In 1991, i bought the game and played in MASTER mode. The composer 'Toshiharu Yamanishi' is simply GOD of megadrive. ..by far. Thank you Toshiharu. You made me a very happy teanager at that time
This was the first game I ever finished, after playing it over and over for months until I got there. Seeing the final screen of the magician walking away with the floating faerie beside him, with the final piece 'Setting Out' brought me to tears. Thank you for uploading this incredible soundtrack.
I'm so surprised not many people played or listened to this. The soundtrack was one of the best on Genesis and the game was a petty solid (and hard) game overall! A bit short though.
+Erza Scarlet Some people either didn't have access, or were shut out from it due to the lack of a tutorial I think. I know my siblings couldn't get into it because they died on stage 1 or 2 every time so they just watched me.
10/10 game, 10/10 soundtrack - you also get a 10/10 for this upload that properly captures the sound of the real hardware. In general, I feel this is the best soundtrack of any Genesis/Mega Drive game. Just gives me goose bumps!
Thunder Force IV was the result of the process of mastering the Megadrive's sound processor. Elemental Master is when the masters flex on us with their technical skills.
Holy crap! This soundtrack puts other games to shame! I have never heard this before today, but I could easily put this among my top three FM synth game soundtracks.
Also, I have to say your soundtracks are the best. Since it's taken as it sounds from the actual console, I never noticed how much better it sounds from other versions I've found on RUclips! This truly does these tracks justice.
One of these days, Imma beat you game! Whenever I died on the last level, I just give up since you lose all of your power ups. Dance of Flame is my jam!
The staff credit roll tune (last track) is so damn "big" in terms of sound. Pump it through some good headphones or speakers. The great thing about so many of the top Mega Drive tunes is that capacity for pure synth tones and deep basslines that weren't sample-based.
+MNanme1z4xs You have no idea what you're talking about! There are countless of great Mega Drive soundtracks, even some average games have good music on Mega Drive such as Saint Sword, Robocop 3 or Verytex.
Which themes I like from this game are the reverse of those in Techno Soft's future game Thunder Force IV/Lightening Force: the selectable stage themes and the end fortress boss themes.
@Juan García "No, it never appeared in Europe, Renovation Products only distributed Japanese games in North America, on the other hand, Sega of Europe may not have been interested in distributing it in Europe in 1990, being that Renovation released it late in North America, until 1993" - Oh, wow! I had no idea about this, thanks =)
+xXiTrIPpAxIsiXx My god, they are the same developers, and Dragon's Fury is the US name for Devil's Crash (JP), that at the same time is the port for Genesis of the game Devil's Crush for PC Engine. Anyway, Devil's Crash/Dragon's Fury have 4 OMAKES soundtracks from games from the same developer, Technosoft, and from this game have Blood-stained Lake as a OMAKE.
As usual with Tecnosoft, killing FM synthrock with mad opening and closing themes just like Thunder force IV! Toshiharu Yamanishi was really getting the best of the YM2612 (and so on on Arcade and Saturn). So sad Tecnosoft disappeared and their legacy died.

I dont care to be upvoted. But, damn I remember this.
my favorite genesis soundtrack , each track is a masterpiece in its own.
Wows!
It has a Medieval flavor.
28:09 is the best song on the genesis
@Justus Bowman yes, it was easy to skip. but very rewarding to wait for it.
thanks I like to click on this!
This game was such a hidden gem, my ears thank you for posting this
Best soundtrack for a Megadrive game,i recorded the game on my VHS to watch and listes to the music!
I used to do that as well, happy days👍
like the wind(level 2) is a masterpiece
It is just so balls out. I love it.

Can I get a 10/10 for being me?
@@vansajexora no
Wow! Those FM Drums are absolutely fantastic!
A blast from the past. Pure legend!
No SNES song can't touch this, definitely not.
Castlevania X called and took that challenge but even as amazing as it sound was failed to match this:)
compaq98sc lol no.
Josue Ortiz This is definitely BAD ASS! That said, it's not that bad ass.
sega boy detected
@Phillip Scott Are you sure you are not dreaming? I hope after a whole year you woke up eventually...
Thunder Force IV was the result of the process of mastering the Megadrive's sound processor.
Elemental Master is when the masters flex on us with their technical skills.
Back again. Still some of the best music ever created
Holy crap! This soundtrack puts other games to shame!
I have never heard this before today, but I could easily put this among my top three FM synth game soundtracks.
Another reason the Genesis is my favorite system ever.
30:26 remind me of some Last Ninja 2, The Mansion , Ike! Ike! Nekketsu hockey - song (Americans) and The Revenge of Shinobi OST - Terrible Beat
Until the End of the Earth (Stage 3)... Dat bass

One of the best mega drive/genesis soundtracks, love it so much :)
I have now listened to the staff roll song 5 times in a row. So good.
One of these days, Imma beat you game! Whenever I died on the last level, I just give up since you lose all of your power ups. Dance of Flame is my jam!
I love the movement from minor to major keys as you near the ending.
Da hora estes toques,gaiares,verytex tambem
Amazing soundtrack!
"Nothnegal - Web of deceit" led me here. Their song is inspired by Elemental Master's beginning of dance of flame (stage 1)
I love this game and this soundtrack so much! It's like listening to my hole childhood. Such sweet memories.
One of the hypest covers of the Sega Genesis.
Gaht damn, this is one awesome soundtrack
Indeed it is!
Staff Roll theme one of the best credits theme on 16 bit ever.))
The staff credit roll tune (last track) is so damn "big" in terms of sound. Pump it through some good headphones or speakers. The great thing about so many of the top Mega Drive tunes is that capacity for pure synth tones and deep basslines that weren't sample-based.
Masterpiece.
I never played this game, but it’s quite a cool soundtrack!
I enjoyed these bgm during my student days. Motivating. The other was bgm from Thunder Force 3.
First 14 min, Ending Theme 34:28 and next Staff Roll - just awesom!
@20:15 that slap bass is hitting different
Literally the best OST ever
go back a few years and listen to shadow of the colossus soundtrack.
@@corehazard4709 shadow of the colosus the playstation game?

Core Hazard This predates that so I guess was confused about "back a few years"
Thunder Force 4 would like to have a word with you.
I like these musics very much.
The start screen is Goblins “Prodondo Rosso” theme, wonder how they got away with that.
What an awesome soundtrack !
This is one of those osts that overheat the system. ;)
17:50 is classic boss bgm. when you hear some up beat tempo going on like that you already know it's about to going down.
Technosoft is one of few dev know how to make music on Genesis.
+MNanme1z4xs Technosoft, Sonic Team and Treasure made badass music on the Genesis. :)
Daniel Hunter Sense I said of few, that include any thing that does make good music on genesis.
Im going to check it out
If you look harder you'll find plenty more.

You have no idea what you're talking about! There are countless of great Mega Drive soundtracks, even some average games have good music on Mega Drive such as Saint Sword, Robocop 3 or Verytex.
Gotta love Technosoft's distinct sound just awesome

i really fucking love this OST. Superb!
21:29 S-TIER Genesis track.
Amo este juego, su música es una obra maestra.
Toshiharu Yamanishi was a legit mad genius.
beginning of like the wind is a taste of 80's
The music hooked me

This is dope.
But why is Jean Claude Vandamme on the American cover?
Damn reminds me of Sorceran! So fucken guuuuuuuuuuuuuuud!
Wow! This soundtrack is great =) How strange, I don't recall this game at all :S Then again, perhaps it wasn't released in Europe?
I never played it either but the soundtrack is good.

Not gonna lie, I get some Star Lord vibes from the cover guy.

Wooowww!
Dance of Flame's intro sounds a lot like Out of the Shadows by Stratovarius
20:20 Sounds like an early draft of a TFIV track.

music is awesome as expected from tecnosoft game ;P

33:12 Sounds pretty much like Castlevania 2 from NES.

Good music pal
Thanks for adding my theme song visit me at the omlet arcade so and uhh ilike it
When will you add time stamps my guy? lol
so did they just flat out steal music from Dragon's Fury? O.o
This game was from 1990? I assumed it was much later than that.
original JP version in 1990.
+andyukmonkey
It got a rather late US release, 1993, which might explain your feeling.
As usual with Tecnosoft, killing FM synthrock with mad opening and closing themes just like Thunder force IV!
Toshiharu Yamanishi was really getting the best of the YM2612 (and so on on Arcade and Saturn).

La meilleure OST de la MD ? N'exagérons rien. Effectivement la musique du stage 1 est merveilleuse mais le reste est bon sans être exceptionnel.
