My number #1 game of all time. This game right here changed my life forever. The ending tore my heart. But this game will always be my absolute favorite. Fighting Seven Force, Melón Bread, the Running robot at the Core, the Dice Palace, fighting green himself. Jesús christ this game still amazes me. My favorite tunes are Stairs too High, Bravoo Man, Level Select theme, stage 2 theme and my absolute favorite The Continue Screen theme. Gunstar Heroes forever. Thank You Treasure and Thank you Dustin for posting this once again.
@@megadriveleo ☺Thank you so much!! I sincerely appreciate the compliment! I think you're the first one in... years, to ever recognize where it comes from!👍
Anyone who still says the Mega Drive sound chip sucks I always use this game as an example of what the Mega Drive audio hardware is capable of cos Treasure was a great developer for the system.
It is great, yeah. To really slap, however, it needs a resampling of the bass with what is found in the Boss Theme of Earth Defence Force. That would slap indeed.

Intro gives me the vibes of the Boss Theme in Earth Defence Force. Only the slap bass was in the centrum attention there, while here it isn't, at least not all the time. Legend of the Gunstars is, well, legendary :D
Oh man, I love this soundtrack, no matter what MD model it plays on. Hanzawa's work here is so over the top and lively. Fits the game like a glove given it's chaotic nature! Question though... did you rip this OST twice due to any differences between the Model 1 and Model 2 sounds?
I had a patron request a rip of this and I lost the files for the original upload, so I figured I'd rerecord it on my current main hardware. There are probably no major differences, but I figure it's worth keeping both of them up
I had 'Legend of the Gunstars' play as my wife and I walked into our wedding reception

Me when the stairs are too high:
😂
Lol
'usually feel more like in the _Ghostbusters_ "stairwell" track... 😅
Its kind of insane how the genesis manager to reproduce a soundtrack of this caliber even with all the crazy shit happening on screen in this game.
Ohhh hell yeah! Treasure always delivered the best OST for their games.
A complete classic game in every single way.
I still think this is the best game Treasure ever made.
@@sjake8308 It’s a toss up between this and Guardian Heroes for me.
AN ALL NEW GUNSTAR HIGH-QUALITY RE-RECORDING !! ♥

This soundtrack slaps. Actually everything about this game slaps. You rule, DUSTINODELLOFFICIAL!

This game right here!! Some good memories. I used to have the OST downloaded on my old iPod shuffle. Appreciating this 😊
Wow it's been ove 30 years :( ... them memories!
Managed to beat it on expert mode co-op with the bro!
Classic. Hanzawa and his iconic composition style never misses with these games.

This game totally fits the bill for a game that came out in 1993.
Intro gives me the vibes of the Boss Theme in Earth Defence Force. Only the slap bass was in the centrum attention there, while here it isn't, at least not all the time.

Control Unit HDR back at it again (I have a weird obsession with this track in particular, dunno why)
Awesome track, one of the more evil sinister tracks but with super cool electronic tinkering. Top 5 for me for sure.
Loved this game. Used to play with my bro when it was available on sega channel.

This game seriously needs a new gen update
Cool soundtrack!
This game is ridiculous!!! (but awesome)
Great!
Can you upload the Virtua Racing Sega Genesis OST (it's different from the 32x one)
Do you think you’ll get to Maximum Carnage this year? And just how do you record games that don’t have sound test?
I'd like to, and hacking/running games via Everdrive
Thank you so much for this. Is there a download available with the tracks separated?
Yes, though I like to keep these exclusive for my patreon supporters www.patreon.com/dustinodellofficial
@@DUSTINODELLOFFICIAL Thanks! I'll be taking a look soon 👀
Hey can you try to rip the OST for Toy Story on the megadrive? I havent seen an proper real hardware rip for that.
Can this be downloaded somewhere?
