    For confused US based viewers, in Europe the prices include tax. So where US customers have to manually add it to work out what the actual price is, European customers don't.

      In the US, the average sales tax rate on online storefronts is 8 to 9.25%. So it would be 299 * 1.0925 for a price of 326.65.

      And that's without Trumps suggested policy of taxing imports more, effectively tanking the GPU market. I believe it was something crazy high like 30-50%, which for GPUs and PC parts in general is basically just bringing back covid pricing for no reason. I moved from Tampa to Santa Clara a few months ago and I’m thinking of purchasing a single family home there, but with real estate prices currently through the roof, is it still a good idea to buy a home or should I invest in stocks for now and just wait for a housing market correction? Looks like NVDA, TSM and AMD and AVGO are strong buys this week.

      well you could put a downpayment on a home and as well diversify as much as you can into Ai, energy and big pharm. stocks like Pfizer and JnJ, ASML, MLM and S&P 500 ETFs. I’d suggest you go with a managed portfolio, but even those don’t perform so well, so it’s best you reach out to a proper fiduciary to guide you, that’s what works for my spouse and I making a whooping $738k in Q4 last year

    A CPU emulating another CPU is always bad, that's why Java and .NET are just bad solutions, slow, laggy, hanging, crashing, the works; it's a bad Virtual Machine. The best possible solution is a proper implementation with the corresponding API, or a well done VM, but there's no need for a VM, all software makers, should cooperate and coordinate efforts to develop a proper Elite X API/HAL, and then recompile software as needed. It's a Common problem, so it should have a Community Solution

    Those prices are horrible. $300 for a 6 core CPU still is a ripoff. Far better value to go with the $400 8 cores however based off prices why not go for the $500 12 core. AMD is literally price gouging just like Nvidia.

    • @JusstyteN
      @JusstyteN 3 месяца назад +1

      First lets talk where can you utilise more then 6 cores. Remember with all the performance increase its more important to have fast cores then many and 6 cores is more like 7 of ryzen 7000 and prob close to 12 core on ryzen 5000. For example i had 7600x which is performance of 8 cores packed to 6

      @@Winnetou17 GPU compute are usually MUCH MUCH faster but they are limited by VRAM on board wich can be very expensive.
      to load a single 70B model it require a 48Gb card minimum. but there is efficient CPU formats that can generate text fast enough for us to read as it goes and that would load on RAM instead. much much cheaper.

    Enteresting.... Since when is a 00 variant a 16 core CPU? That's been reserved for a 50 variant. So will there be a 5950xt variant? This just seems like AMD had some golden 5900x wafers and decided to crank these out. If I owned a 5950x I'd be PISSED right now. LOL

    • @Winnetou17
      @Winnetou17 3 месяца назад

      They marketed as such, because 5900 XT is slower than 5950XT. They could've called it simply 5950 non-X, but that would mean that the marketing team has brain cells and care for consistency. Though, to be fair, this is a very very minor issue, compared to some others (like that Ryzen HX CRINGE 9 370 mobile APU)

      They're still supplying a lot of Zen3 chips on server contracts and whatever doesn't pass as usable for servers, gets turned into a consumer chip. And I guess they had a lot of CPUs that were a bit better than existing models, that's why they released new "products" to better value them.
