Been looking for a 512 for a while!
I actually love how Panerai does their hour markers, lacking a minute track. I think we fuss too much sometimes over accuracy, let’s just enjoy these beautiful watches!

I have a 512 Q series inbound. Both my son’s have a PAM 00111 and I was contemplating a 510 or a used 111. I saw this watch on a site awhile back and it turns out it is a hard piece to find and it is now replaced by the PAM 572. I managed find an excellent example and per your video I took a chance and bought it. Not sure I will keep it but I have the 111 to compare it to once it arrives. Thanks for an excellent video.

My hand is 16cm, is this too small for this watch?
    Thanks!

Problem with this PAM is that it has a Piaget based movement that usually goes in their dress watches. Beautiful architecture and finish but not really the rugged and robust type of movement you would expect in a watch with a DNA suitable for diving or other sport activities. There are better movements in the Panerai catalogue that fit the bill for what the brand really represents imo. If you want to use this PAM 512 as a dress piece, it is totally acceptable though.

I don't know what to think about this model. It almost seems confused as to what it is. Like a melding of several cases.

Did I miss the lug width for straps. Very important information. Didn't hear it. Come on, dude.

For 42mm Radiomir, it's probably 22mm. It is for Luminor. 24mm strap width for 44mm watch case.
