    Beautiful painting! I like the small size. It seems way more achievable than a large painting. Thanks for sharing your talent!

    I love it. I can’t wait until I can go from blended background to a few details that result in a beautiful, inviting painting. I’m still at the stage of feeling compelled to add detail to convey what my inexperience can’t convey with color and contrast.

    You baby is saying good mornin! She hears mostly the "good"word when you say good morning. She's sounding out that word.☺️

    • @sallyjordan4869

      That’s what I was thinking, if you tend to say “Good morning” to her.

    • @JuliaLisArt
      @JuliaLisArt  9 дней назад +1

      I speak polish to her so I never say good morning. Perhaps it's something else I say

      @@JuliaLisArt She might be saying "TSO" which translates to 'WHAT' ?

    😃 my new favorite word, "speckle-age"!
    I love this, it reminds me of the saying by John Muir, "Into the forest I go, to lose my mind and find my soul." Thank you and have a great day!😊

    Julia, LOL….you do not like those spider effects, but I try so hard to get them! I have even bought the same paper. Nope. I then bought the same brushes. Nope. So, I splurged and bought the grabie paints. Sigh, no. I would love to have that effect it looks so natural in landscapes. I am so jelly! Thank you for gorgeous painting!

    • @JuliaLisArt

      I wonder if it has anything to do with the amount of water/pigment or the pressure of brush to paper. That's the only thing I can think of if you use identical materials!

    I loved this one! I just cannot figure out how to paint the perspective of the path leading into the distance

    • @JuliaLisArt
      @JuliaLisArt  4 дня назад

      It's easier to start off with a straight path first. Pick a central point on your horizon line, and then draw 2 straight lines at different angles.

    You paint such beautiful trees! Mine are getting better with time, but does the brush you use count when painting them? BTW you're so down to earth and real. So cool, talking about the baby and all is like getting instruction from family. 😊

    • @JuliaLisArt
      @JuliaLisArt  7 дней назад +1

      Thank you! The brush certainly can make a difference! Generally a thin brush or round brush with a fine tip is needed to paint fine details

    I love watching your videos after work every night..I get home at 3am lol but its relaxing. I then save a few to try my hand at on my day off on Monday. Cant wait to try this one. I also like the fact that most are small paintings that I can stick to more easily. What size are these small paintings?
