For the price, you could buy a 3d printer, filament for said printer, go online and get a model of the socket orginzer, spend a week or 2 printing and you still have change plus the ability to make more if needed.
There expencive for what they are, they made a killing on these

People have been 3D printing stuff like this forever. The Toolbox Widget isn’t 3D printed. They’re much stronger and chemical resistant. They are insanely expensive but there is nothing you can 3D print that’s as good.

I’ve never had an issue grabbing sockets. I can read most of the sizes. They also make stems with socket sizes on the end that you can insert into the widget. I usually bring a fastener to my box and select the socket(s) and wrenches needed before starting a project.

$750 on socket widgets, yeah no thanks I don't care how many veterans own the company. Start with that info because there are much cheaper, more functional, more portable, more modular options. What you've got looks nice but that's a hard no from me.

@@DemoDad101 i should also say i dont have that many sockets in my cart lol. All 3 heights for 1/4 and 3/8, short wobbles for both drives, deep wobbles for impact, and a set of real stubby 1/4 sockets from gearwrench. That $400 price tag is a hard pill to swallow for that small amount of sockets. If i had 1/2 drive thrown in, it MIGHT be a bit more understandable since they would theoretically be a bit stronger for a larger socket. Idk. We'll see how the alien ones do. fact is most sockets and wrenches come with organizers, just put them in your drawer. im 64 and can/will tell all you young guys. you may think it a waste of space or a pain in the a$$ but these types of organizing methods are necessary. i cant tell you how many tools i have lost due to the fact i did not have any organizers to visually tell me they were all back in the box.
do what you want to but now i save every plastic organizing box that my tools come in and i dont lose a damn thing! besides, when the other dudes see your tool box they look at you as being a little more pro not a friggen slob and may take you more seriously.
