Thats a great question. You could click through a bunch of Taboola Ads to find ones to copy. People very commonly use advertorials to pair with their Taboola Ads. I would recommend that, plus HTtrack to copy the web code once you found one to rip off. This is what I do most of the time.
It can be OK, for mass marketed products like supplements and the like that appeal to 1% or more of the public, as targeting doesn't matter. With that, there is some real traffic on there, via AOL, Yahoo, and some others. Other than that, it's useless.
I was promoting supplements on Microsoft search just fine, then I added a couple Geos, and that triggered a strike. I removed the Geos and then the ad went back to eligible but account still suspended. And I got the chat rep to submit an appeal after removing the Geos. But I didn't really change the ads or landing pages. Waiting now... I don't feel very good about it but I'm hoping the strike is removed simply for removing the Geos. Any thoughts?
They are definitely less strict in third world countries than the first world. The main thing is, if a product category is really banned/blacklisted, they will take you though an endless loop of asking you to make changes to your site/ads over and over again. I have been through this. You will know if you are in a niche like this if you search for your products like yours on Bing.com, and no Ads come up.

Hey, which tools/themes do you recommend to use to create your own news site for advertorials? what's the workflow here?

Microsoft Audience Network is good? I found that to be bots as well. I had to block it all. That was for a webhosting niche, though.
