Technically yes they can they are under rated by specs the vxf and zvx .i had 8k taramps on two vxf for like a couple years just make sure its a clean signal and no distortion and they will pump

I got a 1ohm zvx 12 and an amp thats 2,000 at 2ohms and 3,000 at 1ohm. So want to get another 1ohm zvx 12 so I can push 3,000 watts to them
