Just wanted to say hello Bobby . I have learned a lot of Pink Floyd music from you and a lot of blues music. Thank you so much. We appreciate you and I hope you will continue to teach on RUclips. I can play the” time” solo of Pink Floyd consistently now, thanks to you!
Don't get me wrong, I am not a rude.. But.. Love the fact that you are a woman and love albert king music. Not so many woman like the blues... My wife do. Just merried her 😁
You make a lot of sense to me...that is my favorite music to listen and play love to watch you teach and i could actually practice and learn...thanks man
I paused this lesson at 3:19 and started playing something for a quick warm up. After 5min I turned back to screen and saw your amazed face - never laughed so hard.
Great lesson! SHOWING how it sounds when played "wrong" is worth a volume of SAYING how it sounds wrong. It was also useful to study your "shuffle" melody. I learned a lot from it.
Only on level two of the course and love it!! Been practicing 5 hours a day. Thank You. Love how refer to notes and frets as the intervals. Very helpful. Thanks for the GREAT COURSE!!!
Thank you for providing explicit examples of songs that feature slow blues. I am very familiar with SRV but I am only learning about all of his mentors and influences. Tremendous lesson. Thanks!
Love all your lessons and you teach well!! I’m using an IPhone 6 and magnifying glasses to see the you are doing and sometimes I don’t have to look , but listen and I can follow some! Thanks for all your work and help!!!!
All kinds off style since 1970 but I was lucky from around new Orleans area my dad would take me bar hoping when I was 7 on I loved the music bourbon st just walk down there was endless Love music . Well At 15 bought a little pignose hit the French quarter and just stared jamming . Slow playing after you learn sweeps is such a. Different way off feeling .every word he is saying is meaningful slow down and feeling it brought me back to why I started when we talk to people with our instruments they can't help but to be drawn in love art my friend enjoy
Great lesson. I understand every words (I'm Italian) and you are so clear. Your playing is great and your tone (guitar, amp,mic..) are perfect. Bravo! Thanks for your videos. Tried to copy but it's hard to learn your licks on youtube, you are damn fast and use many techniques. It's like to learn licks from SRV😁.
Absolute Blues Guitar Lessons I can't do the all thing iam a beginner but still got confident with the minor scale thanks Bob I own u a couple of paints...
Good Lines Sir!! I would love to see more tutorial from you. Thank you Sir!! I can play but i do not know how to explain. Your tutorial made me understand what I'm doing. Now I can explain to my friends hahaha (Subscribed)
@@TheOnlineBusker The course includes a 30-part slow blues tutorial that features a lot of the licks from the solo at the beginning, but in the key of B, instead of Bb. There are several solos in the slow blues section, all tabbed out and with backing tracks.
At least one other video shows him playing a lefty (a tele,IIRC). Also, I personally think it's easier for a righty to learn from a lefty. It's a mirror-image, so nothing is reversed, the directions are the same. If the lefty is walking up the neck, he's moving to my right, same as I am. It's simpler and makes more sense, IMO.
I noticed that on some slow blues songs the structure is not strictly 145, such as on Led Zeppelin since I've been loving you and some Peter Green songs where they seem to throw in some curveball chords And chords that go up or down 1/2 step.
When will you teach the lesson that advises what face to make to get the bend to slowly reach the right note. Soul perhaps is inherent, but can it be taught. Seriously, great lesson. Glad I stumbled on your tutorials.
mmm Im only a beginner but left me a bit confused why you can't play same licks from a faster blues in a slower blues. Don't mean to sound do ignorant.
Hi Peter. There's nothing wrong with playing slowed down versions of the licks you'd play in a faster blues, but the phrasing and feel of slow blues traditionally has its own unique flow. A good way to learn is by picking up licks from the example solos and incorporating them into your own playing. It's all broken down on the website. There's actually a 30 part section on slow blues alone.
Kane6676 This video is only the first in a 30 part, in depth series on Slow Blues. I had to demonstrate the underlying chords in order to provide context. The full course is on our website www.absolutebluesguitar.com

At the 16+ min mark , I could hear Johnny Winter, Be Careful with a fool, and then u played a tribute to SRV.
I love "Be Careful With A Fool". I've stolen a lot of licks from that solo over the years.

I sold that guitar a while back, but the pickups were Bare Knuckle Apaches. Great, vintage pickups.

Slow blues is why I am here, less talk more demo would be great for ear players like me. of course, opinions are like "sphincters" every body has one.
There's an in-depth, 30 lesson slow blues section on the website. This is just the intro video.
Hi Bobby do you do any acoustic blues vids George Cornwall Uk
Looking at the headstock logo I just realized you're a lefty, and that you reversed the image so us righties can see what's going on?
I noticed that too!
Michael Helms Same with the letter “C” on his forearm.
Bum part works either way. Plays a mean blues as well
how is the rhythm counted when you double the triplet as demoed in the video?
Thank you so very much! You've inspired me to play the guitar again after putting it in the closet for several years.
That's great, Ken! Best of luck!
Get it out!
Lefty playing with image reversal?

where can I find this backing track?
I hear a lot of SRV style in your tone and playing.
Headstock logo is backwards. You must be a lefty flipping video so lessons are easier to follow. Thanks!

👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Do u teach online one on one like Skype or zoom ?
Hi Warren. Yes I do. I can be contacted via bobbyharrisonmusic.com
Check out Brit Floyd at Red Rock on RUclips. Bobby is some player

I wonder why the Fender logo is reversed?
He's a lefty and films it to appear to a righty world ;)
@@fattboyzz1355 i too thought of that, but it's reversed relative to the headstock itself.
No pusiste ningún diagrama de las notas que hiciste…ni tabs….que pena…como practicarlo??+??

Never play slow blues like this (Proceeds to play exactly like I play). :-(
I thought this was a solo lesson? Your just strumming chords
