Is there a quick way to copy paste this between report pages or even reports? Feels like there is a lot of setting up with bookmarks and button interactions for all of it.
Hello friend! Thanks for this super tip! I really loved it. Just a note: I've just downloaded your pbi project and I noticed that the "Auto refresh" buttom (which you used the thunder icon) is not working, just the manual method is updating the main visual.
Great video as always. The main problem with the apply all is the other slicers don't update. For example, if I select a Product Category, the Product slicer isn't updated with only the Products within that Category making the user experience poor.
Maybe a possible solution is to keep both slicers visible in both bookmarks state, but overlap them in different orders. I haven't tried it yet though.
As much as I love Power BI for it's modeling and speed, the visuals and interface are lagging behind the competitors. The functionality you displayed here was inherent in Qlik 7 years ago. I was able to create beautiful interfaces that were highly configurable and conditional right out of the box. Simple things like conditionally showing a visual was and is standard in Qlik while it's still not possible today in Power BI. I don't understand why the visuals in Power BI are so parochial.

Hi. I made my own version of this, but on a folded out panel using bookmarks to fold it out . My main issue is when i fold it out then 1) The display of the filters (product vs location) isn't how it was left off as - the visual part of it. Could you make a video to show how to make a slicer which searches text across multiple columns or some required columns. Eg search location New York or just a search if category like phone . Instead of having two slicers or using bookmarks

@@HowtoPowerBI No it's fine...I just find it funny how they are coalescing into similar ways to make selections. Its interesting to me that Qlikview had this sort of thing over 10 years ago and it's still better implemented than PBI. I just feel PBI needs to step up their game faster.

Great point Jack! Hope that it will get updated on future PBI versions.
