When you started to add the bush on the right side of the road, I was worried because I didn't know how that would work. Of course, your magic and talent made that bush materialize in just a few strokes. I love this painting. I want to be walking down that country road! Even in your new-mother-sleep-deprived-moments, you do such a terrific job explaining your method and getting to the finished product. Thank you again for sharing your talents with us!
In regards to your issues right now...I think that any mom totally relates to your sighs and yawns. Just because your problems aren't as big as other problems you could be having doesn't make them any less real. Couple any issue with a lack of sleep and you can sometimes be left scrambling. Hang in there. Motherhood isn't a piece of cake. As wonderful and blessed it is to be a mom, it can really be a rough road at times. I will be praying for you!

Oooo! That was fun! My side bush is too big, my horizon is too low, but my family won’t notice and tell me I am amazing, lol! Thank you for a fun painting. 🖼️

I finally put aside other jobs and sat down to do this painting. I am shocked that mine is actually not so bad! I even added mountains in the back. Thanks for putting these tutorials out there. You do wonderful work and I love how you take us through the process.

I love Sarah from Let's Make Art as well. ❤ I took a pic of this same painting and am so glad you are showing how to paint it. It came out beautifully.
I understand what your MIL was saying, you are experiencing a first world problem, not a third world one. Having lived 69 yrs and raising two children while working, you realize all that you have overcome through the years and everything usually turns out well in the end. Hang in there!😊

So, how has September been for you? I do hope you're well and your family is okay.
ETA that I 100000 percent understand what sleep deprivation can do to you as a new parent. I am the mother of 3, but my last son [he's 9 now] is heavy-duty special needs, and I've not known what a full night's rest looks like in years. It's actually the reason I stopped making watercolor art videos and sharing with like minded people like you. I just don't have the time and energy right now, but I do paint while I watch you. So know that we do understand... well I do lol. My cup of extra strong coffee is huge lol!

this looks like hot press or a much smoother type of paper in compare of a rougher surface paper?,.cuz I have the same paper you have shown in your supplies used and my texter shows differently?,. i really do love this consistancy in the paper paint and how it is laying down
