Personally I’m not normally a fan of paddle extensions but u picked a good oem looking color. Doesn’t look tacky like those carbon ones do. Props to you for having good taste lol. Also the exhaust sounds amazing!

Hello, I got a M440i g26 too but haven’t the same display for the head up display. Did you code or it is stock? I’m from Europe btw don’t know if they made changes ( expect for the exhaust)
i’m assuming you have the gran coupe. i think the HUD comes with the premium package for BMWs, not sure if that’s what it’s called but i don’t think it comes unless you bought one with that package. you can’t simply code it in because it requires a screen that reflects onto your windshield
that sounds sick bro! Do you notice you get the best pops on high rev (like 5000rpm) upshifts or high rev lift off (so letting the revs hang at like 5000rpm)? Also are the pops and burbles consistent? I feel like I'll get a pop every now and then, but not consistently
thanks bro. pops and bangs are definitely loudest when you let off at high RPMs without shifting. they’re not the most consistent thing ever. sometimes you’ll get some insanely loud ones, sometimes they’re a little quieter, it’s about 50/50, you can’t just spam the throttle at high RPMs and get unlimited gunshot pops lol. that being said it’s pretty loud for a completely stock car and tune
No CEL. muffler deletes will never do that because you’re not changing anything with the catalytic converter/downpipe so it doesn’t impact the engine in any way
I’m surprised this pops like crazy bc starting 2021 model year they nerfed the exhaust pops like crazy on the M340 and M440i. Stock downpipe and everything else?
yessir, 100% bone stock besides just a removed muffler. It definitely surprised me how much it pops, especially when letting off at high RPMs, I also heard about the 2021+ models being a lot quieter. I think it prob has something to do with the downpipe being broken in or something
Picked up a '23 as well just a couple weeks back. You have any video you'd be willing to upload? I'm super curious! I'm after spool/turbine noise, but totally happy with stock loudness. Wondering if this is the move.
@@xhighalertif you want turbo/intake noises you’re better off getting a good intake. muffler delete will make the car MUCH louder exhaust wise but not change too much with intake sounds
Wouldn’t say much worse, the 8 series is the widest bmw to date, a bigger car will not have better handling than a smaller coupe, m850 is miles ahead of the m440, interior wise, sound wise, looks wise, speakers wise, plus the sound of the 50i’s are something made from the gods

would my 21' m340 sound the same as this since we share the same engine? This is popping way more than I thought it would be! Sounds fantastic for just a muffler delete!
can’t guarantee it but i imagine it would sound very similar. side note the popping is only that aggressive when letting off at a high RPM after full throttle, it’s nothing like a burble tune or anything
yes. however i didn’t realize that there is only one valve on one side of the exhaust that typically directs exhaust flow through the previous muffler. so now the valves don’t really do much even if it’s closed

inside with windows down. didn’t touch ASD
