I’m pretty sure the VENOM one does tho, as it can be bought in bundle with a battery pack, I am getting one so if you want I can update you when I get it
@CybertrooperOfficial it works well with the factory double AA, but there's a bump with the aftermarket bat pack, I appreciate the reply but I bought lenovo legion go with a nice and bigger screen and it remote plays way better then my galaxy S23
Personally, I use a short USB C wire to connect my Google Pixel 7 to my Xbox Series X controller, and I don't carry batteries in my xbox controller. It will drain the phone's battery, but it will reduce the weight and friction of the setup. I've tried using bluetooth for over 300 hours, and I used my wire for 200 hours, and I believe wire is definitely the way to go for me. Your mileage may vary. Connecting the controller to the phone using bluetooth takes about 7 seconds, and holding down the xbox button to turn it off takes 5 seconds. Meanwhile plugging in the wire takes 3 seconds and unplugging it takes 1 second. You save 8 seconds per gaming session, and that matters when you're on the go and need a quick session. I also don't adjust the clip like in Budget Boxer's video, but I make it flat so it will fit in my bag's front pouch. If you put the clip like in Budget Boxer's video, it's going to be even more awkward to fit into your bag than a steam deck, and it's gonna stress the parts when you squish the backpack. I recently made a review on my channel showing my preferred clip adjustment.
Depending on which phone you are using, most current phones should work natively when connecting a Xbox Series X controller with bluetooth or direct wire. I've used the clip on 3 different phones (Samsung A53, Samsung A71, and Google Pixel 7) for over 500 on a dozen apps, including ppsspp, retroarch, parsec, steam link, dolphin, and aethersx2, and they all work. However, the 1st party PlayStation Remote Play app doesn't work unless you use a 3rd party app to convert the Xbox into Playstation input. I've used the clip for over 3 years almost daily even though I have a steam deck. It's that good. I also made a review on my channel.
I have an 8bitdo Ultimate 2C Wireless Controller. Will this attach to that as well?
Does the gaming clip work for other controllers or is it specially made for the xbox controller?
Note: Does not work with battery pack.
