- James dropped by one of the premier cigar shops in the world, the Davidoff store in London, where he asked owner Edward Sahakian to compare his favorite lunch-time cigar, the Trinidad Reyes, with James' favorite lunch-time cigar, the Montecristo Petit Edmundo.
Mr. Sahakian is a great gentleman and a real connoisseur of the cigars. I have had the pleasure and a privilege of meeting him and enjoying a Cohiba cigar with him (which he offered me free of charge). Visiting his shop was one of the highlights of my trip to London. Thank you, Edward and James!
Wonderful
"Let's pick a cigar for after lunch!", then he grabs two. Sounds like my cigar fiend friends visiting my humi.
What a great blast from the past.
I can’t live without the petit Edmundos.
Love your videos and reviews James! Thanks!
This video confirms my strong affinities with Mr Suckling. Petit edmundo is one of my absolute favorites. I smoke it in combination with Philipponnat royal reserve champagne, or with Egly Ouriet trdition or Vrigny. all noir-based champagnes that hold up well the tension of the smoke. Even the evolution in the glass and the progress of the smoke interpenetrate and exalt each other. The spiciness, fullness and smoothness of the two make for a truly magnificent interplay and the result is a symphony. Thanks James
Love these cigar videos make more
Both great cigars and loved the video of you both!
My experience with Cuban cigars is still quite limited, but I just smoked by first Trinidad Reyes today and it is not only my favourite Cuban but my favourite cigar without a doubt! A box of these little beauties will be my next payday treat. :)
two great gentlemen enjoy two delightful cigars
NOW THIS LOOKS LIKE A NICE AFTERNOON! A TRINIDAD AND A MONTECRISTO PETITE EDMUNDO ONE FOR EACH HAND COUNT ME IN!
I'm now smoking a Trinidad Reyes. Extremely elegant in its taste. Very refined. Very easy to smoke and extremely good
This video turned me onto Trinidad and the Reyes has become my go-to short smoke. As they noted in the video, lots of balanced flavor that's usually not found in such a petit cigar. I usually get about 40-45 minutes out of Reyes, which i is just about right for the cold New England winters when you don't want to sit outside for 90 minutes. To add to the experience, it's really a beautiful cigar. BTW - I also have a box of Petit Edmundo cigars and have smoked a couple so far. It's a decent cigar now, but IMHO will need a few years of age to round it out a bit. If you get a chance, pick-up some Reyes and you won't be disappointed.
If it wasn't for the insane price hike I would agree with you, but now with around 60$ for a Trinidad Reyes...I don't feel too confident about it anymore...the value is simply not there for that price...sadly...
This fella is a Rockstar...wow!
love that Reyes. I can afford it, and it's good. win-win
Gearoid Walsh The Petit Edmundo is truly excellent with age like most Habanos.
The trinidad is very agreeable, i had it with a double shot cappucino, got a wonky burn but evened out....if you have the means , i suggest you buy one.
Edward is so right on cigars. He’s really the legend of cigars
I have small boxes of both of these cigars. Trini Reyes and Monte Petit Edmundo. Smoking a Petit Edmundo right now as I watch.
"What's your favourite level of humidification?" - Where else would you get this question? haha
68% no more
Nice presentation. I just smoked an Edmundo a half hour ago, I have never had a Trinidad.
Don Overstreet Trinidad coloniales one of my favorite cigars. Next size up from Reyes which is really good too. Definitely try one
well james, next time you should problably take your time to light up your cigar more carefully ;)
That's a fair point. He's too occupied :)
Edward Sahakian, the living legend.
I bet it smells devine inside that humidor.
Smoking my first Reyes whilst watching this. Tasty cigar, but having smoked Davidoff cigars for the last month or so, the draw on the Reyes is shocking, to be honest.
Petit Edmundo ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Hi, i am planning to Visit Cuba and am very interested in visiting the Trinidad factory near Pinar del Rio, can you please share the location more specifically? (exact Address or Coordinates) Many thanks.
ask to the taxi driver he know the best. ;-)
I smoked my last Edmundo a couple days ago...
Interesting - but for most of us Americans, these two cigars are out-of-reach, price-wise and certainly availability. But a great video, none the less ~
Mic Tod™ For them, there's always Prince Edward.
At least one of them is a Gentleman..
I bet they have one heck of a nicotine buzz going on
James and Edward smoke a couple of Cuban cigars; cameraman snorts a handful of Colombian nose-candy.
Trinidad for the win 💪
I pay $10 each for Petit Edmundo shipped to my door but they always need aging.
Тринидад намного дороже, стоит как Коиба!
Got to be niceraguan and Honduran for me h upman is my favourite but it's personal choice my father only liked Cuban but they not really my taste
You sound like a nasty salacious bitter old plump gay queen
