You have some options you might try, none are great. 1st next year coverage gap or donut hole will end so that might help if you are paying 25% because of coverage gap. 2d your doctor receives cases of samples you could tell him your situation and ask if he could supply you with samples, this is common and many doctors do it. 3d You could also request a price reduction directly to the manufacturer based on financial difficulty caused by price. 4th if it is a tablet you could have your doctor double the mg doses and use a pill breaker to brake it in half. 5th you could have your doctor prescribed double the number of pills and one bottle will last two months. Get a good medicare broker that does all companies in your area and they will know how to do all of these thing to save you money and their service is free. Last and best option is voting for change.
