I have the small foam one, and it works great. Saves water and it is handy to use, and it is well built and solid construction.
Iam glad it is slapped together well.. it will get used hard around here💪🏼
Did anyone find the foam spray nozzles for sale?
Hello there Mr. Apex Detailing, Great video on the awesome IK Foam 9 Sprayer! Thank you for the support. Just a couple of things I picked up on. You had the handle screwed on backwards. If you reverse it you can use the locking system as well on the handle. Also, a great feature to mention is the three color-coded mixer adaptors that come with the IK Foam Sprayers. Grey, that is already attached to the sprayer, creates standard foam. Orange when switched out will create wet foam and green when switched out will create very dry foam. Thank you again for the very informative video!
I shall show the other adaptors as I showcase the foamer in all my car shampoo videos. Thank you! Cheers!
great demonstration and tutorial on how to use it! the manual wasn't clear on how to set it up but you made it clear and simple. Thank you Apex Detail ! :)
Finally a foamer you don’t need a hose looks easy to use
Its easy and durable.
Im glad someone FINALLY made a commercial unit for detailers this year. I know a few years back folks were gearing up towards a full sized foamer after the brief success of the wimpy hand pump foamers.
Same here....I did not even consider them until this came out.
That's impressively thick foam! Looks like cool whip coming outta that thing! Definitely interested in seeing this used with rinseless wash.
Pretty darn close to cool whip... more to come👍🏻
@@apexdetail85 But less calories.
I've been looking into getting one for these as I don't have a garage and was looking for a video like this. Thank you
I've got one coming and I can't wait to get it. I see a lot of videos with people complaining about this set up, but a lot of times they are moving way too fast and not spraying in a consistent manner. Regardless I think this will work well for me and I'm excited to try it out.
Just bought this myself. Thanks for the information. Appreciated !
Iam having fun with it Paul! Enjoy!
Thanks !
Nice video. Thanks. I have one on order. I’d love to see more on this experimenting with different products. I’ll be using one to foam Optimum Power Clean in winter as an ONR wash prespray.
That would make a great pre wash. 👍
Just got the Foam 9 in the mail today. Very nice quality. Personally I got it for foaming Optimum Power Clean
One of many great ways to utilize the sprayer.👍
Apex Detail yes sir! I really enjoy your content. I know making videos takes a lot of time, so thanks.
Thank you very much...I enjoy doing these!
Amazin I'm just looking at these sprayers fro replacing my old unit.
Please keep reviews this brand
Love from the uk
Mark
Will do....good sturdy unit.💪
I picked up the smaller version and love it! I use it with Angelwax Cleanliness to do a TFR clean... Works great.
Try Fast Foam next! 👌🏻
Oh I've got it... I use a combo of the 2 actually!
What do you favor using in it Jeffrey?
I've got a combo of Fastfoam and Cleanliness leaning a little heavier on the Cleanliness. I use it every so often to help remove the winter traffic film that gets kicked up here in the PNW with the rain. Otherwise I use Carpro Reset in my MTM Hydro PF22 foam canon for foaming. BTW - love Reset. Foams well, lots of suds in the bucket with great lubricity and really seams to freshen up the coating.
I have Reset on the way...will do review.👍
nice product.great video..be well Brian
First time I've seen this product. Interesting.
Would look good in that snazzy new shop of yours!!!😀
I just got a Smith 2 gallon pump sprayer a few weeks ago. Been using it for rinseless pre-soak. It comes with multiple tips, one of them being a foaming tip. I think I'll need to give this a try with the sprayer I got now! For only $30 on Amazon compared to the $99 for the IK, I'm curious to compare the performance now. It's sort of in-between a cheapo $10 sprayer and a pro grade sprayer.
I have not tried a Smith sprayer...let us know how it compares.👍
Try the purple power car soap, I want to see how effective it is to remove road film
Will do👍
Id love to see this as well with this pump. Hopfully 2 months doesnt mean 4 months hehehe

I use this exact model for my car. It's bar far the best on the market.
I’d love to see more videos with this thing
You ask... and you shall receive! 😀
Hi Brian thanks for the great information!! Did you ever try the IK FOAM 1.5 SPRAYER - 35OZ? Just want to see how this would work. I just watch a video of the sprayer and looks like it did a great job!!!
My kid uses that one... works great!
Would also be interesting on interiors with light APC.
Great to foam carpet cleaner👍🏻
Glad I seen your video I just purchase one of these and I'm glad you said they have accessories thank you for adding the links 🙏👍
Also when using this your dilution is more controlled than using a foam cannon bc there's no more water introduced
Some Meguiars gold class soap in this, would like to see how it foams up
That is on the list. 🙂👍
Have you found the perfect ratio? If so please let me know! I just ordered :)
Mine arrives tomorrow!
Been seeing this all over the place....interested in your honest review on durability. Also, have you gotten your hands on Wipeout or Fbomb from American Detailer Garage?
American Detailer products are en route...I will keep you informed of the units durability.
Which foaming tip do you have on during this video? Just the original grey one?
What are the differences in the three tips? Could you possibly make a video on when each could be used? Thanks!
Brian the Legend, thanks for the review brother. Is the knob tip adjustable?
Are these different than a garden sprayer? What I mean is, do these create more foam that one would get out of the general purpose plastic garden sprayer? Is there a difference in the pump that creates more foam?
So what dilution ratio would you recommend for prewash snow foam a car?
Where did the long clear tubes go? Didn't see you install them? Thanks.
Wonder how well that plastic pump will last. I use chemical sprayers all the time. As a rule if it has a plastic plunger I will not purchase it. Just takes one pump at a bad angle and they break. A metal rod can bend and continue to work. On the other hand I don’t think this unit would have to stand up to the abuse that happens at work.
We use it daily in the wash bay on a daily basis. If any problems show up... another video would be made.
Did you ever add an air stem to pump this up with your compressor?
What are the 2 additional tubes for that come with it they have different thickness
What did you do with the orange and green foam nozzles? I just put mine together and I didn't put those anywhere . Where do they go if you want to use them? Also any tips for using this product ? I used it for one side and it worked great then it was kind of erratically spitting the product out the rest of the time even with full pressure and I made sure all connections were tight as well.
Have you found any spare parts for this unit? like the little white filter things?
I have not. I blow out the filters with compressed air.
Did you ever have time to get dilution ratios down? I've been underwhelmed with this sprayer. I need advice on which tip, and ratio would work best. I have Megs Hyperwash, Carpro Reset, and Finish Kare 118. Thanks.
The instructions that come with the product are a total disgrace and woefully mysterious, and not even worth including in the box 📦 nor the paper they are written on.
Thank you for this video, you really helped me out.
Does ik9 foamer on the nozzle tip does it have like a foam filter plus a screen to trap dirt? Because mine isn’t foaming isn’t because of that? Or am I missing a piece? I have the gray tube connected which is the one that already comes with. Let me know thank you
Hey Brian I have the IK FOAMER 1.5 FOAMER And the IK 12 HOWEVER I MISPLACED THE FOAMER NOZZLE. Do you know where I can purchase replacement nozzles. Home Depot and Lowe's are the wrong size.
Essentially, a garden spray with a straight tip then?
Foam tip. This is heavy duty from top to bottom. I have garden sprayers. no comparison.
Would you compare this to AMMO FROTHe ?
He has the small sized foamer. they do the same thing on a different scale.
Great video I like the fact there is no crazy attitude
I have a weed sprayer they work for onr but i really cant get it to foam I am thinking of this for winter washing at the coin operated car wash so I can use my own soap alot has to with the kind of soap just like my foam cannon
How did you use the clear hoses that were in the bag?
What are the clear tube and the different color ends for?
Could be great but the plastics will for sure not last that long? Been there so many times but not with this brand. The plastic pieces you are fastening the hose etc. with are the ones that will probably break.
The foam is too thick, can you adjust it? I use Bilt Hamber Auto-Foam and it is maybe the best on the market and it is formulated not to be too thick to be able to "rinse" the dirt from the vehicle. It clings exactly as long as needed to be effective. Way too many people think thick foam is the best which is absolutely not true!
I mention that in other videos....the reason I hang onto my old foamer and electric pressure washer. Just the right foam consistency
I agree you want the soap to run off the car and take the dirt with it
Don't you need to stir the the solution after pouring in the liquid into the water?
Nice!!!👍🏻
Loops And Threads 👍🏻💪🏼
What if i were to put full strength iron x or other similar products into the foamer, do you think it would help save product?
Should help it go a looonng way! 👍
I saw these on a Rag Company Vlog. Pretty neat. I have a solo pump up sprayer. Where could I get the spray nozzle that I may be able to put on my existing sprayer?
I picked some up at lowes...near other chemical sprayers in the lawn department
Apex Detail so at lowes you found a foaming sprayer end?
A pack of nozzles hanging at the end of the row of sprayers. 5, 15, 30 .degree and a jet nozzle.
Apex Detail wow, I am surprised lowes would have foaming nozzles for a pump up sprayer. I will check it out. I saw the IK foaming sprayers and thought they were neat.
My lowes has about 7 different sprayers of all makes and models... even more during weed killing season. It all depends on the region you are in.
Was gonna get primarily for tires and rims... I’m no detailed.. just wash my truck and wife’s car on weekends or every other.. debating on ik9 or the hand pump ik pro2 .. point of interest is all the pumping necessary for use.. consider my application and concerns-what is your advice? Use the hand pro2 for 40 bucks or spend the extra for ik9?
Foam pro 2 is adequate for rims and tires, rule of thumb is 30 seconds of hand pumping for 10 seconds of foam. However it is not recommended for foaming the whole car, the foam pro 2 of course. That’s where the foam 9 comes in handy. Go for the 9 if you’d prefer it, and I believe the foam 12 includes a Schrader valve to pressurize with an air compressor... Disregard if you don’t own or plan to own an air compressor. Based on your budget, pick what works for you.
I wish I could get away with foam pro 2. Even at one panel at a time I would be pumping up the spraying too much too be effortless and efficient.
it was good but after use many times then plastic nob getting loose then leaking...
Which knob... the drain knob. When assembled... only hand tighten
can this product use as a pressure washer?
What are the other 2 hoses for that have the colored tips on the end? Does it come with one already installed?
Those are for wet and dry foaming. I think the 3rd is just liquid spray.
White yeah I found out the orange is a wetter foam and the green is very dry, the gray is right in the middle. I swapped out to the orange and really like it better.
Can I use termites foaming chemical?
dilution ratios?
How do u rinse off?
Has anyone had an issue where the spray sputters out of the nozzle instead of being smooth like in this video?
Why pay 99 when you can go to home improvement stores and get a garden sparayer that will do the same thing for less than half?
Brian if any any of your subscribers need any of the foam nozzles for IK foamer 1.5 handheld. Goizper North American contact: Jim Morrison
Awesome....Iam Getting some spares. Thanks!!!
What is price
Dude, you have the metallic silver trigger going the wrong way!
It performs the same either way. was designed to do so...I like the trigger this way.
Wouldn't it.be great if it had a battery and a compressor to top.it.up
How many this product...
👂🏿👀👍🏼
I have a better alternative to the foam cannon that I have yet to see someone use.
