The fact that the Santonio Holmes catch during Super Bowl 43 is not in this video is just crazy, that will forever be the greatest catch in NFL history.
I grew up with Howard cosell and John Madden to hear John Madden say that was a good catch or to hear John speechless after a catch of such caliber is saying a whole hell of a lot.
Did anyone else notice that Allen threw the football 60 yards in the air @5:45? The catch is impressive enough, but that's a superhuman throw right there.
For real, I didn't realize how sticky they are until getting my hands on one. Once you feel the tackiness it's not really surprising that so many one handed catches can happen these days, it's damn near like glue. If stickum got banned I don't see why these gloves aren't.
In the 70s, some receivers used stickum.. However, most played with bare hands except in cold weather. And, those gloves didn't have the technology to grip the football as the gloves of the past several decades. Now, the current gloves are designed to be cohesive, certainly helping with these catches. Gloves help greatly with those catches. The gloves are designed to grip and hold the ball in their hands. It's more impressive when the receivers catch them with bare hands.
The older ones are more impressive because they aren't using these insane gloves. If you haven't felt them, the tackiness/stickiness of them is genuinely incredible. I don't understand how stickum can be banned but then everyone was fine with gloves that do the exact same thing except they do it arguably much better. Not to say the newer ones are not impressive. They are too, but it's seriously like having glue on your hands.
Sucks that the Kearse and Jones catches will forever be foreshadowed by the Seahawks and Falcons cursing themselves moments later
blowing a 25 point lead in the 2nd half is actually insane and it still baffles me.. also, BeastMode man

It was pass interference on the defense so it wouldn’t have mattered either way. Insane catch
Don't care what team you root for, all these catches are applaudable by any football fan

You’d think Brandon Lloyd is a hall of famer watching this
Count the number of times commentators bring up Odell Beckham Jr.
Yet the Bengals got lucky with him catching only 2 passes & losing by 3 points in the Super Bowl. The man was torching them before his injury
I maintain the belief that Edelman's catch at 20:06 is the most absurd and clutch catch in the history of human beings
Adam Thielen on the Vikings was a PROBLEM. Dude was putting up insane numbers.
I fully expect to see plenty of Randy Moss
Db on Brandon marshal “what I didn’t do anything” proceeds to put marshal in a freaking headlock
Hadn't expected the number of Deandre Hopkins highlights.
