still have the shade to work in. And even though I'm in the shade, using RO or even distilled water helps minimize or eliminate water spots if the water happens to dry before I dry the car with compressed air or a towel. 5 gallons of RO costs $1.75 and my local grocery store sells distilled for 66 cents/gallon. It's so much better than using our local water, which has a TDS above 500.
ea0529 lol just use a ph balanced car soap
Brian, Can you do a video on washing your car in cold weather without leaving a lot of water to freeze in the driveway or the garage floor? Larry and Scott have made a video, but I like your approach to things and would like to see how you would approach the issue. Like you, I live in a cold climate where most of the winter it is below freezing and lots of salt is used on the roads. Having a frozen driveway or garage floor just won't cut it. Thanks my friend for all you do for us amateurs. Bob
Have you tried Wolfgang Uber rinseless wags
That customer must Reeeeeally love you😂😂😂
Well you just wash it normally with a bucket of water and then have a good chamois and have some clean water partly rinse it off and just chamois off and rinse while you go
Many ways to get it done👍🏻
Wow, pre rinse, foam, rinse, then bucket multi mitt, rinse and dry. With pressure washer, I do pre rinse , foam cannon, and contact wash while the foam is on the surface with presoak wash mitts.
Question, how long does it take you to air dry the wheels tires and all exterior with the leaf blower at least to get it 90% dry? Thanks for another great video
How much total water did you use for this wash?
around 2.5 gallons.
That's it??? That's really good. Thanks for this method.
Apex, where at in PA are you? I’m from Snyder county.
Hello neighbor.... kind of. Berks!
Hey Brian, if you use distilled water or a De-ionizer/filter, can you eliminate drying the car all together and possibly wash the car in sunlight? Any recommendations on de-inonizers or filters that are not $$$? I am looking at something like "Aquatic Life Dual Deionization 10-Inch System?" I am sure there are a lot of guys like me out there whose garages are facing west and getting a lot of sun. Yes we can/should wash when the sun is not up but that time is very limited in this case and not worrying about water-spots will help us a lot.
Thanks for the video, what is your favorite car wash soap to use in the IK foam 9? I just ordered it and right now all I have is adams car shampoo (the blue color). Have you noticed a specific product foaming the best with the IK foam 9?
What size tip would you recommend for the Krause/Becker? And how many gallons of water would the Krause/Becker use for all of these steps?
What did you get your “see through” wash bucket? Does it have measurement markers as well? Thanks.
How come not using long lance for more PSI?
Brian awesome video again!!!!!! Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!
Anytime!👍🙂
welcome!!!
What are the two rinseless washes you said you trust?
Wipeout and Wash & Shine
Because I always ask questions, what are your 2 go to rinseless wash products? :)
American Detailers garage and Masterson's
Kind of surprised, I honestly expected one of them to be ONR.
Pre rinse then ONR with red sponge
Yet another great method good sir!👍
Apex Detail yeah, just amplifying my arsenal for water restrictions on this summer
Thank goodness We do not have that here.
smart video +1
