This guy is making drums the lead instrument, more musical than vocals, that in this case are only background.

Fantastic!. A great idea to listen to the monotonous rhythm of the original drums first. What this guy does (apart from juggling and/or virtuosity) is offer a new vision of the song by giving the percussion the prominence it deserves. His musical instinct is outstanding. Thanks Ryan! One thing you might have missed is that he's using 2 snares, that's not a floor tom. It's just a deeper snare tuned down.
El Estapario is just another level in drumming. I am sure (and hope) many young drummers are inspirated by his techniques and speed !
