      Hello Alivia
      This is Tom, I will be setting up some kind of Google calendar sign up document that Tami will publish on the Nutmeg Notebook Facebook page and possibly also the Blog. So make sure you are subscribed to both as I will need to publish to all subscribers at the same time, and then it will be first in to sign up. we will offer that for both Saturday and Sunday lunch time. So watch for than and of course introduce yourself to us at the beginning of the Conference!

    Hi...did you have a video on an anti-inflammatory smoothie? I can't find it on RUclips and not on your website. Perhaps I'm wrong?

      Thank you! That's the one and it is very kind of you to post it for me. I've had two tears in the miniscus of my right knee and I'm trying to put extra effort into anti-inflammatory foods. I've never made smoothies because Dr. McDougall has never really thought they were that great and I agree with him.....I always prefer to chew my food! But I thought I'd give this one a try for a couple of days while I'm going to physical therapy. I'm trying to avoid surgery. Thank you again!

    I know we are not really supposed to count calories, but how many would you say you ate per day? I think what you're describing is exactly what is wrong with me!

      I have no idea how many calories I eat in a day - I don't track them and I don't know how many calories are in the recipes I make.     Sorry if you’ve answered this 100 times. But... how do you store and then re-heat your baked potatoes? Love your videos, blog and Facebook.

      I store mine in an open container lined with a paper towel in the fridge.I find the open container keeps them from getting too wet and mushy. Tami may store hers differently.

      When done baking I take them out and let them cool on the baking sheets.
      Once cool I stand them up on end in large rectangular plastic containers.
      This keeps them from being crushed from the weight of the other potatoes.
      I store them in the refrigerator in open containers - this keeps them fresh for days. I always start my air fryer fries and smashed potatoes with cold pre baked potatoes from the fridge. I heat them up in the air fryer and the microwave - just depends on what I am using them for. Hope this helps!     By the way, what is WOE? Not familiar with that acronym. Ordered my 15 inch Beech bowl this morning via your link to Holland bowl makers . Can't wait to get it. I'm excited because I know that by prepping my salads ahead, like you showed us, then chopping it when it's time to eat it, it's going to make all the difference in the world. I look forward to getting more nutritious foods into my diet.

    I’m confused...I thought Furman’s diet was whole food plant based as well so why would you gain weight on his plan? What is the difference in chef AJs plan from Fuhrman that helped you lose the weight?

      I did lose weight when I first adopted Dr Fuhrman's Eat To Live plan but then like I said in the video my thyroid stopped working and I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism. Even after I started taking meds for my thyroid I couldn't lose the weight I had gained by following Dr Fuhrman's program. The difference between his plan and Chef AJ's is his plan includes the higher calorie density higher fat foods like nuts, seeds, avocado and tofu. Although those are all healthy whole plant foods there are some of us who can't eat the higher fat foods and still lose weight. Chef Aj's plan is based on lower calorie density foods.
