That 8 is going in! I have the 10in and that sub thoroughly impressed the shit outta me!
Holy SHIT that thing is MOVIN! I had an EVL-10 in a custom box i made tuned to 31hz in my chevy S-10, and at 33hz the cabin resonated to much that just the single 10 made my ears feel weird it was loudr than my VXF-15 i have right now lmao.
Box is 1.20 cubic ft it's tuned at 32 hz 23" long x 10.75 wide x 15.5" tall
How big is the port?

Doing the same exact build almost but with maybe the next step up on level sub.
Mine box. will be 35 inches long though.
Buy the 900 rms I would’ve if I had looked longer and I just want a port size so I can build it
I have a EVL18 in my dodge ram and love it, also have 2 more EVL18 in my home set up! Great subs!

how much airspace for that box? Thinking of downgrading to an 8" from a 10". Currently I have about 1 cube net for my 10. I think an 8 would sound better in 1 cube than a 10.

nah need to do a big 3 on your alt and get another battery and a cap
Lmfao dimming of lights has nothing to do with the sub being bad, you need to upgrade you electrical, get a bigger alt, second battery, big 3 upgrade…. Stuff like that
Your stock alt is made to be able to charge 2 batteries. Get bigger wire and get either one 1000ca marine battery or 2 of them.
