I just changed my thread, and now the thread doesn't pick up the bobbin thread. I have rethreaded several times, very closely following this video but it is not grabbing the bobbin thread. I have been practice sewing and changed the thread twice with the same procedure. But today I cannot get the thread to pick up. Any tips? I have not touched the bobbin thread, it is inserted from before factory shipment so I know it is correct. I also made sure there is enough thread still on the bobbin. Any ideas?

There are a couple of things that could be going on. Please go through each of the below and test after checking each part.
      1. Remove the bobbin and make sure there is at least a 6" tail of thread coming out of the bobbin case.
      2. If you have changed the needle make sure it is installed with the carved out part (scarf) facing right as you look at the machine.
      3. Make sure the proper thread size is being used for the needle. If you haven't changed the needle (we send a #20 with the machine) then you should be using a V-92 thread.
If none of those did it, please send an email to support@sailrite.com with a picture of your machine threaded and we will see if we notice anything in the picture(s).

If you pull on the Bobbin thread, does it come out going clockwise? Loaded with a number nine not a P
I’ve made that mistake on machines getting it backwards and it can really mess things up

Why did you only go through the pig tail? my book shows it going under and around the friction button next to the pig tail, is this a change? also I have no metal hook where the tread slot is in the front covers, is this also something new? my thread sometimes gets outside of this slot.

To my knowledge, we have never recommended going around the friction button next to the pig tail unless you are winding a bobbin. The metal hook you are seeing is part of the new integrated light that works with the new WorkerB motor system found here: www.sailrite.com/Sailrite-WorkerB-Integrated-LED-Light

That "friction button" is the bobbin tensioner. My guidebook's says to use it only for winding a bobbin. It's not part of the normal thread path when going to the needle.
