So far this is my 3rd Norman Wisdom film. He was really a great actor. He had more talent than anything in Hollywood these days. He was funny. I had never heard of him before. One of his moves came through my notications. I decided to click to watch the movie. I'm glad l did

Grew up watching Norman Wisdom in black n white in early 70s. Brings back fond memories of cold English winters on Saturdays, with Bruce Forsyth's Generation game in evening, and Norman to keep the kids happy in afternoons. Sometimes, they'd also have Charlie Drake's films, another childhood favorite. Small, but great men, at least to us kids.

I love the Boss's argument on why crime is an essential part of life because, at the end of the day, no crime, no law and then you're stuck with what to do with hundreds of out of work Police, Court Staff, Prison Staff and even Security Guards!
Effectively, you can't have order without disorder and vice versa

Except that it's not. A huge part of life is anticipation, hope, looking forward to something. We live far more in the imagined future than in either the past, where memory tends to fade or cloud or be confused rather quickly, or the present which, as the Old Dixie Poof remarked, goes by so fast you can barely acknowledge it before it's outa sight.

yeh a excellent film there. also a couple of other diffrent films from him are "double x the name of the game", that is a strange film where he plays a straight role also good is "whats good for the goose" which was definatly diffrent for norman wisdom to say the least, it is more of a straight comedy "whats good for the goose" but it is sort of a more adult comedy for wisdom, a little bit like a "confessions" film and has quite a bit of nudity courtesy of sally (bless this house) geeson who was in her prime here.
