I couldn’t even tell you the amount of times I’ve had teammates give up on the game in the first minute from going down one or two goals or from getting accidentally bumped by me or another teammate. You’ve been super lucky is all I can say haha

I'll take the ball chaser. Least stress and least chaotic of the three. I'll hang back on our half, back post rotate and try to clear the ball over to the guy, end the match with 5 saves no goals while my buddy does the opposite.

There's an entire demolition community out there that get hundreds of demos per day. They exist. They are not all "chasers" but this was more of a fictionalized version of bad teammate stereotypes so there is some exaggeration.
Rocket league bad teammate stereotypes (from what I experience) Ball chaser: chases the ball, messes ur goals up and is garbage at scoring Demo man: BOOM Toxic loser: toxic bronze noob The perma-goalie: a guy that tries to defend but can't defend The freestyler: gets messed up by the ball chaser 😂 The blind man: dumb The gold: 💩

Toxic players are the worst, even if their game sense and mechanics are on point. I'd rather have a silver chaser teammate than a toxic GC.

Team 1: a pro (showing me what I should do), 2 ballchasers who go for EVERY touch but seems to be unable to hit an empty goal - furthermore they are uber toxic and start bumping the pro and own goaling once the pro makes a slight mistake Team 2: a team of 3 GCs and or SSLS who always play together and are coordinated well
Sometimes perms goalie are good. That and perma goalies are almost meta since most plats are ball chasers and usually there’s a three commit for most of the game. Somebodies gotta play 3rd and most randoms don’t want to.
I’m so upset that I didn’t get to see the boosted gold vs the plat freestyler I was waiting for that matchup since the start and when I saw they were the last two I knew I’d get to see it and then I didn’t lol
